Actually quite happy with our last visit. Unfortunately the fryer was down and they did not have any fries but the sandwiches more than made up for it. There only seemed to have been very few staff but the ones there were very helpful. It's too bad the location is where it's at. I don't think it's in a great place and that, I would imagine, is a very big negative to what could be good business. The food is just on par with what you'd expect from Penn Station. We were there for a good twenty minutes and they had not a single other customer and no one to pick up delivery orders. Such a shame. We will continue to come back. read more

Stopped in on a Sunday as I was wanting a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and well figured i would give this establishment a try finally. Sadly I can't say it is any better than Charlys at the mall. The sandwich was very greasy and honestly thats all I could taste, left me with a very bad feeling in my stomach for most of the evening thank goodness for antacids. The fries were overly salty and also badly greasy. Sorry folks 2 stars is me being kind here as I know so many people like this place. For me though its a no thank you for the future. read more

Multiple evenings when calling they just refuse to answer the phone. Place an online order. Multiple employees asked, but refused to give owner information or corporate information for complaints. They didn't have fries prepared for an evening rush, but had plenty of potatoes and fryers ready. When asked why no fries are prepared the employees complain about not having enough time to even use the restroom then proceed to stand around and try to look busy. read more

Each fry was what you would get out of a frozen bag of French fries . . . at the bottom. Take them back to counter . . . associate informs me they cannot replace them . . . beyond shocked. Terrible experience tonight. We ordered one sub with no mushrooms and one with mushrooms. They couldn't tell us which one had mushrooms when they gave us our order so we just listened to the tickets and I ate the one that said it had mushrooms and my husband ate the one that had no mushrooms. Two bites into his sandwich he takes a huge bite of mushrooms. I've already eaten half of my sandwich that I ate a few mushrooms on. So he went up and asked for a new sandwich. The guy proceeded to laugh and accuse us of switching the sandwiches and accuses me of eating the one that said no mushrooms. He goes over to the guy making the sandwiches and explaining with a nasty smirk on his face so we just requested a refund. Terrible customer service and the guy wouldn't stop laughing. read more

I go here about once a week. The owner needs to look after this store more actively. Today I tried calling 3 times for pickup order and no one answered. Upon arriving, there were 4 people working and the store wasn't that busy. Upon pulling my order off the printer the grill guy hummed the McDonalds jingle, but instead of "I'm lovin it" he exclaimed "I hate this place" This place always has a different crew working so consistency is an issue. There seems to be a mix of great service and those who don't care at all. The HVAC was condensing on the seating area and a dirty rag was hanging from the cooling unit in the ceiling. This has been going on for a while and is gross. I'll be adjusting down the frequency of my visits and looking for alternatives. read more

Being a huge fan of sandwiches and having worked here and Quiznos, this is without a doubt my favorite place to get a sandwich. So delicious. And the lemonade is homemade so you know it's good. It gets pretty busy during lunch but that's to be expected. They also have good sandwich deals a lot. I got a free 6" today with my sandwich. Philly and Italian are my faves while the sausage and pizza are also great. read more

I never had an eastcoast sub. So if Penn Station is close to being as good as east coast subs then I can't wait to go to the eat coast and try one. I always say i'm going to try something else but I stick to the classic philliy cheesesteak with everthing minus the mustrad. The fries are cut from whole potatoes. After we finally got helped by a boy named Jake, Scott helped us pay but he ended up charging us for food we didn't even order. When I went up to get a refund he refused to help me. I have a mushroom allergy. I get a sandwich that does not come with mushrooms, still my husband is thorough and orders everything no mushrooms. Well, this visit he came home and gave me my food and immediately sick. Full of mushrooms, as was every sandwich. Called the mgr., told him one wanted refund, one replaced, the other I would have to check and let him know. I had clients arrive, would have to do so after my appt. After my client left, i called to get replacement and refund of food, I was told they would have to let me know. My husband went up there, and was told 2 sandwiches and 2 fries were being replaced thats all he was approved to do. He told my husband there were 2 tickets. My husband showed him there were 3 in the bag. He said just refund it all. He said he did but shorted us $10 refund. I called up there and the guy immediately had an attitude. I was VERY RUDELY told the mg. was busy. I said I would wait. He got on the phone and asked about the tax being refunded (my husband thought it was that). He told me no, it was (all #'s rounded) $42, $3 tax, total $45. I then began explaining my conv. w/the mgr. ealier and he UDELY interrupted me said I have to get back to work. WOW! I got off the phone, pulled up my bank statement and sure enough, they lied to both my husband and I. I find that appalling, to lie to a customers face about their money...SO i called back, upset and a lady answer. She acted as if she could help me. NOPE! Liar as well. She told me it was the $1.50 for the extra product and for some reason their system doesn't auto refund that. I asked her to look up the receipt to which she said once refunded we cant see it anymore. Okay, so how did your "manager" just read off to me the sub total, tax, and total after it was refunded? I hung up. I was in mgmt. in the food ind. 10 years, never would a customer be treated that way, especially after being told a customer with an allergy, who specifically asked for their meal NOT to have this item on it ,was given their food with it on there....and made by the manager (who told me it was him who made it) and that they took a bite and got sick. They should be doing anything I ask of them right now after they could have killed me! Im livid right now.. Very deceptive practices here, and the employees are thieves, plain and simple.They aren't refunding me the original sandwich they said they would. i don't know why. My husband ate something else and didn't eat it. Even if he did ,we had to drive all the way back up there to get a replacement for their mistake, and they damn near could have killed me if I hadn't gotten sick and vomited the mushrooms up. To be treated this was is absolutely unacceptable! Shame on them, shame on Tommy and his crew. They deserve to have their jobs taken for being so careless with peoples lives, even more so for caring so little about how careless they are being. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. Presented a coupon at the register (which I very seldom do) after ordering and the attendant refused take it. Apparently I had ordered the wrong size sandwich to make the coupon valid. I had actually ordered a larger sandwich to pay for which me at that they were actually getting more than the value of the coupon. I asked that since they hadn't started making the sandwiches to modify the order so that the coupon is valid. She refused to make the correction and processed the order. I asked that she consult one of the other employees who we recognized and has served us very professionally on several occasions. But this employee (tall heavy set black woman with short hair) was too lazy to even ask the other employees and spoke very rude and unprofessional to me. I asked once again to speak with one of the other employees to rectify the matter but she again refused, turned her back and walked away while I was still standing g at the register. I took it upon myself to walk down to speak with the employee I recognized and explain the situation to her. (Dark hair with glasses). She offered to correct order and accept the coupon because she knew that we are frequent customers. But as soon as she said that, the other employee who took the order (lady with blue and purple hair) interjected and said no we're not changing the order and was extremely rude. We are regulars at this location, at least once a week, but will no longer be coming back. Save your time and money. There are plenty of other places in the area with good customer service. It's a shame because most all of the other employees and the store manager are always polite and courteous. read more

This is the first time I've eaten at a Penn Station- and the last. Both sandwiches had the smallest possible amount of #1 tuna and #2 turkey and cheese. Both were tasteless. They don't even offer yellow mustard, so we asked to skip mustard altogether but they put honey mustard on anyway. The person taking our order was completely clueless so another had to assist and he didn't take off his gloves to use the register and went right back to making food in them. We had to wait 10 minutes for 2 cold sandwiches with no one in front of us. I paid $15 for the mess and didn't finish it. Didn't even get kissed on this one... read more

This location is wonderful! As my fiancé lives nearby and we enjoy Penn Station, we frequent it. The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. The quality of the food is excellent. While it is not cheap by any means, the prices are not completely unreasonable and the food is worth the price. I will continue to frequent this location. read more
