Stopped in for an early supper. I haven't been to this location for many years. The drive-thru was packed so we decided to eat inside. We only waited in line for about 5-7 minutes to place our order. I got the spicy chicken sandwich combo (waffle fries & lemonade). Hubby ordered the grilled chicken nuggets combo (waffle fries & cherry Coke). We also ordered a banana pudding milkshake to share. Our food came out to our table in less than 8 minutes. I sampled the milkshake but didn't care for it. Hubby thought it was just okay. I liked my sandwich & waffle fries. Didn't care for the grilled nuggets as they taste like they're marinated in a salty solution before they're grilled. That taste turned me off. Hubby does like the grilled nuggets & orders them often. Always fast, always friendly, always well-trained staff. Honestly, I am not as much a fan of their food as my family is. But the process, the great training, and the organized staff make it a pleasure to watch. I have one suggestion for all Chick-fil-A drive-throughs. Stop having the order takers walk forward in the line and take orders before you can read the menu boards. Or install a duplicate set further back in the line. I find it very annoying for them to try and get us to place the order and you're not helping yourself at all with upselling or getting people to try new things if we are never allowed to see the menu to know about them. Often it frustrates your staff when I say I'll order when I get to the menu since they are trained to speed things up and try and get you to order beforehand. I don't always know what I want until I can read the menu! Otherwise always consistent, far better trained and professional staff than any McDonalds! read more

Your typical Chick-fil-A. We stopped here on our way down 75S to Knoxville, from Detroit, because they're giving away free 8-piece chicken nuggets on the app this month. Both the dining area and bathrooms were clean, and we got our food promptly. I ordered the 8-piece grilled nuggets and he ordered the 8-piece regular nuggets (we split both) and we also split an order of large fries. Since we're usually in the area on Sundays, Chick fil A isn't normally an option; however, this week it turned out we were in the area mid-week, so the decision was made. We arrived on a busy Wednesday night, there were three lanes of traffic in the drive through, and a full compliment of CFA staffers busily serving them. We were dine-in, and our orders were taken quickly. Maybe too quickly, but the breaded nuggets were quickly exchanged for the grilled ones we ordered on one simple trip back to the counter. On the second trip to the counter, I was able to retrieve the correct dressing for Mom's salad. On the third trip back to the counter, I was able to acquire my wife's dipping sauce for her, and finally, after 4 trips back to the service counter, we got our correct order and were able to dine. All little things, and they were very busy. The food was premium quality, and I tried their new kale salad as a side - highly recommended. Of course, we'll go back...It just wasn't the knock you over the top with customer service I had come to expect - but the food makes it well worth the trip. read more

Usually a 5 star visit from yesterday morning about 9:30am. They really are usually phenomenal service. Today they forgot one large fries. I drove around, parked and went inside for my 2 star service by the mgr Vicki. No apology, no smile, no care at all. I showed receipt kindly said missing waffle fries (at breakfast time that we had to wait extra time for since it was breakfast). We Saw them under the lamp. She also said that must be them. I said with credit card showing I now need another large fry now. She said without looking at me or any care, that ones on me- very nice to now get free fry but I would have paid to see her be focused and smiling like they always do. I asked to sit outside in car again to wait and irritated I didn't get an apology or a care in the world and wanted to write a bad review. Now knowing her name as she comes out with a very nice smile, apology and the fresh fries. She was excellent. Some people can be having a bad personal moment but still work hard and pull though. I'm a huge fan of Chick-fil-A! If you are looking for something quick, this restaurant offers a lot of healthy suggestions... As healthy as fast food can be. The restaurant chain itself is strong with its morals, as it is closed every Sunday to give their employees time to be with their families. Huge fan of that! The workers are always very friendly and ask specifically 'how may I serve you' when you are next in line or up at the drive-through. I don't believe I've ever seen the drive-through line empty. It is normally wrapped around the building, but it does move quickly. It is definitely worth the wait! They have a wonderful play place for the children and a place for the adults to watch their kids play. My family dined at this CFA on our road trip up north for Thanksgiving. We had a fantastic dining experience, but what really made this a 5-star experience was what happened after our visit. That night our 3yo daughter left her coat in the play area. When we realized it a couple of hours into our trip, we called and the director, Andrew, told us he would hold the coat until we came back through. On our way back home to Ft Knox, we stopped by to retrieve the coat. Unfortunately, they informed us he had left for the night and had the coat with him (to keep it secure.) BUT- someone must have notified him we were there - because he left his family and drove back to work to return my daughter's coat to us. And with a such a GREAT attitude. Ate here on August 1st for the wonderful food and for our support of the Christian Owner's First Amendment Rights. Very best chicken strips, nuggets and sandwiches on the planet in our opinion. The chicken is unadulterated white breast meat in every bite. No occasional gristle etc. Just the most wonderful breast meat. I had (16) strips ... (8) for lunch and (8) for dinner and my wife had a spicy chicken sandwich. The kids enjoyed the nuggets. While the chicken is deep fried, it doesn't have the obvious layer of fat other fast food chicken brands do have nor is it heavy on batter ... just right! It is very very tasty. The waffle fries are always served hot and the staff is some of the friendliest you will encounter. I'll be visiting Chick Fil-A from now on for friend chicken. read more

Two weeks ago last Saturday, my husband and I went through the drive thru. It took about 15 minutes because the woman two cars ahead of us must of had a big confusing order. We got our food finally and went home, just to open our bag and found out we had the wrong order. We were both exhausted from working all day and really didn't want to drive all the way back there, but my husband did. I tried to call to explain what happened and the phone just rang and rang. When he got there and explained what was wrong they wanted him to show a receipt! He wasn't able to that because we didn't receive one. Then, a kid from in back said,"oh, we just threw those sandwiches away. He finally got our order and they just said they were sorry and sent him on his way. Let me get this out first and foremost: I don't like fast food. I'm just not a fan. But what I am a fan of is a place that understands they are part of the community and acts that way. I am a divorced dad. I have to drive to West Chester (from downtown) to spend time with my daughter. One of the best things I've seen is the Chick-Fil-A Family Nights. Every Tuesday night kids eat free. They have arts/crafts sometimes. Free ice cream cones and the indoor play ground is fantastic. My daughter and I are always treated well. The place is always clean. And my daughter (3 yrs old) has a fantastic time with her "dada" every time we go. So if you have kids, and you need a little time to let them "go nuts" while you watch, or like me, you're just looking for a place to have some family time, you can't go wrong with Chick-Fil-A on Tuesday nights. P.S. There are other locations in the city that do this as well. You just need to check their website to find the one nearest you that might be doing family night. read more
