No longer serving wine which was a bit disappointing. We had the goat cheese app. The taste was good but toasting the bread would have elevated it even more. It was also covered in a huge pile of chopped garlic. I love garlic but this looked like the chopped garlic out of jar and wasn't as appealing visually. Maybe had it been mixed in with the goat cheese it would have looked better. It also stated hot honey as one of the ingredients and neither of us picked up on the hot honey at all. Cute and quaint place! It's on the corner of the block, and a bit smaller than I expected which added to a welcoming and cozy vibe. The people working seemed happy and had good recommendations on what to get and their best cheeses. They have wine, non alcoholic wine, and other N/A drinks available. I opted for a flight of wine. The selection is smaller--but it is a smaller place. I wouldn't expect an extensive list. We got the double date board which came with your choice of three meats and three cheeses. Prosciutto is great, and I absolutely loved their goat cheese. Portions were good--but I'd also expect that for $58. The board also comes with fruit, chocolate, olives, and pistachios. Went for the first time yesterday to this unique spot on the Kalamazoo Mall. Great ambiance and service, but was genuinely surprised at the food--how good it was! We ordered the 'basic' charcuterie board plus a sandwich, thinking that the board wouldn't be enough. It would have been! We decided to try the personal cheese board and we did not get any meat on it. They graciously added more cheese! Firstly omg it looked delicious they way they present it was amazing. Our son got the pumpkin bread (it was huge and so so good). Along with the cheese board we also got the chai lemonade and apple fritz. The food was delicious. Along with cheese, they added fresh fruits, nuts, figs and added jelly and crackers too. The quantity is a lot and 2 of us could finish only 1 cheese board. The mocktails were delicious too !! I love the concept of this newer establishment. Go in, order a pre selected charcuterie board, or create your own, or grab a sandwich. So many choices for carry out as well! They're not only tasty and delightful but beautiful! Almost too pretty to eat! Charcuterie boards are the new social food! What better way to meet for a casual lunch/snack/meeting than by having an assortment of pretty food at your fingertips? The staff inside was super polite! We wanted an alcoholic drink and since they don't have a liquor license yet we were able to go to a nearby bar and grab a drink (in a downtown commons cup) to bring back in to enjoy. The baked Brie was unbelievable! I mean seriously... we had to order more bread to finish it because it was not leaving that on the board! Do not be turned off that you can't see the menu right away...be patient and trust the process . Also know the portions are generous, and the staff is able to keep a great upbeat attitude in the face of many hungry customers! I got the salmon toast...it was fully loaded on two full size pieces of sourdough, I couldn't eat it all! It was super yum with all flavors well balanced. Girlfriend had the prosciutto balsamic salad which was also super yum, but was so sweet, we both recommend getting the balsamic on the side and dipping or mixing in little bits at a time. And get ready for something you've never heard before..there was too much goat cheese . What!? Yes, you read that right. Girlfriend #2 had the prosciutto sandwich and was also very happy. Thank you to Joe and the grazing table staff for saving the day! I ordered a charcuterie board for my 89 year old MIL's birthday. (She absolutely LOVES their boards and raved for months over the last one we ordered her. ) Anyway DoorDash dropped it off at the wrong address and couldn't pick it up and redeliver they could only refund! I'm in CA and my MIL isn't able to go collect it from the wrong address. I called the grazing board to let them know and Joe offered to remake a board for her ,personally delivered it himself and wouldn't accept payment even though it was door dash's fault. The kindness and compassion that was shown to myself and my MIL was above and beyond and you made her 89th birthday special. I will be visiting the grazing table on our next visit and highly recommend you try this small owned business for yourself. I finally got to check out this adorable new restaurant downtown Kalamazoo and it was amazing! I tried the Kalamazoo Autumn Sammy (swapped the bread option) and it was HEAVENLY! Such good flavor combos they created with the sweet potatoes, gouda and thin apple slices. The baked goods are to die for and the seating area and overall atmosphere is so cozy. We ordered a charcuterie board for 8-10 people for thanksgiving. I had heard so many good things in fb reviews and elsewhere so I ignored the fact that the online ordering tells you NOTHING about what you are getting and took the leap of faith that $90 for 8-10 people would result in a nice spread. My wife picked it up and when she got home she immediately asked if I really paid that much for THIS... the tray was about 14" diameter and looked to be a small collections of cheese and meat (like maybe 4 servings of meat and cheese), some trader Joe crackers and cookies and a bunch of cheap almonds and candies. I weighed the tray and it was about 3.5 LBs... so I paid close to $30/lb for something a crowd of 10 barely touched. I thought about calling to complain, but realized I'll never go back, so why bother. Beyond that, I found out later that the owners are aligned with Radiant church (anti-LGBTQ and pro-life)... so not a business I would ever knowingly patronize again! Live and learn... if the menu doesn't tell you what you're getting, probably best to move on! read more
