Love the food but can't stomach politics on television. Won't be coming back because of that

It's 8:30 pm and store closes at 9:00 pm - walked in to place an order and was told in an unfriendly manner they were not taking any more orders!! The store is OPEN until 9:00!! When asked "why" the girl just said they were closing early!! RIDICULOUS!! UNACCEPTABLE!! read more

Awesome sub sandwiches! Location: Convenient location for the Indiana folks! Food: I enjoyed the chicken cordon bleu sub. I love that this sub place cooks the meat so that way you have a hot sub. They have a wide selection of subs and they come in a few sizes. The French fries were decent and the lemonade was refreshing. Ambiance: The place is clean and staff was friendly. There is a bathroom inside. Overall, I will definitely be back when I'm around here for vacation. read more

The manager was rude and aggressive. She seemed annoyed by having customers. Also, the portions have gotten really small.

I called to place a pickup order from the Rybolt Rd exit. He told me to hold and sat the phone down. I listened to them take order after order. I pulled in a parking space and went and told them they could hang up the phone. I walked in and there were 5 people standing behind the counter, no one at the register. If the red shirt was the manager, she wasn't pleasant, asked my name twice and seemed to not care I had been waiting on the phone for 15 minutes. The guy that rang me up didn't say say two words, I put my card in and he just turned around and walked away. Not one of them smiled or greeted me in any way. The sandwich was all meat and lots of it, very little cheese,I asked for extra onion, no mushrooms and there were hardly any when I got home. Not sure why I go back there now and then. This is actually my first review I have ever left on yelp as I travel every week and understand if there may be bad service or something is over cooked etc, but today was a new low and it prompted me to create an account and leave a review. Today I ordered a sandwich at this location and before taking the first bite noticed something in my sandwich, so I pulled a strand of lettuce out and attached to this was a green WORM. This restaurant is filthy. I had vowed never to return to this location due to how unsanitary it was, however we love the food so much we were willing to give them another try. Firstly, why would you have a clear plastic divider for social distancing and not clean it? It was gross. The plastic ice bucket on the counter looked like it has never been washed. We watched how the second sandwich station would pull out cheese slices and bacon and lay then across a dirty cutting board as she waited for the sandwiches to come off the grill. The workers wear plastic gloves, but I wonder for who's protection. Sadly we won't be returning. read more

What's not to love about a 5,000 calorie sandwich? Okay, so maybe it's not that many, but it's a whole bunch... and it tastes like Disney Land going off in my mouth. Any place that starts off with the meat... and then slaps a quarter pound of butter onto the griddle on top... well that's the culinary equivalent to watching live human chess on pay per view... okay so they don't do that either, but IF THEY DID... oh man look out... My alltime favorite sandwich here is the chicken teryaki with extra cheese... oh yessssss..... foot longer please... and the best part? Natural handcut fries. Dayummmm!! with FRESH SQUEEZED LEMONADE!!! Move out of my way, I gotta eat. My standby is the pizza sub too... it's pretty good, especially with extra cheese.... see a pattern here? I have a cheese fetish.... I'm Italian, whadda' you want from me? Now the downside is that it's not wallet friendly. I can't get out of the place for less than $10, which makes it a fairly pricey everyday lunch. But for a now-and-then sort of thing, it's in the top of the top list for fast food for me. read more

The fries are good - and as a bonus they offer vinegar as a condiment, which is how it should be. I ordered a cheese steak. It was reeeeeally greasy, unnecessarily so. The flavor was bland too, as if the beef wasn't seasoned when it went on the grill, which would be...wrong. The cheese was kind of flavorless. I wasn't looking for the most mind blowing cheese steak ever - surly not from a chain around Cinci/Indy, but it did make me a little sad, because it wasn't that great at all. If I can separate the un-cheese steak-ness of the sandwich and order something else, i could see eating at this chain again. Like I said, I could eat those fries all day (especially if they added old bay) That said, the staff here was really nice and the service was fairly quick. read more

The sandwiches here are awesome. The fries are the best in Harrison. The service is great, fast & my sandwich is always made exactly like I ask. However, the place is just not too clean. read more

The Harrison Penn Station is my all time favorite Penn Station in America. The employees there are so friendly, especially Rhagan, who cashed my friend and me out and was so polite and sweet. Love this place. They have the best sanwiches around. The philly cheese steak as the best outside of philly that I can find. All the food is amazing though, and the staff very friendly. Worth the 45 minute drive. Sadly the parking lot is a little awkwardly laid out and is a shared lot. read more

The food here is not bad, although.. the service here is quite concerning. I went to this Penn Station location tonight with my friend and we were yelled at by a woman with dark brown hair, named Kelly, that we were not allowed to sit in the back of the restaurant because they were closing of the booth section, yet we only were going to sit in that section because another woman was sweeping the front section. This happened at 9:30 at night yet the restaurant did close for another hour and a half. although, that is not the worst part of my experience here, the staff here that are supposed to be grown-ups yell throughout the restaurant talking about their every day lives . The woman named Kelly complained about her chronic back pain the entire time we sat down to eat. and later said that someone had eaten her sandwich she made for herself and that she was going to murder them for it, which in my opinion is not something any grown staff member should say while on shift, and especially if they are going to yell it through the entire place. I do not recommend this location at all, not a good environment to sit down and eat at without being interrupted by a yelling staff member. I would give this location 0 stars but unfortunately that isn't an option. read more
