I spent a LOT of money and personal time after the fact trying to make it work correctly, and it never has. It works EXACTLY like an old worn out transmission. I even paid over $500 for round trip towing, and offered to pay again to have it rebuilt out of my own pocket. The car sat in their shop for a MONTH, and they didn't do anything but add a TWO inch long screw to the kickdown rod bracket, and pretty much nothing else judging by how the car drove when I went to pick it up. I wish I had all the money and time back, but that will probably never happen. I am just going to move on and get it rebuilt again, and hopefully for real this time. Extremely disappointed..... After +/- TWO years of screwing around I found out a transmission guru is practically in my own neighborhood. I will make sure he documents everything that was or wasn't done inside this transmission. As for the transmission looking factory fresh, that was ME thinking I had a rebuilt transmission that I paid around $1500 for including convertor. I made sure it looked as good as it was "supposed" to perform.

I ended up bringing it back three separate times for the same issue. To be fair, one of those visits did uncover another problem that genuinely needed to be repaired. However, I repeatedly brought up the original O2 code, and every time I was told the car was fixed and ready to go. Unfortunately, within the same day or by the following day the check engine light would come back with the same code. Each visit cost me more money, so I kept assuming an honest mistake had been made and would return a week or two later hoping the issue would finally be resolved. A few weeks ago, my car completely died. I almost brought it back here, but after the previous experiences, I decided to take it to the dealership instead. The dealership found burned wiring, blown fuses, and had to trace and repair sections of the wiring harness. I'm not claiming this shop caused those problems, because I don't know that. What I do know is that after those electrical repairs, I've been driving the car every day, and the O2 sensor code that I had been chasing for months has not returned. I'm not accusing any one of intentionally replacing parts that weren't needed. However, when a customer returns multiple times with the exact same problem, I expect a more thorough diagnosis instead of repeatedly replacing parts and sending me on my way. The repeated repairs cost me a significant amount of money without solving the issue. What finally convinced me to leave this review was my last visit. I asked if they offered a military discount because my parents were paying for the repair. Instead of simply telling me yes or no, I was asked what my dad does in the military. After I answered, the conversation turned into comments minimizing the importance of his job. That was disappointing and unprofessional, especially coming from someone who said they were ex military. My father's service deserved respect, not criticism. I can't recommend this shop based on my experience. I hope they improve their diagnostic process and treat customers and military families with more professionalism and respect.

What…read moreI got was a pinging engine that leaked oil, coolant, and transmission fluid from the moment it left the shop. And was throwing multiple check engine codes. Then 10k miles later the crankshaft breaks on my way to work. Almost crashed the car. Mind you, I waited about a year just to get the car in the shop. Was just trying to help a local small business during the Covid madness. He sold me hard on a used engine he had at the shop and I was more then prepared to go with brand new. I guess that was my big mistake. Tow it to em and no explanation to what happened and no warranty. Then the mechanics have the nerve to ask me when am I going to let them build my truck out. Wow guys. I'm not one to bad mouth folks and don't care about the money but I've been burned bad. I guess they saw the cash and took me for a sucker. Lesson learned. You can't treat folks like this, bad business.
