Been to many First Watch locations here in Cincinnati. The Green Two location is probably the newest and best location. Plenty of parking and the service was fast and attending. They work really hard to get you in and seated. If you're here after 9:30 on a Sunday, expect to wait however. The food is always good without a doubt. My only negative is the prices are crazy. Spending $60 for breakfast for two people is hard to swallow for me. I'm sorry, maybe I'm not a big breakfast food person and don't see the value. read more

My friend and I stopped by this First Watch for lunch and while the food itself was decent -- I had the Avocado Toast, and she ordered the Belgian Waffle -- the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by some very odd behavior from our waitress. At first, we didn't think much of it, but she was acting unusually friendly with a man sitting at another table -- laughing a little too loudly, lingering, and just generally behaving in a way that felt unprofessional. My friend, who's never been one to shy away from asking questions, politely asked the gentleman if he knew her. To our shock, he quietly explained that she was on one of "those" websites -- and even showed us the page on his phone! We were absolutely stunned and disgusted. What made it worse was watching this same waitress interact with a sweet little girl at another table, handing her a sticker and chatting with her like nothing was amiss. It just left a terrible taste in our mouths. A restaurant like this should feel wholesome and family-friendly, not... whatever this was. The food was fine, but the atmosphere was completely soured by the whole situation. We won't be rushing back anytime soon. read more

The First Watch on Harrison Ave is going down hill! Food quality has diminished and service getting less efficient and less friendly. This morning the server we had was nonchalant and had to be asked three times to bring water to our table. Our server was Jayda and we where beyond disappointed with our entire experience we saw her 3 times! throught our hour or two there entire time she was very unfriendly never checked on us and I saw her grab her vape from her purse way more than she even looked at us we got 2-3 bites in and she gave us the check and we never saw her again we didn't get a single refill from her our water thing was empty most of our breakfast I had a problem with my food that I never got the chance to express because she never came back or even walked by she was in the kitchen talking the whole time it wasn't busy and she MIGHT have had a single other table she didn't even offer us boxes we had to flag down the host just to order something Togo to replace the bad item and get boxes Jayda is the worst server I have had in my life and I am extremely disappointed with my experience and would never recommend this to anyone read more

A brunch restaurant, they have a good variety to select from featuring a mix of both breakfast and lunch faire. Staff is very accommodating and there is always a crowd. Usually you have to wait but generally the line moves fast. read more

Don't know why some restaurants can't do one simple thing of pre-heating their serving plates so your food isn't cold by the time you actually eat it (especially breakfast!). Both our orders were barely warm and the food was actually cold by the time you got to the third bite. My toast wasn't warm enough to melt the butter. At over $50 for breakfast for two (including tip) I think we would had been better off at McDonalds. We're done going to First Watch for now. read more

We love First Watch for family breakfast so we tried this location and had a great experience. Our waitress was awesome. The food was delicious. We had a round table with enough space for our family of 7 without feeling cramped. Everyone enjoyed their food. The restaurant is clean and bright. Literally, no complaints. Walked in, heating i guess was out..ventilation fans all over dining area. My seating was cold, they could not move us, floor blower from heating unit blowing white ish type dust on food, not powdered sugar..decaf coffee was terrible..asked for small oj, server brought large..doughnut holes great, floor manager too busy talking to other customers. I guess regulars, check out made no accommodations on check other than not charging for weak dishwasher coffee. Service in kenwood and Oakley is great...Harrison not so much..won't be back total bill was approx $30 . read more

If you're looking for a quality, Sunday brunch hot-spot, this place is it! Arrived about 10Am and was promptly seated. It's called First Watch and this place should be among your first choices of breakfast dining. Many of their dishes seem to be designed for a more health-conscious diet with fresh fruit, granola, and avocado as some of the featured ingredients but they do have the classics like chocolate chip pancakes and meaty omelettes. Everything we had was delicious and seasoned-well. Service was extremely prompt and our waitress was friendly. The atmosphere was upbeat and clean. It seemed like most people were reeling from their morning Java or just excited for the upcoming Bengals game. Either way, this restaurant was a perfect place to grab a little grub and I look forward to trying another one of their mid-morning scrambles. read more

Nice place for an easy breakfast or brunch. The usual staples taste good (eggs, pancakes, bacon) and they offer quinoa dishes, skillet hashes, etc. The chain overall is good with accommodating food allergies (we haven't had any issues yet with peanut or tree nuts), and overall this location had ample seating on a Sunday at 9am. The food was cooked well and came out quickly, and our waiter was attentive. This place is definitely one of the first places we hit up when we are in town. read more

This location should be renamed last watch. What happened first watch? I used to love getting breakfast from your Rookwood location, unfortunately today I decided to try DoorDash for a brunch order. The omelet I ordered was cold as ice. Typically for an omelette you sauté the filling before adding it to the omelette, guess the chefs here forgot that lesson seeing as the onions, ham, and mushrooms were uncooked cold as if they were tossed into the omelet from the fridge. The tomatoes somehow never made it into the omelet, but were strewn around the packaging. I'm also disappointed in the odd decision to butter to go toast. Never butter toast to go, send a little container or packet of butter to allow the customer to butter their own toast if they wish. If you want to market yourself as an upper middle class breakfast location then your quality needs to meet your pricing otherwise people like me would rather spend less getting breakfast elsewhere. I've always been a huge fan of First Watch and this location wont let you down! Plenty of great options for all dietary needs. I'm a fan of the omelettes, million dollar bacon, and the bacon lettuce tomato sandwich with eggs on it. The only reason I didn't go with 5* is that it's a bit overpriced for the amount of food you could get at other restaurants. However, the food is very earthy, organic, and is worth paying extra for a fantastic meal. The staff at this location were super accommodating and pleasant. I came to celebrate one of my staff getting a promotion and we went all out. Grate place to splurge and still feel like you're eating healthy. The morning meditation (drink) is one of my new favorites to enjoy as one of those splurges. read more

This place is too expensive! Can't afford it! Food is very good but portions have gotten smaller. My friends and I have stopped meeting here because of prices being so high. First, we stopped ordering drinks because of the price. But then overall the expense got to be too much. We are retired and our money only goes so far. The restaurant itself is very nice and I like the atmosphere. Service was usually good. My husband also won't go. He had been complaining for over a year about the prices. I realize everything is going up but soon restaurants are going to be pricing themselves out of business. read more

This wonderful location serves fresh and organic meals during the early hours of the day, with every bite offering tastes that will help you rise and power you through a difficult day. While the main menu is stable, the seasonal one changes every few months, offering something festive and different, to match the year. What is also special about this First Watch is the staff; they are gregarious and jubilant - you can tell each and every one of them love their job. We liked the First Watch we ate at yesterday so much we decided to eat here again, with different food choices. Like the other location, their restaurant had socially distanced tables and I felt perfectly comfortable. The wait staff had on masks, and I even saw the host wiping off menus. KUDOS. We were promptly seated, and Amanda helped me make a choice between the AM Superfoods Bowl and the Sunrise Granola Bowl - We decided to try the Million Dollar bacon, one of their special sides. Hubby chose The Works omelet. I chose the AM Superfoods Bowl. (I decided to take the plunge and taste some things I never had before, namely coconut milk chia seed pudding and almond butter). Drinks: coffee and orange juice. My bowl was actually good. There was a little too much of the chia pudding, but the combination of flavors make this a really sweet dish. The granola was great and needed to give the bowl different textures. The only thing I did not like was the almond butter. It tastes a lot like peanut butter, but I don't want that on my breakfast toast. I had it replaced with regular wheat toast which was delicious. It's like a wheatberry toast and has texture. Hubby liked his omelet and everything tasted so fresh. Total was $36 before tip. read more

I'd never been to this particular location. But it's near home and has its own parking lot, so it seemed like a good one to try. We visited one busy weekend morning. Luckily it was just early enough to not have a terrible wait. They told us twenty minutes for a family of four, but it ended up only being about five. We ordered a few different things to share. The chickichanga was something I had tried once and remembered liking, so hubby and I ordered that to share. So glad we did because it was awesome - definitely a favorite I'll return to again! We also got banana granola pancakes and a waffle for the table. The bites of pancake with the caramelized granola were the best! But I think I liked the waffle even better - it was amazingly fluffy and absorbed the butter and syrup in the most perfect way. We also made sure to get a side of Goetta. It's actually not listed on the menu, but I saw a plate of it delivered to another table and asked about getting one for us. This location is one we would return to. Boy oh boy, a First Watch is exactly what the West Side NEEDED and this new(ish) location has been so convenient! They are consistently busy, no matter what day of the week you visit, so make sure you take advantage of the wait list option on Yelp to cut down on your wait time towards deliciousness. The decor could be described as a modern twist on country. There are multiple chalkboards, a stunning amount of Edison lightbulbs, and it has an open, airy feel. I ordered the Trifecta. I had ordered my eggs over medium, and they came out more over easy, but this commonly happens. The blueberry pancake had just the right amount of blueberries and a good thickness. The showstopper for me was the millionaires bacon. The bacon was thick cut and crusted in brown sugar and cracked pepper. It was to die for. I am very disappointed that it is a summer menu item. The only negative I can report is the service was quite slow. Our waitress didn't even come to take our order for 20 minutes. This is my husband's favorite place to eat breakfast. We stopped in this morning. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately . All tables are spaced out for proper social distancing. Our server, Kris, gave us friendly, prompt attention. My husband commented that she is an excellent server. He ordered his usual of blueberry pancakes with compote. I ordered the works omlet. I tried to give them a chance at takeout. I've liked their food but not the service in the past but hadn't been back since covid. I love the chia seed pudding breakfast. It came in a to-go cup - not a to-go bowl or container but a cup. One scoop of flavorless chia seed pudding with a few pieces of fruit and two chunks of granola for $10. I only ate a few bites. The kids parfait came in a kids to-go cup with no granola. My kids wouldn't eat any of it. Everything was lacking flavor and for the cost I expect so much more. My single pancake was fine , as usual the sugar free syrup had about 2 tablespoons of syrup. What really caught my eye was instead of the usual two breakfast sausages, there was just one. I figured I guess if you only order one pancake they now assume you only want one sausage. This sort of played on my mind while I ate, so when the check came I glanced at the folded check (which I have never done before) and saw $14.50+. Upon closer examination I see that my side order of sausage (1) was just under $5.00. So I asked the girl if that was correct for just one sausage. She looked bewildered and just said yes, thinking that maybe she didn't understand, so I said you're telling me two breakfast sausages with my pancake would be a $10.00 add on. She said yes. OMG I freaking love it here. It's really hard to find healthy and good tasting food in Cincinnati. Especially on the Westside!! Especially for breakfast!! It's super clean, the decor is cute, we got seated quickly even though there was a wait, and our server was attentive. I got the Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl which was flippin' delicious and didn't make me feel like I had to go lay down afterward (which most carb filled breakfast usually does to me). It had crimini mushrooms, sausage and a bunch of other great stuff. I also got the coffee and filled my pumpkin spice quota for the day with a little bit of pumpkin creamer. Their coffee is also pretty good for house coffee. My friend got the pumpkin pancakes, and orange and beet juice w/ ginger and tumeric called "Morning Meditation". It looks like a Tequila Sunrise minus the liquor and is pretty tasty. This was an A+ experience all around. read more
