It's like finding the perfect nail salon or hairdresser. A girl just needs a good mechanic. What I like is that they don't blow smoke up your butt. They tell you how much it's gonna be and that is what you're gonna pay. They did an excellent job on my oil change and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. The two men who helped me were extremely friendly and helpful and they didn't try to rob me blind because I'm a female. My car sounds and is driving as good as new. Just what I like.

The manager here is a little rough around the edges when he talked to me, but the mechanic who was on duty at the time called me Ma'am, and explained a lot of things about my car so I'll understand. No lies, just honest, caring and helpful. I waited until Jan 31, 2026 to replace the brakes because of finances. Turns out my rotors were worn and should be replaced, with the front being priority over the back. He said I could keep the rotors if I could deal with a little squealing. I went ahead and had the rotors replaced too. The total for front and rear brakes, front rotors, and to fix something that was dragging under the car, came to $637, which I felt was reasonable. I highly recommend ETA Tire and Auto on Spencer Hwy and Center St., in Deer Park, TX because they are respectful, honest and not out to take your last dime. It was nice to hear that they are Christian owned! BONUS!!

They gave me a time frame of how long my vehicle would be at the shop, which seemed a bit long at first but there was a lot of work to be done and parts needed to be ordered so that's fair. They finished early which was wonderful! It's been a few weeks since my vehicle was repaired, and I feel like an excellent job was done as not only are my former issues gone but there are no new sounds or squeaks as have happened previously with other shops. I took it back they said they heard no noise and charged me for freon. Days later my car stopped in the middle of the road. I ended up taking it to a different shop and they discovered an entire part missing from my car. I tried calling/texting Velas and received no answers. I drove to the shop and they knew exactly what I was talking about and gave me my part back. Their interaction was weird when I mentioned to them that the entire engine hose was missing. I am not the first review that mentions they are missing parts after getting repairs done at the this shop. There's also multiple people on social media accusing them of allegedly taking parts from their vehicles. Not sure if this is what they were trying to do with my vehicle but it resulted in me paying over $300 to fix the damage my car experienced after this part was missing and the car was being driven without it.

I had some work done here today on my 2014 Acura ILX for replacement of sway bar stabilizing links…read moreand bushings along with state inspection and emissions test. I brought in my own sway bar stabilizing link kit/parts which they were more than okay with accommodating. I also brought in a physical mail coupon for their shop which made the inspection and emissions test entirely free. They also have online coupons on their website that you can use. This is after I was quoted over $700 for replacement of bilateral front sway bar stabilization links by my Acura dealership. The total cost for all of the work, not including the sway bar kit that I brought in myself, was about $165.00. Very reasonable. The shop has multiple kinda of snacks, bottled water, coffee, etc available for use while waiting with free WiFi. The customer service is impeccable. The owner, a very informed and friendly middle eastern woman, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The owners and workers at the shop are open, honest, and efficient. In my opinion, this is the ideal local auto shop that anyone would be lucky to find. A diamond in the rough, truly. If I could give it 6 stars, then I would! I'll definitely be back, and you should too.
