On our most recent visit, we had a check engine light came on, and a local automotive retailer ran the code as a purge valve issue. Here Bruce's ran a pressure test, and it came back negative. I took my Mercedes in for just minor service, oil and filter, inspection, etc. The very next day drove home and oil was everywhere, see photos attached. I was obviously pissed and called them and had it towed back. Caleb was calm and let me know he would take care of it. They put it on the lift, located the problem, fixed it, and cleaned up the mess in and around the engine. It was a brand new O-Ring installed on the oil filter that failed. It was one of the rare "shit happens" incidents. He even gave me some oil sand to take home to use to clean up my garage. My trust has been reestablished with an auto service shop. They have very competitive prices, especially compared to another shop in town, which I won't mention (but it rhymes with Judy's). They recently fixed my Dodge pick-up, took the time to thoroughly check it out, but didn't push any other repairs on me at all. Steve didn't even mention the things which I probably need done within a year until after he had totaled the bill for the work I had done. You can trust these guys. We recalled that we had gotten a repair from Rusty's years earlier, so we found the relocated shop. Leon put the car on a lift and in seconds removed the small rock inside the brake which solved the problem. Wonderful service! When I returned home I found the record of our harmonic balancer repair on the same car by Leon in August 2006 in a hand-written note. Our car had died in the Red Lion parking lot and Leon had insisted that he would tow our car to the shop for fear of driving it might cause serious damage. We then left our car in Pt Angeles while we rented a car and went camping for 3 days at Shi Shi Beach. When we returned Leon had repaired our car and we still have it!
