We ate here a couple of nights ago, because we live within walking distance and it was convenient. I can't say we come here very often, but we really should more. Tasty sub place! If you want a step up from subway or any sub chain, definitely try this place. It's got a lot of different types of subs. I got the Italian which tasted like pizza in a sub. You have to pay extra for fries or you can get the combo for fries/drinks. It's a bit pricier but I would say the subs taste much better than your typical chain. read more

Penn Station in general only has one thing going for it- taste. It's just not worth the time and money if you buy it yourself. It's something if you have a free coupon or your friend owes you some shit. This location had to of taken nearly 20 mins to get my single sandwich and fries- bear in mind it wasn't crowded or rush- 1 sand which, 1 man ahead of me. The worst part? A large sandwich and a medium fry cost me 17.28 At that point I'll go to my favorite pizza joint and get a LARGE PIZZA delivered to me for 20$, including tip!!! Overpriced beyond it all and slower than 80% of restaurants. Never spending money there again. read more

I don't normally eat at chains, but Penn Station is one of the few that tastes consistently good and fresh. I ordered online and my chicken teriyaki sub was ready when I arrived. I really appreciated the sample cookies that were thrown in for free! These little touches go a long way, and that's just one reason I keep coming back. There's something about the bread at Penn Station that makes you crave a sub from them. My favorite sub is the artichoke with mushroom. So creamy and tasty and supposedly on the lighter option menu even though it doesn't taste even close to light. Get the mushrooms on it! The Reuben breaks the rules by having a white bread roll instead of rye but it is awesome. I keep meaning to try the other subs but the artichoke has me mesmerized and I can't stop ordering it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I am in love. Fresh cut fries and lemonade are great with the subs too. read more

The food here is delicious. I think it's a little expensive, though. I bought a sandwich for myself and one for my beautiful mom. We shared an order of fries, and my toddler demanded a cookie. We didn't order drinks because we took them home to eat. Totally worth the money! There were tons of fries left over. The food here is SUPER greasy. There's so much grease it got caught in my throat while I was eating the sandwich and it made me sick. I don't want to gross anyone out. SORRY! I've just got to be honest. This food is way too greasy for human consumption. I've eaten at other Penn Station East Coast subs and they are not like this. Something is wrong with the way the food is being prepared at this location. Fries are horrible. They're more like hard little "fry bits" than actual fries. Always a great place to get a hot sub that tastes really good at a decent price. This place is always neat and clean and quick to serve with a full compliment of friendly staff. I have never had any problems going here and always leave happy. My favorite sub is the Artichoke sub and this is coming from a person who LOVES the Philly Beef. Subs are addicting. I am thinking of moving and 1 criterea for my new location is that it has to have Penn Station. If you are looking for Tofu and bean sprouts, don't waste your time.
