Ordered 2 entrees with a fry, fry didn't come and no notice given. Then, the fry was made and visibly on the fry shelf and left sitting there several minutes while employees continued to talk to one another. My husband had to go up and ask for our fry AGAIN, after we were both finished with full sandwiches. They offered him a free small fry coupon however this coupon expired 6 months ago. We once again went back up to the counter and said this coupon won't work because it's expired. When they saw us up there, my husband saw one employee make a comment to another basically complaining that we were up at the register again, and then an employee walked over and said they'll let us use it if she initials it. However, this is not our main Penn station location so how will that be valid anywhere else. Needless to say we won't be using that coupon because we are not coming back to this location. read more

This is my favorite Penn Station location in NKY. Ive never had any issues here and the service has been really good. They're following all the social distancing guidelines and I felt pretty safe getting food here. Can't go wrong with the classic Italian salad! read more

I visited this Penn Station today and asked if they had chicken salad because I order this at the Penn Station in Pikeville, Ky. The employees did not know what chicken salad was. They said they could put chicken on a lettuce salad. I ordered the Italian club. It tasted alright, but the Italian dressing tasted like only pure vinegar. read more

I placed a Door Dash order for pick up and got a notification that the restaurant had confirmed my order and was preparing it, but when I arrived the restaurant was closed and there was a sign on the door stating they closed due to a staff shortage. The sign said they closed at 7pm, yet my order was confirmed at around 8pm. When I called Door Dash to cancel and get a refund, they said some restaurants have their DD account set up to automatically accept orders. I understand the issues restaurants are facing with staffing, but please notify Door Dash if you will not be open to accept orders. read more

The sandwich was supposed to be plain, meat and cheese, but got back to work and it was loaded with tomato, lettuce and onions that I specifically did not want! We got 4 subs, five drinks and five fries and it was $79. The food was decent but barely enough. There wasn't barely any meat on the sandwiches. They messed up our order and they let me stand there while they chatted with each other before they turned around and acted as though I was a nuance. Mind you there was only two other people that were there to eat. I stated we did not receive one fry and they seemed upset and three people had to look at our recipe and ask me how many I received like I was lying. Hadn't been in this location in awhile, and I won't be back. The employees were rude, and more concerned with talking to each other than waiting on the guests. We got orders to go and my mothers fries were burnt to a crisp. She couldn't even eat them, and none of them were over 2-3 inches. All small broken pieces, looked like scraps thrown in a cup. There were several employees talking and being very loud. I couldn't even hear the guy at the register. Just seemed very unprofessional and the dining area was in shambles. Someone should've been cleaning it instead of horsing around. Hate to say it, but the Penn Station in downtown Cincinnati is better than right where I live. read more

Went on 4/15/2020 and normally it doesn't take long, but it took 1 hour!! No one told us they were going to take that long when taking the order, so we waited a bit inside, but with the social distancing there were too many people doing the same thing inside!!! Don't get me wrong the food is pretty good but they will rip you off. I will order a large cheese steak with extra meat. If you add any veggies they remove some of the meat. WTF? I recently started working in the Florence area and have visited this location 2 times. I will not return! During my first visit, the store was filthy. Every table was dirty and the floor was covered in mud. I would understand if they were busy and didn't have anyone to clean the dining area, but they were slow. I visited the restroom while there and it was just as nasty. I tried it again today and it was not any better. The store was a little cleaner but my food quality was poor. I love Penn Station, but I will stick with the ones in Amelia and Beechmont Ave in Ohio where their management takes care of their store. read more

The food is always good, it's prepared in a good amount of time. But the past three times I've come here the employees have a very bad attitude. When I had paid for my food and standing by the register, one of the employees said to me rudely, "Are you waiting for somthing?" After that when my food was ready, he pretty much tossed the bag of food next to me and didn't even say have a good day or what so ever. Best sandwich place ever. This place is like goodburger or some shit. Come in during the day and you're in for jokes, seeing your cooks having fun and chill ass conversation. Ask the guy with the beard (his name is jack) to recommend you shit. He knows what the fuck is up. One downside is that the place echos like a bitch, and a lot of times you cant hear shit in the whole goddamn building over the sound of cooking, radio and other jackasses tryna yell over the noise.
