Went here today for a quick lunch and was in and out quickily. The employees were friendly and the food was pretty good and filled me up. One complaint I have is the cost. A regular philly steak and a cookie was $10.29 for carryout. You can go down the plaza to Putters and get a chicken philly and tons of fries for the same price. We stopped by Penn Station while visiting family in Cincy. Penn Station is something we miss now that we're living on the West Coast and we were excited to stop in. We ended up ordering two large subs and a large fry and the staff member was friendly as they took our order. It didn't take too long before they were ready and we took them straight home to enjoy. The large sandwiches were bigger than we expected and we only finished half, we're excited to enjoy the leftovers later. My husband had the cheesesteak sandwich and I had a hot Italian and we enjoyed them a lot. The fries weren't the best we've had at Penn Station, maybe they had been sitting for a bit? A bit disappointing. There is plenty of parking in the lot and they do have seating inside if you'd like to dine in. read more

I love Penn Station! But unfortunately, I don't recommend ordering carry out or delivery from this location. They consistently have order accuracy issues. Specifically, they often miss requested toppings clearly stated on the order ticket. They are obviously not conducting order accuracy checks. Penn Station has this process, but it's not being executed at this location, a symptom of poor or inconsistent management. I recommend ordering from another location if you can. Went there on Saturday afternoon and ordered a chicken Philly with extra mushrooms onions and mayo. Once I left the store I looked over the receipt and it stated chicken onion and mayo and no mushrooms. I took it back and asked if they could remake it the way I had requested. I handed the sandwich to the manager at the cash register. He scolded me asking how did I know there were no mushrooms if I had not opened the sandwich. I told him the receipt did not have mushrooms on it. The manager opened the sandwich at the register and ran his fingers through the sandwich while saying there are mushrooms on it. I told him I ordered it with extra mushrooms. He said there were mushrooms on it. He was so nasty that I asked for my money back. He then apologized to the couple in line behind me for the wait. The manager never offered to remake the sandwich he only kept telling me there were mushrooms on it. I got my refund and went to the Penn station in mason. Fries are fantastic and made to order, so they're always hot and crisp. Sandwich combinations are limitless. Awesome buns. Nice employees.

Nasty food! Nasty Service! They don't wash their hands and the hand sanitizer is just for show. The same guy taking your money will turn around and touch your food. I got there one day as soon as they opened the door and order a chicken sub with frys. The grill had not been cleaned from the previous day and all that grit went in my food. I said something to the manager who was the one who made my sub and he argued the grill was cleaned and he walked away. Rude is an understatement. The guy who took my money touched my frys with no washing or sanitizer. When I opened my sub it had nasty black tar from the grill that was from previous days running through my chicken. Nastiest restaurant I have ever been to. I don't know how these places stay in business. My food went in the garbage with my money. read more

No matter how many times I try to give this location a shot, they always disappoint. The employees just don't "get it" - they consistently mess up orders (fortunately they have only messed mine up once). Something else that really sends a bad message is the fact that they don't wear gloves and they constantly fix their hair and wipe their faces while preparing food. This has been the only location that I've had issues with. I love the food, the service here is a whole different story unfortunately. PS - even if you call your order in ahead, be prepared to wait just as long as if you walked in. Update: new management in place means service has improved. Thankfully. read more

Was in a meeting and couldn't go to the store so ordered through GrubHub. GrubHub totally screwed up and never picked up the order. The girls working the night of 8/3/20 totally made it right for me, and had a new sandwich ready for me when I arrived, since my GrubHub order had been sitting there ready for over 30 minutes. Great customer service here!! And GrubHub sucks - go in and get your food in person and you'll be greeted by great employees! read more

Friendly staff and their french fries are great Windfresh, but the sandwiches just aren't any good. There is something wrong with the bread. It just tastes to dance and chewy and mass-produced like it just came out of the freezer and was thawed in a microwave. read more
