Once was an awesome place, but lately, my orders are off and the fries are no longer the delight they were a year ago. I used to order online and they would make the fries when I came to pick them up now I get what is laying there already made and that means it is usually cold by the time I make the 3-mile drive home. I used to love the lemonade but the last half gallon I got with my order was diluted and nearly tasteless. I might try it again when my memory fades or not. Penn Station is an upscale sandwich shop. Better than Subway. On par with Potbelly. They do have an advantage as they offer fresh French fries, which are incredible. Soft, tasty and delicious. They melt in your mouth. I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich and it hit the spot. Tender chicken. Fresh bread. Melted cheese. I love hot sandwiches, but loathe cold ones. Penn Station appropriately toasted that bad boy. The interior is nice. A lot of dark wood and ample seating. The lighting was relaxed, too. You don't feel like you're slumming it if you eat at Penn Station. I'll be back! read more

Erratic closing hours not communicated to public. 5 times recently, I've called to confirm what time they are open 'til. Then we go when they're open and find a note on door they closed. Don't know how they can stay in business which is not good because their Philly cheesesteak is the best in town. Devise a system where the right information is given to employees who in turn relay that info to customers. If you're gonna close @ 4, don't tell me you're open 'til 8. Confirm closing time with other employees and give your customers the correct info. Also, update you web page hours. They say you're open 'til 10 which is not correct at all. How you gonna keep customers if you consistently give out incorrect info???? If it happens to us again, we will probably stop going to Penn Station altogether. read more

The Good: Bread and food are very good. Bread 5/5 and amount and quality of food put in bread 4/5. Lemonade is 5/5 The Bad: Penn Station should be renamed to "Tiny Tube Sub Shop" My sub (12" Club) was a 12" long egg roll. A lot smaller than expected, and it's a little over 10$ with tax. Expensive and you pay a lot for a little amount of food. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but didn't satisfy. read more

This was really good and really quick tonight. They had a new guy taking orders but the manager helped him right through everything and got us all set quick. The club sub was piping hot and the fries were fantastic... with malt vinegar and ketchup! The place was really clean and seemed to be well run. My 13 year old said he was impressed with how fast he got his food so it could be instantly devoured. read more

So...if you would like to wait 24 minutes for one sub and then have the manager who was puking in the back touch your food...come here I at 20 minutes of waiting for my one sub asked the guy that was cooking if he was going to be done soon. The manager (Christian) decides he would roll out of the back after throwing up (which everyone could hear) and tell me I needed to have compassion. The reason being he was sick and throwing up every 5 seconds. He proceeded to argue with me telling me the guys were new (1 month) and that the other guy "doesn't work like that"..like what? A normal pace? After 20+ minutes of waiting he informed me that he was going to give me my sandwich for free but I was arguing with him....geez thanks...then he walked over to the kid cooking and was touching food...yes he was touching the food by the grill with his hands after puking in the back room for several minutes and admitted as much. He did also tell me quite confidently to call his GM, which I thought was odd. I would avoid coming here at all costs, I ended up throwing my sub away because I don't feel like ending up in the emergency room from the Norovirus or something similar. read more

Delicious subs! I've been to this location many times and have only had a problem one time, due to it being very busy (the ticket for my order didn't get printed out and I had to wait for quite some time, but they refunded my transaction.) I always have a fresh, hot sub and cold, refreshing lemonade. So good! read more

Penn Station is a good option for subs if you are sick of Subway. They have a selection of tasty hot and cold subs. My favorite is the grilled artichoke sub, hold the mayo. They also have fresh cut french fries and freshly squeezed lemonade which is made obvious by the evident containers of real potatoes and lemons on display. You order at one end and then go to pay at the other end, which is a little weird. Whenever I order here, 4 times out of 5 they will have not noted my drink or chip order at the front, leaving me to re-order it at the end when I pay. I am not sure why customers can't just do this in one spot, it's a little weird. read more

This location literally NEVER makes my sandwich correctly. THREE TIMES I've requested NO BANANA PEPPERS, and what's on my sandwich? An entire jar of banana peppers. You have to listen to your customers orders! Won't be ordering from this location again. read more

This business apparently thinks it's okay for an Associate to scream at her phone while on a FaceTime call and then proceed to scream in the kitchen about said call with her fellow employees, all while a customer is trying to eat their food (oh yeah, and the Manager is sitting down in the lobby listening too). I wouldn't recommend eating at this location. Everything inside of my Sub was pretty much just thrown-in, in a clump, not evenly placed. Terrible experience. read more

If you have a 2 hour lunch break then by all means, stop on by. This is the slowest sandwich shop I have ever dined at. My sandwich was fine, but it took them 20 minutes to make it after I had ordered. The line wasn't long and there were free tables inside (it was a Monday) so I didn't expect a sandwich would be more than 5-8 minutes to arrive. Someone wrote that it's on par with pot-belly? No. No way. It's more like the great steak and potato company. Well, nearly exactly that in fact. Most of the sandwiches here are grilled. So also be ready for an extra dose of oily onions, greasy meat, and melted cheese. Yeah, it tastes pretty good, but it is far from good for you. Hopefully they can keep a more experienced staff. While I was there it appeared they had completely lost 2 orders and most everything was in disarray. If they get that fixed, I'd raise my rating to right in the middle. While standing in line I overheard the manager talking in a very poor tone to his employees, his employee was very embarrassed in front of customers. That's not a very good way to treat employees, it turns away business. read more
