They're very thorough, if you didn't know it was broken, you'll learn very soon. So everything they pointed out in my car, specifically was a very truthful assessment. There was nothing else extra that they claimed, I admire truthfulness in a mechanic shop. The Oil change with filter was an excellent deal for only 49.99. I had some work done here today on my 2014 Acura ILX for replacement of sway bar stabilizing links and bushings along with state inspection and emissions test. I brought in my own sway bar stabilizing link kit/parts which they were more than okay with accommodating. I also brought in a physical mail coupon for their shop which made the inspection and emissions test entirely free. They also have online coupons on their website that you can use. This is after I was quoted over $700 for replacement of bilateral front sway bar stabilization links by my Acura dealership. The total cost for all of the work, not including the sway bar kit that I brought in myself, was about $165.00. Very reasonable. The shop has multiple kinda of snacks, bottled water, coffee, etc available for use while waiting with free WiFi. The customer service is impeccable. The owner, a very informed and friendly middle eastern woman, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The owners and workers at the shop are open, honest, and efficient. In my opinion, this is the ideal local auto shop that anyone would be lucky to find. A diamond in the rough, truly. If I could give it 6 stars, then I would! Very rude behaviour by the lady sitting at the desk. They send coupons by mail but when you go there the story is different. For freebies they show less interest . They won't even offer a drop off and she tells me that it depends on the work done she will decide whether to drop you or not. Also if you ask something she will try to give estimates which are higher. For a quote which Gulf coast League city gave me 500 usd (and their work is excellent) these guys gave a quote of 850 usd so please stay away from them. There was another man behind us too who has left the car for long for a part they were looking to be outsourced to get for him and that person looked upset too. So would not refer this place to anyone. No wonder they are sending free coupons to attract customers. read more

-------------DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE ---------- I will start off by saying I went to this place about 2 1/2 years ago for my 2001 GT Mustang transmission rebuild, everything went fine, at! that time it was different people in the office and in the shop. I'll make this short I took my 2006 Chevy 1500 to have the transmission looked at, they call me and give me a price and I tell them that I will be there to pick it up. I get in the truck turn it on and it sounds like a bomb went off underneath the truck I get out and look underneath the hood and see that my exhaust is completely broken from the flange. I go inside and tell him what happened he says he does not know and looks at the mechanic that was standing behind him he looks at him with a very confused face and all of a sudden he remembers he had broke it, I asked him what happens now and he says that he is sorry that it was rusted and he does not have a tech or welder for that. So I'm left walking back to the truck with no answer on what to do next beside take care of it myself. I've had to spend $570 on the part that was broken by THEM! and paid $200 for labor, damn not everybody got that laying around being that it's Christmas season and all ! Not including the embarrassment and complaints from neighbors So in my eyes if it was in the way either he should've removed it or told me it would've been an extra charge to remove so he wouldn't of damaged it, that would of been fine with me. The main thing is that they didn't tell me that it happened the guy tried to sneak it away as if I wasn't going to notice because my truck already has a magna flow exhaust. And then to just try to push me out the door and not offer to help financially in any way is pretty messed up. I called back one time to ask if you could help in any kind of way he said no. Called again and asked if he can put the part on he said yeah but then I started to think about it and asked myself why would I want to give my truck back to somebody who is already messed it up once and lied about it what makes me think they're not going to mess it up again and lie about it again Don't let the clean shop and the nice office fool you, when it comes to taking responsibility and accountability these are not your people. This might be the only second review I have done in my life only because I feel that people who really care about their vehicle need to know about places like these. read more

3.5 months to repair our truck. Communication was terrible which resulted in us coming from Austin to pick up the truck when it was not ready. The second trip was almost for nothing as they did not communicate that a payment was initially sent to us however never received. State Farm issued payment and supplement directly to the shop however they would not accept the initial payment so we were forced to cough up over $1500 and wait for reimbursement from the insurance company. Big problem. Additionally I think they are jerks. They asked for our $500 deductible even though a HUGE sign out front said They would waive our deductible. We did not pay the deductible. read more

Horrible service Took my car in because it was accelerating on its own and it would pull/jerk They said the transmission was messed up and they needed to fix it for$2500 They called and said it was ready to pick up Car worked great for 2 days and guess what? The jerk was back lol they went under the hood again to see what was wrong and they said nothing was wrong with it that it was a throttle sensor messed up I went on Google and the sensor is only $50 So you're not gonna refund the $2500 because YOU guys had a misdiagnosis? Best part is while the car was in the shop supposedly a kid escaped from a juvenile detention and broke into the shop. BROKE INTO A SHOP THAT HAS CAMERAS AND ALARMS The best park is the kid got into a brand new Ford focus moved it out the way and then pulled out my car to take lol which doesn't make any sense They found the car down the block and now Rick says their insurance doesn't cover it? I noticed my 2016 Kia Sorento was overheating while I was on this side of town and was lucky enough to pull over at a gas station right next to Master Transmission. I went in and explained what was going on and they took me in right away. I had a faulty thermostat and they couldn't replace it due to not having the part on hand. They took out the thermostat so I can at least make it home. (I live all the way in Channelview.) They gave me faulty thermostat and I pulled out my wallet to pay and they advised it was no charge. I'm a single Mother and I had my children with me...I couldn't have been more grateful than I was today. Thank you for the great customer service and I will definitely will be recommending and going back for any future car needs. read more

Fantastic auto repair shop!!! Rick took care of my car at the Friendswood location. I was informed promptly and throughout my transmission diagnosis & repair. Prices, customer service, time taken to diagnose, & repair my car, was better than any auto service experience I've had in the last 30 years. My car drives like a dream again!! All employees I came in contact with were very nice, helpful, respectful, & patient. The shop is clean and comfortable. I do NOT recommend this place. Of cause, if you want to lose your Saturday or have no other things to do, definitely go there. I brought my car on one of the weekdays for diagnostic, was informed only front pads needed to be replaced, and that the rotors are in a great shape. We agreed for Saturday 8 am an appointment. I brought a car on Saturday at 8 in the morning, as agreed, and was told it will take about 1.5 hrs to replace the brake pads. I left to have a breakfast with my out of town guests. At about 2+ hrs I received a call from the shop that they forgot to get my keys for removing tires. I had to excuse myself from the breakfast, had to ask for a ride to the shop, gave them a key (even though it's a standard "Toyota" key and many car shops have it or at least have the courtesy to ask an owner for it at the time of accepting the vehicle), and left. In about 2.5+ hrs later I received a call from the shop that all rotors and front and back pads needed to be replaced, and the time and the price for service has significantly changed (from a special $139 for front pads replacement to over $400 for the total brake job). The shop employee informed me they can not guaranty my safety if I will not have all brakes (rotors and pads) replaced. By that time it was already around 1 pm, and my car was still in the shape it has arrived. I felt it was a lie to get you in and then to rip off, and refused the service. I had to have that service done later in the official dealership of my car maker, and they confirmed, no rotors needed to be replaced. At the time I was picking up my vehicle, I've noticed, someone at the shop went through the middle console, everything there was upside down and misplaced, it looked like a mess, notepad I had there was stained with black oily fingerprints, and my white leather interior and seats had black oily marks all over them. It made me feel violated and grossed out. I was never asked a permission to go through my personal stuff in the middle console..., and definitely expected the shop employees to use seat liners and not to touch expensive white leather interior with the black oil on their hands. Observation - at the time I dropped my car, it was only 1 person at the counter and no one in the mechanical shop area. At around 10:30 am it was 1 mechanic, and at the time I picked up my car at around 1 pm it was 4(!) mechanics in the back and no cars to work on!!! I guess they were trying to make some money to pay those late workers... Never come there again!!! read more
