When I tried to address this and explained the difficulties I had reaching your office--such as your email not working and being disconnected on the phone--the scheduler was extremely rude, talked over me, and was dismissive and unprofessional throughout the conversation. After this upsetting experience, I specifically requested a call back from you before my appointment to discuss how I was treated. Not only did I never receive a call, but my concerns were never acknowledged by you or your staff in any way. Now, I see why my mother left your practice and started seeing another doctor. Given this lack of professionalism and the failure to address my concerns, I have decided to seek care at another dermatology office--one where I feel I will be treated with the respect and courtesy every patient deserves. I am very disappointed by this experience and hope you will take these issues seriously for the sake of your future patients. I also advise anybody else who receives disrespectful or discourteous treatment from the office staff here to call the Florida licensing board and file a formal complaint. Disappointing Experience…read more I'm writing this review with mixed feelings. My mother was previously a patient of Dr. Kevin Welch, and I know him to be a very kind and competent doctor--our kids even attended the same elementary school. However, my recent experience with his scheduling staff was extremely disappointing. After booking an appointment weeks in advance, I was contacted to reschedule and was offered a time with the Physician's Assistant instead of Dr. Welch, which was not my preference. When I mentioned that I had been trying to contact the office--explaining that their email was not working and that I was disconnected when I initially tried to call--the scheduler became incredibly rude for no apparent reason. Throughout the entire conversation, she would not stop talking over me, blabbering incessantly and preventing me from getting a word in edgewise. She subjected me to a long-winded tongue-lashing and even accused me of being short with her, which was ironic given her own erratic and unprofessional behavior. When I explained that I would be mentioning this experience to Dr. Welch, she became even more indifferent, telling me to "go ahead" in a dismissive and antagonistic manner, as if my feedback would not make any difference. It felt as though she was an embedded employee who believed she was above accountability, which made the situation even more uncomfortable and frustrating. While I still plan to keep my appointment and expect a positive experience with Dr. Welch himself, I sincerely hope he addresses the issues with his scheduling staff. Specifically, the rude and unprofessional woman handling the scheduling needs to be either retrained or replaced. Her behavior is a disservice to Dr. Welch's reputation and could easily deter potential patients.

I underwent a primary rhinoplasty with Dr. Butler in July 2024. During my consultation, I clearly stated my two main goals: reducing my dorsal hump and lifting or rotating the nasal tip. Dr. Butler told me that my tip angle was already appropriate and that reducing the dorsal hump would cause the tip to "fix itself." Although I questioned this explanation, I trusted his professional judgment and proceeded with surgery. From the early postoperative period, it was evident that something was wrong. Even with the cast still on, my nasal tip appeared droopy and unsupported. I also want to note that no taping or support was ever used postoperatively to help maintain tip position. I was repeatedly reassured that this was normal and advised to "give it time." At cast removal, the issue became more apparent. Although swelling masked some of the deformity, my tip remained rotated downward, consistent with a developing pollybeak deformity. I again raised concerns and was told that all swelling had "settled into the tip" from the cast and that there was nothing to worry about. Between two and three months post-op, after moving out of state, I sent multiple emails to Dr. Butler's nurse expressing concern about my collapsed, downward-drooping tip and a prominent bump at the tip of my nose that appeared to be protruding cartilage. These concerns were again dismissed and attributed to swelling due to my being "very active," and I was told I would need to wait until six months post-op for evaluation. At my six-month in-person appointment, my appearance had not improved and had, in fact, worsened. I raised my concerns directly with Dr. Butler regarding the obvious pollybeak deformity. His response was dismissive; he stated, "Someone's been online, haven't they," and told me that my nose looked great and that he "wouldn't have changed a thing." No revision, corrective plan, or financial accommodation was offered. Following this appointment, I consulted with three well-known U.S. revision rhinoplasty specialists, all of whom independently confirmed a clear pollybeak deformity, a droopy and under-rotated tip, and protruding cartilage irregularities. Ultimately, I required revision rhinoplasty at fifteen months post-op, at an additional cost of $15,000. Several months after my surgery, I reviewed the practice's website and was shocked to find my photos being used in a misleading manner. Although I signed a photo release, I did not consent to false or deceptive representation. The photo labeled as my "before" image is actually my six-month post-op result, while the photo labeled as my "after" image appears to be taken within the first month post-op, when swelling temporarily obscured the deformity. The website claims the "after" photo was taken at four months post-op, despite me not having a four-month appointment. If my nose truly "looked great," it is concerning that my unsatisfactory six-month result was used as a "before" image. I have attached screenshots and accurate before-and-after photos for reference. I reached out to the office to express my concerns regarding my postoperative care and the misleading use of my photos and received no response. I am sharing my experience so that others can make a fully informed decision and avoid the physical, emotional, and financial distress that I endured.

My husband was there for a full body look over from having melanoma surgery recently. The nurse was great and pointed out that the office also offer Botox and fillers as well. Great on promoting as there were no signage. After a few minutes, while in his hospital gown, Miss Tia the PA- C entered and introduced herself. Explained how she will look over my husband from head to toe and do a thorough search for anything unusual. Thank God nothing stood out except for a few little moles on his back which she cut out.
