Two years later and I am back, and let me tell you something: it's the exact same. You walk in, and go up to the counter, and the employees look at you like, "What the hell do you want?" That said, the club is still the best club sub you can get. The fries are still awesome. This time they screwed my order up, and I didn't realize it until I left. By the time I came back to get what was missing, they already had it fixed, along with a free cookie, and they were genuinely apologetic. My wife goes to lunch at 3:30, works from home, and I was out so she decided to use her Grub Hub gift cards to order Penn Station for pickup. She set the pickup at 3 and sent me the info. She then sent me a picture and said they'd already started making it at 1:41 pm for pickup at 2:20. I went in around 2:30 and saw them bagged up and sitting on a table, getting cold. I talked to a woman and asked her why it was made so early. She looked in the bag, I'm presuming at the tickets taped to the sandwiches that clearly said 3 pm, then she said "Did you order them for pickup at 3?" THEN she said "Well at least they're still warm." I just stared at her. She then looked over at the two other women there, who I'm assuming make the sandwiches since they were standing near the grill. She just looked at them then back at me and shrugged. Some of the reviews complain about angry employees. I didn't experience that at all. The employees were "normal". Not particularly friendly, but not angry either. And the food was excellent. I always get the Philly Cheesesteak, and this was especially good. Even better than the Penn Stations that I'm used to in Cincinnati. read more

The fries. They're to live for. So live for the fries. The sandwiches are great. I recently realized I could substitute the steak in cheesesteak with chicken and I am hooked. The only downside I have is price and size. For over $10 you can get a regular sized sub. A large is $14. Meat and bread should not cost so much - and I shouldn't be so lazy. All that considered I believe the regular is worth about $8 and I also know they'd make more money with prices that are affordable. Meanwhile, this is our family's way of giving back to local small business and restaurants during the pandemic. We will keep ordering as long as the food is hot, fresh, and made with love as it has been every time thus far. My son loves the Reuben. It's pretty interesting because that's all I craved when I was pregnant with him and this is the first place he's ever had one with and literally requests one every time I order. I just can't bring myself to pay $15 for a large sandwich- which is what he deserves. The smallest sub really shouldn't be an option. It's way too small for anybody over 13 years old. read more

Have been going to multiple Penn Station locations for years. Not the best cheesesteak in Ohio but right up there. I think submarine house makes the best. My favorite sandwiches here are the teriyaki chicken and Rueben. They also have really good French fries with skin on. They offer malt vinegar with the fries if you like that. Ordered 2 ham turkey bacon sub. It was delish. The bread had a nice crunch yet soft on the inside. The meat & condiments were well organized. The sandwiches did not get sloppy. I recommend this sandwich shop. It definitely will hit the spot. read more

The cook kept wiping the persperat ion from his brow with his latex gloves and then continue cooking the steak. The manager was running back and forth behind the counter loudly conversing with the cook. She had no cloves on and continued to handle her dirty phone just prior to wraping our sandwiches. I protested concerning the lack of safety measures taken, like washing your hands after using cell phone and then wraping our sandwiches with dirty hands. Let me start off my review by saying I love Penn Station. But this location has some of the worst sandwiches. I have tried this location twice and both times my sandwich has been swimming in liquid by the time I get home. Fist time in the door I will be back. I had the Philly sub sandwich. 6" meal came with plenty of fries and for the $10 it was more than sufficient for lunch. Kind of small sitting area at this location near a high school so I am sure it has moments of surge traffic.
