First thing you should know is that this is not Baskin-Robbins and you should not expect 33 flavors. Instead, expect a dozen or so house-made and curated flavors. Of course there are your standard flavors like Vanilla Bean and Chocolate. But then you have flavors like Lavender Lemon and Salted Caramel Oreo. Prices are reasonable for island pricing ($5for a single scoop). I went with a single scoop of MCC (mint chocolate chip) on a CHOCOLATE waffle cone. The ice cream was smooth with a healthy amount of chocolate chips and the chocolate cone paired nicely. In addition to the indoor seating, there is also ohtdoor seating that is shared by Larry's Deli-Q. I'm really just deducting a star for not having a menu board where the daily flavors are currently posted. Instead, you have to either lurk in between the tables or you wait until you get to the counter (no pressure). This is a solid spot for ice cream and I would drive down again the next time I'm in town.

After sampling multiple flavors, I was able to narrow it down to two (can't remember the names) and ordered a cup with the two flavors. It's a good thing I stopped at two because the portions are nice-sized. My husband and my sister both ordered different flavors so we were all able to sample a little of each. So creamy and delicious and not over-priced. They also have a gift shop where we were able to pick up some really nice Topsail Island t-shirts for a decent price. While we were looking at the shirts, we spent time talking to the owner and she went above and beyond answering our questions about the shop, the shirts and the area. We will definitely be back when we are in the area, which hopefully will be quite often. Our nephew bought a place in a great campground that is perfect for our RV. And best of all, it's walking distance to Sweet Alicious. YUM!!!!

Not sure if they got a different supplier or they are trying to cut costs but neither scenario is good because the meat is horrible. I will try it one more time to be sure but IF this is the new norm- I will not be back, like ever. If it's a cost savings plan- this never works. You end up alienating your core customer base to save a few pennies. It's not like this place is cheap. I'm paying a decent price but I expect a decent burger. I could have spent hours browsing. The staff as welcoming and friendly. There is plenty of parking in the little strip mall.
