Penn Pizza Palace on Mt. Ephraim ave.,Camden NJ is the worst pizza restaurant I've Ever!!! been to. The owner/cook attempted to give me a pizza that was previously used. I called a pizza order in and when I arrived I witnessed him adding pepperoni on a old pizza and attempted to give it to me. I was so disgusted that I walked out without even arguing about receiving a refund. Just so you understand..this was a pizza that came off of a previous customers table. A dead bug in my pizza box ... called they said I gotta wait 40 min for another pizza so I said just refund me bc it's 10pm, my daughter has to get to bed. She says I still have to wait 40 minutes for my refund. I asked for the manager, she said she was the manager because I did not wait to wait until almost 11pm on a weeknight to get a refund on my purchase. I could tell by the way she was handling she was NOT the manager. & sure enough she proceeded to tell me to wait until morning for my refund & call & ask for the manager then ... all because they delivered me a pizza with a dead bug in it. read more

This is the first if two Penn Palace Pizza is in downtown Camden (where they have the well known crab bisque, Ill get into that another time) The one I came to is on Mt Ephraim Ave. Not too far distance wise from my current residence. Pizza was being made fresh as I arrived, which is always the best way food should be fixed, prepared, and served. I asked for three plain slices for my family members. It. Was. This was mafmde with just the right balance of cheese and sauce. The crust was as delicious as the rest of the . I got to taste it and instantly wanted a whole pie myself. Pizza dowen here is hit or miss. Your either making pizza that people will come back to or your not and Penn Palace Pizza is doing the former. Negatives: Are we in 2018 already? We still need a key to gain access to the bathroom? Oh, and dont try to use the restroom and your not a customer. It's always so good and delicious, they give a good portion of tender chicken the broccoli is soft the fettuccine is superb and the Alfredo sauce is out of the world. We have been ordering from Penn Pizza Palace for the past few years and have generally been satisfied with some slip ups here and there. They will absolutely not refund or fix any mistakes they make if they deliver a wrong order. However we have usually made the most of it, grudgingly. Tonight they took it to a new level and unfortunately we will not be ordering from here again. We ordered one of the more expensive dishes, pasta with white clam sauce. They called us back after to verify what kind of pasta we wanted and we reiterated pasta with white clam sauce. Well, it was delivered... with meatballs and sausage mixed in!! And the extra charge that went with them. We called them back and told them a mistake was made, since no one would order meatballs and sausage in with their clam sauce. So gross. And they refused to admit they made a mistake. Putting us out $20 for something that wasn't evil edible. Never again. read more

Got a plate of fettuccini alfredo with chicken and shrimp best believe I ate the whole plate it was really good, also had a slice of pizza and some wings since our group was pretty big, there is plenty of seats and didn't take that long for the food to come out. read more

Good slice, good people. It was a pretty standard slice, but the cashier was nicer than average. I ordered a house salad and it was pretty terrible but I probably should have know better. For delivery service in this neck of the woods, you can't ask for anything better. Nice staff, on time (if not altogether fast), reasonable costs, and really pretty good food! Food was HORRIBLE!!!! I purchased a Stromboli and it was raw and doughy. I called to tell them and their response was for me not to order the Stromboli anymore...No exchange or refund.
