I have lived near this location for a year now and visited roughly 4-5 times. I have never had a good experience at this location. My main issue has been the customer service. I walk in and was not greeted by any of the 5 employees working, with only a few people in the lobby. I said "hi I have a pickup order for Ava" "it's not ready yet." My boyfriend and I received a gift card to Jersey Mikes for Christmas. This was both of our first time at the establishment and had never ordered from there. As soon as we walked in, a heavier set lady with brown hair was standing there and very rudely took our order. I have never seen such awful service from someone. Saying "what" in a rude way and rolling her eyes when I asked for certain things on my sandwich and giving us a blank stare while we figured out what we wanted. She even got my boyfriend's sandwich wrong when he specifically asked for a Chipotle Cheesesteak and got chicken but we didn't want to stand there for another 15 minutes after already being treated badly. Will probably never be returning due to one service worker, and I work in food service and have still never met someone as rude as her. read more

Beyond disappointed with the customer service at this location. Three employees working and all three were rude to my poor wife beyond measure. They seemed offended that we even showed up to eat. I have a love hate relationship with Jersey Mikes. So I am going to do a little bit different of a review today and make it a pros and cons review and at the end, i will put a "things to improve" list that could just put Jersey mikes over the top! And just for the beginners, "Mikes way" is salt, pepper (I'm pretty sure oregano too), oil, vinegar, tomato, lettuce, onion and Mayo. PROS: -They are seriously so delicious. - the amount of meat they put on the sandwich is unmatched by any other fast food sandwich chain that's I've been to - their bacon is crispy and not rubber like other places *cough* subway *cough* - a delivery has never been messed up in probably a dozen orders - freshly slices meat to order CONS: -very pricey. - no choices to get oil and vinegar on the side on app - no choices for anything on the side - too long to even get a free mini on rewards - not a long of bread options - not a lot of chip options In my opinion, these are the things that could be fixed and make Jersey mikes a bigger customer base and A LOT of money. -keep the same prices but do Facebook/social media coupons so you don't spend money on mail out coupons but still grow the customer base by getting them in with a coupon and getting them to fall in love with the product - fix the app so people have the option to get things on the side, ask for it being wrapped separately, for extra napkins, ect. - rewards take way too long. I would also implement with the rewards a "buy 6, get 7th free" or something along those lines - 12 month demand poll. use a test restaurant, roll out 3 new breads for 6 months and track the demand. For the next 6 months do 3 different breads and track the demand on those too. Out of the 6 you rolled out, keep the 2 most high in demand and add those to your existing choices. - get some cheap sides for the company to add as a side peope love pickles (and you would make over a 250% profit on those) more chip options and cookies. Do not do fresh fruit. Waste would not be worth your profit. That's my piece. But truly do love Jersey mikes. Cannot believe it's even more expensive than last time. Giant sub is now over $16. The amount of meat to bread ratio for $16, no way anyone should go there. Used to be my favorite sub place, found on accident. Seemed $14 was high BUT I felt the amount of meat made it at least a decent buy. I will say like EVERYONE else they are hit by inflation but sadly it is what it is. read more

The reviews that say it's a little pricey are correct, but sometimes you get what you pay for. The sandwiches are really big and the meat isn't out of some tub, it's legit. A regular is pretty big. I'm a large guy and can finish it, but am just as happy splitting it with my wife for lunch. A mini will honestly do the trick most times. Mikes Way adds oil and vinegar, which gives it a good East coast taste. My favorite sandwich is the club. I think the biggest reason is the bacon is super crispy, just the way I like it. I got the honey mustard turkey wrap which is probably the healthiest thing in the menu outside of salads, and I enjoyed it. It certainly isn't a club, but that's the choice you make when trying to cut a couple calories and grams of fat. I'd get it again. I've always gotten carry out so can't speak on dining in. read more

Poor customer service! Ordered a hot meatball sub That was given to me cold.. cheese and meatballs were cold and on top of that the sandwich was a mess! When asked if she could do something she said no we don't have a microwave... (no, but you have a grill). She took the sandwich threw the sandwich away and threw another piece of bread on the grill! Yes threw! They were not busy, I was not rude ... I simply wanted the hot sandwich I ordered and served so I could eat it instead of looking like I wore it!!! Prices may seem high but the sandwiches are huge. Despite that, I didn't care for them. They have more cold sandwiches than hot (no indication can make a cold one hot) and I didn't like the cold one. It was too cold, if that makes sense. You can have it Mike's Way which makes it easier with toppings though far less choices there - no red onions, they have white only. Sauces also extremely limited. One measly slice of bacon on my sandwich as well - sure I got a Mini, but one slice only went down the middle - not enough coverage. I may try it one more time just to see if things improve with a hot sandwich, but not impressed with first visit. read more

I'm grossed out because I just got a sub from the stow jersey mikes and the lettuce looks brown and rotten.

Stopped in today at 12:03 PM. Food on the commercials look delicious, so I thought we would give it a try. There was a long line, but we ordered at 12:08 pm. We ordered a BLT and a chicken Philly. They had us wait on the side while they made our subs. After 15 minutes, I asked about our order. They said they were working on it. After 35 minutes, I had to leave to pick up my daughter. Manager came over and reimbursed us. Some of the workers were scrambling to see if they could piece some of our food together, but it was too late. I am sure it is just growing pains, but it was still an issue. Some pointers: if you order food to go, you cannot customize what goes on your sandwich. Be careful. Just and annoyance, but when you pay my credit card, you are almost forced to tip with large buttons on the screen before you can swipe your card. If you pay by cash, there is a very large plastic container with the word tip jar that is extremely large and in your path. Technically speaking, I've never seen a sub place require a tip like this - I am not cheap, but I am not sure they do anything more than subway, jimmy johns, or Charley's (no tips). read more

Fresh subs with fresh ingredients! Nice to see meat that is freshly sliced and you can taste the difference. Generous with their local promotions to draw new customers into the store. The staff is usually on the younger side but they are usually pretty nice. Better than competitors in the area with similar fare. read more

First, I love Jersey Mike's. Their subs are delicious, but on this day I went to this Jersey Mike's I do not have a good day because of the manager. I've been going to Jersey Mike's ever since they've opened at this one and other ones. In fact I went to one of the first jersey Mike's down in North Carolina years ago. Never had a problem. I usually would buy a regular sub which is gluten-free and then I would also sometimes buy one of the loaves of bread, which all the stores I went to with sold them to me, including this one. Anyways the manager said they never sell their bread, and they have never sold bread. I told her yes you do or you have because I bought it many times here. She continue to argue back-and-forth with me all I just was saying was I have bought it here she said no you haven't. I Ended the conversation just by telling her should you be arguing with a customer like this .I got my sub and then I was leaving she was saying that you shouldn't come back to the store anymore. This was not a good experience to say the least and she wouldn't even give me your name so I could call daughter and maybe get things straightened out. read more

Let me tell you a story about Jersey Mike's Subs, the newest, hottest spot in Stow, OH. I was sharing a nice evening in with my lovely sister, beautiful mom, and two metrosexual cats. There is another cat, too, but he's a bit of a loner. While watching the two liberated cats fight, we thought we would treat ourselves to a satisfying sub dinner. "I know", says my sister, "let's try Jersey Mike's! Surely a place specializing in only subs could be counted on to make a decent sandwich!" However, as we all learn as we grow older, life can be incredibly cruel and disappointing. After we all decided what we wanted, my sister placed our order. A shocking revelation followed: three subs (three!) would take thirty minutes to make. That should have been our first indication of the night we were about to have. Instead of going to the store, getting ingredients, coming home, and making ten subs (which we could have easily done in the allotted time period), we decided that we would wait and watch the sexually ambiguous cats fight a lot. It was an OK time. After the slow crush of time, I made my way to Jersey Mike's. As I arrived, I was shocked to find a store glaringly empty. The employee-to-customer ratio was approaching one, and fast. For this reason, I foolishly assumed I would be able to pick up my subs and leave quickly. Oh to be young and full of hope again! After paying for my decidedly overpriced order, I was hit with a devastating blow: two of the subs had not even been started. I felt all the blood drain from my face. Palms sweaty, I sat down, barely able to comprehend the news. I pulled myself out of my ennui and, with a panic, waited for the Subs That Simply Weren't. I watched as the employees casually began preparing my hot subs, anger replacing my depression. I began questioning everything I thought I knew about sub preparation. What were they doing? How could this be? Was that peppers they were putting on the sub I specifically ordered them not to? To my chagrin, the answer to the latter question was a resounding yes. I don't remember the drive home. The subs were, at best, tasteless. At worst, unpalatable. With heavy hearts and empty stomachs, we threw out the majority of our food. Jersey Mike's, we believed in you. I hope that in the future your take out times aren't mere suggestions. I hearken back to the days when call ahead ordering actually meant something, and a sub shop could be counted on to make a mediocre sandwich. 3/5 though, pretty good atmosphere. read more
