This was the view from the balcony as we ate breakfast lunch and dinner

Took a few days off just to get away to a quiet place. The pelican Bay restaurant was just wonderful. It was in walking distance of the cabin and the food was delicious every time. The service was fast and friendly. Would definitely return.

    Great dining room.

A great restaurant inside the Cedar Mills Marina and Resort. It faces the marina with lots of big windows, and a great patio if the weather is good. I had breakfast here while I was checking out the cabins for rent. I picked the Garbage Pail, which is everything breakfast thrown in a big pile! A lot of food, which I couldn't finish. Too much of a good thing! The decor is great, as was the staff. They told me all about the restaurant and the resort. Here's what you need to know. Smoked sirloin on Friday night, and smoked prime rib on Saturday night! Be there! Glenda and I will be staying a few days at the resort in March, so a review update then. See ya!

First time here. Views are great, staff is friendly and food is good. Room for improvement with food and waiting time to get food took a little longer than usual. Fried catfish was yummy and shrimp was great! Bayou burger was missing some sort of sauce but fries were good. Onion fries tasted frozen but was okay. I would come here again and try blackened catfish!

The view and decor in this restaurant is very very nice, unlike the waiter who could not get my order right. I mean compared to my family I ordered the plainest food ever a cheeseburger with nothing on it. And yet I got a hamburger with a lot of things on it. How the heck do u mess that up. Otherwise this place is chill.

We had such a great time the first time we went, that we had to go back in the 4th of July. The food is excellent at a great price.

Cool restaurant on lake Texoma. Food was average but the fact that it looked out over the lake made up for it.

We told them what we were looking for and suggestions were made, we ended up getting a lemon cookie (I asked if it was chewy and he showed me how soft and moist it was) and a raspberry lemon cake. The cookie reminded me of the slices of lemon cake you get from Wally World (delicious!) and the cake was just as delicious. the raspberry filling added a nice little touch that didn't overpower or create too much sweetness/tartness. it's a good thing that I don't live near by cause I'd be a regular however any time I come through Durant, I'm making a stop at the sweet spot!

What began as a cozy coffee corner inside a local boutique has blossomed into a full-service café, restaurant, and bakery under the ownership of a mother-daughter duo who took the reins in 2023. Today, Stay Grounded continues to serve up fresh, locally roasted beans alongside a full menu of made-to-order meals. Their Frappe, Coffee & Espresso lineup easily rivals any big-name chain, and the prices? Practically unbeatable. Whether you like your caffeine hot, iced, blended, or bougie, they've got you covered. What truly sets Stay Grounded Coffee Café is the experience. The beans, roasted weekly just down the road in a Sherman coffee roastery, keep things fresh and flavorful. The cozy dining area, once a Sonic drive-in, brings a bit of nostalgia and warmth to your visit. Many people don't even realize they can come in, sit down, and enjoy a full meal. My last experience I ordered a rib eye. OMG. I was served a piece of grizzle. I had a sharp knife that couldn't cut through it. I needed a chain saw. I was done with that steak. Any one star chef could tell this wasn't to eat. It was strictly for the garbage. They brought a better piece. I was exhausted. I really think they changed chefs and got 'a want to be' with no experience. This person came out to retrieve my sorry piece of fat and grizzle he served me and had absolutely nothing to say. No apologies at all even though I almost choked to death. The chips and pace salsa are good.

We were really wanting a good steak; didn't want to drive to Sherman or Gainesville with storms coming, so thought we would try again. What they got right. Blue Cheese dressing was good and thick and the salad large for a dinner salad. Seasoning on the rib eye steaks were very good and they were cooked to medium for me and medium rare for my husband. The cheesy potatoes were pretty good and husband's baked potato was fine (hard to screw up a baked potato). What was wrong. 1) Green beans tasted literally like they had been dumped out of a can and some commercial bacon bits thrown in and this is after we asked was there bacon in them. We expected real bacon, not bacon bits. No other seasonings could be tasted. 2) Rib Eye Steaks: My rib eye was ok, a little tough and gristly - I could eat it with a lot of chewing. Husband's was nothing but fat and gristle (see photo) - over a 1/3 was left on the plate because it was not edible. It is obvious that the steak is not a prime grade, but commercial grade or less. 3) We were also surprised that no rolls, toast or any type of bread was served with our meal. Their response was "we only serve with the BBQ". Guess this is an area where they cut back. I find it very hard to recommend this place for anything, especially with our first experience with the BBQ being so bad and now with the expensive steaks.
