Yes. So know that going in and don't deduct stars because of the price. These items are not mass produced in China! They are heirloom quality, worth the investment if it's your style. This downtown store is gorgeous. It's large, spacious, and light filled with everything styled and displayed beautifully with each "category" of items located together making it easy to see and find everything. They have every style of blanket, throw, quilt, pillow - wow! Lots of clothing - the long hooded jackets are so beautiful, the patterns representing and named after various towns in Oregon. I'm definitely saving up for one in subtle earth tone shades of tan, brown and coral with hints of slate blue. Sweaters, rain jackets, t-shirts, fun ponchos and capes in a myriad of patterns and color palettes are available and we'll stocked. If you can't find your size, they will order inline and ship free. If you can't afford a large item but want something with their iconic pattern, they have coffee mugs, socks, tote bags, coasters, towels, bath accessories, beer cozies and more! The Yamhill Street location is much safer than the Chinatown location which I will no longer visit. Even though they keep the door locked while you are inside shopping, I don't feel comfortable parking my car in that area. The Yamhill location is right across from the back of Nordstrom's and the Fox Tower cinema. Easy access if taking Max or a parking garage right next door. Whenever I shop here, the service is welcoming and efficient. They let me browse at my leisure but they are available should I have any questions. Very nice downtown showroom right cross from Nordstrom. The glass door was locked, so I followed the sign on the door to knock the glass door to let the shop assistant know I'm here to shop (hahaha first thought it's funny, wondering what kind of business they are in). I was actually asked by my friend to pick up her orders here. So I told the staff in the shop. She is very careful about me picking up the merchandise, so I asked my friend to call in to confirm with her... Anyway no one is in the shop. And it seems she is very careful about Covid with her mask on all the time. So I gave up my idea of shopping and left immediately after picking up my friend's order. read more

Pendleton website, pendletoncatalog@penwool.com, changed their prices during check out. Raised prices considerably just before check out. I took pictures of the items I wanted while shopping so I could compare colors and noticed during check out the price switch. I contacted Pendleton customer service and they refused to help. I emailed pendletoncatalog@penwool.com 6 times, they never replied. I even contacted Pendleton on their facebook page and again, no help. I am shocked that during a pandemic like this, with people getting sick, passing away and others losing their jobs, Pendleton tried to cheat me, a long time customer and even other customers by changing prices during check out hoping you and me don't notice, to make more profit. I feel cheated and regret supporting this local business through the Pendleton web site. They never shipped an item and didn't refund one returned through their UPS RMA system. For nearly two months I've been contacting customer service and they haven't replied at all. You can't blame that kind of garbage service on Covid. The worst customer service I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. I ordered a few items in their online store several weeks ago. The most expensive item never arrived. So I called customer service for assistance. The individual on the line was incredibly rude, told me the lost package was my problem, and if I didn't like his attitude, not to do business with them in the future. Really??! Literally the WORST customer service I've ever experienced (Beside Spirit Airlines). Oh, and then he told me that he wasn't going to resend or refund the the item until UPS returned the lost package to Pendleton! So I said in that case I'd have to file a dispute with my credit card company, and he said to go ahead because he was the head of the fraud department and he would dispute my dispute. My wife & I came in here today hoping to do a one stop Christmas shopping spree for some family members & friends. Every item we pulled off a rack or shelf to buy was made in Taiwan, China, Vietnam or El Salvador. WTF!?!?!? Must be too much to ask of Pendleton to actually manufacture their own merchandise in their own Pendleton factory before they put their name on it and sell it in their own stores. So very happy that I checked the manufacture tags on all of the items before we purchased them. The only American made item we found that we wanted to purchase was a blanket, but the employee we spoke with couldn't be bothered to look in the store room to see if they had a particular pattern in king size. I had THE best experience here today and wanted to share some love. I've been a long time Pendleton fan for home items but have usually struggled to find the right fit in any women's clothing. My intent today was to return a gift but while I was in the store I was amazed at the variety of modern options (longer sleeves, more fitted, less boxy). I was helped by the most fabulous salesperson, Curtis, who was friendly and encouraging and even recommended a few "statement" pieces. I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything fit (bomber jackets, zip-up flannel hoodie, sweatshirts, knit sweaters, dress). Curtis helped me with sizing and really made the experience fun and affirming. He was so positive and genuinely seemed eager to help and style me. Thank you! read more

I love Pendleton products & was a faithful customer for years. Last summer I bought a 2-person towel online and then finally found out it shipped to the store in early November. It never showed to the store, I had to call them every few days to follow up (they did not take initiative to call me back to solve the problem). In the end, I BOUGHT the same towel at the store and cancelled my order online. This was way more complicated then it needed to be, took longer than it should have and the customer service always made me feel like I should feel lucky to be purchasing their products, not that I was a customer they cared about pleasing. We strolled in 10 minutes til closing on a warm summer night with fro-yo in hand with no intention of buying - and instead of being cold shouldered or shooed away, Curtis greeted us warmly and then proceeded to strike up a genuine conversation with us. Just one word "disappointing". In spite of the fact that we confirmed with a staff what time they close on Christmas Eve on the day, we weren't able to enter the store because they closed the store before the time they told us. It is alright to close the store earlier than the business hours they announce officially if it is not busy and understandable to close early. However, if they tell customers the time they close, they should keep the promise for their business. Because of their silly decision, we were not able to enter and buy anything for our Christmas gift. What an awkward business. Thank you for giving us such a miserable memory on Christmas. read more

I've heard about Pendleton for ages growing up in Oregon and my dad has worn their shirts for years, and when I walked in after an appointment I had downtown, I could not have been given any better of an experience. I was greeted by who I presume to be the manager, Michael and while he was busy tidying up was attentive and gave me a great welcome. I received a wool shirt as a belated birthday present that was originally purchased at the outlet store in Troutdale and hated the color. The gift receipt was 4 months old, yet I was able to return it here (with the tags still attached, of course) for store credit. Very helpful staff and customer service! Their wool products are top notch, and you will pay top dollar, but they can last a lifetime... Most of the non-wool products are imported, but still very nice. I chose a black cotton, Pendleton branded hoodie on a sale rack for $40 and love it. A small, Victorinox knife/multi-tool clad in a Pendleton pattern and logo rounded out my order. Pendleton is a great Oregon tradition and a company worth supporting. read more

My mom and I just had the greatest experience at Pendleton looking for a new blanket. Curtis helped us, and he could not have been nicer. We must have gone through half the blankets in the store. (All were beautiful. So many choices!) Curtis patiently and knowledgeably explained stories behind the different blankets and each of their different features. I have bought quality Pendleton products online for decades. I buy blankets for friends in Europe, and clothing for my husband and myself. This store should be a flagship, but it is a dump. I honestly think the clothes are seconds. It is a real shame. The people working there are nice, but they aren't helpful. They don't point out that there is a dressing room, which they should. The sizes are way off like cheaper imports are. I suggest that you try anything on that you want to buy here. This is not the same quality as you buy online. read more

I love Pendleton and have shopped with them many times. I called a different local location to ask if they had a particular blanket in store, and was told they don't and told to call this store instead. When I called, a very friendly gentleman took my credit card info and address and said he would ship the blanket to me. Stupidly, based on my trust of this company, I didn't ask him to email me a receipt or a confirmation. Two weeks later, no blanket. I call the store and after three calls (each time they said they'd call me back, and did), I was given a UPS tracking number and told my package was delivered last week. However I have absolutely no way to confirm what was in that package, causing UPS to literally chuckle when I called them. I am out $100 with no way to redeem myself because Pendleton couldn't be bothered to confirm my purchase. Additionally when I called the store manager repeatedly told me 1) how busy she was, 2) that perhaps someone in my neighborhood or mailman stole the package, 3) that this isn't her fault, and 4) that I should have bought online (no ish! But I trusted your store)! A store with more integrity would have provided at least store credit. I used to get Pendleton blankets for all special occasions, but can't bring myself to do so anymore. I'd recommend buying in person and not trusting them to send packages in a safe and trackable way. read more
