Our all time favorite for 17years! Gorgeous view of Queen Isabella bridge and the Bay. Great, friendly staff! Monday lunch special Almondy is the best meal ever! Tender fish and mashed potatoes covered in three cheese sauce! Add crab claw for fun! Ethan's crab cakes have a divine fish sauce and come with the best garlic bread. Islander on Wednesday is a regular for us as well. Salmon Caesar has a huge piece of Salmon and is enough to feed 2! Don't miss Pelican Station!

I walked in thinking I'd grab a cookie or two, but the moment I saw the display, all self-control disappeared. The selection was incredible, so instead of choosing, I ordered one of each of their 10 cookie flavors--and added two duplicates to make it an even dozen. Knowing it would take some time to work my way through the box, I started with the Lemon and the Butter Cake. Let's just say...the bar for cookies has been raised and southern meemaws now have a worthy adversary. These cookies check every box of what a truly exceptional cookie should be: perfectly baked, rich in flavor, texturally sound, and downright unforgettable. Every bite was satisfying and gave classic cookies an eclectic twist without being over the top. I'll be thinking about these cookies for years to come.

It was hot outside, but the inside was cool, welcoming, and had little touches that reminded me of Christmas and winter. Even though it's summer, it instantly made me crave hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies! The cookies were absolutely incredible--warm, soft, and perfectly baked. Paired with the ice cream, it was easily one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. If you're in South Padre, don't skip this place. It's comforting, delicious, and somehow feels just like home. We'll definitely be back! service was awesome! The ladies were quick, friendly and welcoming especially since it was busy they were still 100% nice and warm

You can watch the bakers making the pastries and breads fresh through the glass window behind the counter, and everything we had was fresh, artisan, handmade, and tasty. Day-old banana bread -- very good, even a day old. Chocolate croissant -- not a ton of chocolate, more of your traditional size with just a little inside. Strawberry cream Danish -- very tasty and fresh. Cream puff -- super moist, with perfectly tender dough. Really good bite. Cinnamon roll -- very large, so don't underestimate the size. One note: the cream/icing on top was just too much -- too sweet and too heavy-handed. It would've been better served on the side to dip into, because the parts where we took off the cream off were really good. (We microwaved it for a minute once we got home.) Coffees -- a couple of solid coffees, nothing too crazy. One thing to flag: for five or six pastries and a couple of coffees, it ran us around $50. Pro tip: This isn't somewhere I'd take the kids. It's more of a spot for someone who wants a really good baked good and a coffee -- and be ready for the prices to add up faster than you'd think. Would recommend, and would return.
