I'd give this place 5 stars if they actually let customers sample the ice cream before you purchase the scoops/cups/cones. This is the first place I've encountered that doesn't allow you to try samples, and it might be that they used to allow it but because people abused the system they quit doing it. Either way, it's a frustrating result. My ice cream was great and the employee was nice, but if samples were allowed and if there was any indoor seating so you could enjoy the AC I'd have given 5 stars without a second thought.

It costs only $12 to rent a pole and fish for 24 hours and the pier is open 24/7. I walked out on the pier and was mesmerized watching the people with their poles. I saw a ray and blue pulled in and released. The people were friendly in a Southern charm way. The views from the pier are lovely. I would like to return for sunset photos. The pier has fish cleaning stations and benches to sit. A lot of birds hang out hoping for some fish. Worth a visit if you love the ocean and fishing.

Despite following the rules, two employees began yelling at me as if I had done something wrong. The situation got even worse when I was looking at one of the squishies. One of them was already out of its packaging before I ever touched it. An employee immediately started yelling at me and accusing me of taking it out, even after I repeatedly explained that it was already like that when I found it. Instead of listening, they continued raising their voices and treating me like I was lying. To make matters worse, the employees were also speaking about me in a different language while I was standing there. Although I could not understand everything they were saying, it was clear from their tone, gestures, and the timing of their comments that they were talking about me. This made the situation feel even more disrespectful and uncomfortable. As a customer who has supported this store for years, I found this treatment disrespectful, embarrassing, and completely unacceptable. Being publicly yelled at over things I did not do was frustrating and upsetting. Customer service should involve listening to customers before making accusations.
