Because I was moving back to my hometown, we didn't need unloading help, we did it ourselves. Looking for a smooth easy move? Go with a Penske Truck, and then hire moving helpers from this site called www.movinghelpcenter.com. You won't regret it. After we rented our truck, we reserved movers to load it for us from Moving Help Center. I reserved the movers with $20 down (Paypal). Then we spent a few days packing our boxes and getting our stuff ready. On moving day, the movers arrived around 9AM and we were done before 11AM. I wasn't expecting it to be so quick, we lived in a 2nd floor apartment. Nothing was damaged, the truck was packed nice and tight - nothing fell during the trip and the truck did not break down. I mention this only because when SML refused to correct their mistakes, Penske did. Penske refunded me the amount I should have been refunded by SML, because Penske agreed and wanted me to be fully satisfied. I have only nice things to say about Penske and highly recommend them! I was floored by the way they handled my situation and so grateful. Penske is an upstanding company and I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

First of all, this is primarily a gas station that happens to rent U-Haul trucks. This is NOT one…read moreof those big U-Haul centers like I thought it was going to be. I drove from Fort Worth to this location because it was close to where I was picking up furniture and the U-Haul website said there were trucks available at this location. When I got here, I realized that this was one of those independent businesses that contracts with U-Haul and is not an official U-Haul location. I walked inside and there was one woman managing the gas station, convenience store, and also trying to manage U-Haul reservations at the same time. Even though I waited in line, she kept making me stand to the side so she could service people buying gas and snacks. At one point, 3 people who seemed to be her friends or repeat customers came in and they chatted for quite a while. I was still standing on the side and hadn't been helped yet. After waiting for 20+ minutes, I decided that I would find a truck elsewhere because this was getting ridiculous. She still had my drivers license, so I asked for it back so I could leave. This is when she finally started looking through her U-Haul reservation system and checking on availability. I stood around for almost 30 minutes for her to tell me that there weren't any trucks available, even though the website said there was. Complete disregard and lack of respect for me and my time. This place should not be renting out U-Haul trucks if they can barely manage their own gas station.

Days later, I was contacted claiming the vehicle had substantial damage, and now they are threatening me to file a claim with my insurance or credit card company. This is an outrageous and baseless attempt to shift responsibility after confirming the vehicle was in good condition. I strongly recommend caution when dealing with this location and especially Austin Perry, the manager/con-artist whom I assume caused the damage and is trying to pin it on us.

I have had the runaround with the insurance company since last Thursday so today, Monday, October 2 I was pleased to walk into this enterprise thinking that they would be assisting me in solving my problem. I get to the service desk. A gentleman tells me that they don't have anything available. He gives me a little information says the cars are booked and it would be a few weeks out. I took the information that he gave me with face value and thought, well, at least he's being transparent with me and helpful. After returning to the car defeated, I told my husband they didn't have any cars although I had had a reservation. I would like to be clear the reservation was at this store but another the insurance adjuster told me I could go to any enterprise anywhere. So my husband trying to problem solve he decides to call another location well he thought he was calling another location so he get someone on the phone. He gives them the reservation number and ask do they have anything available and he said sure come on in my husband then ask what's your location so we can get there and get this handled 1800 S. Main we told them we were sitting in the parking lot on their property and they just told us that y'all didn't have any cars they put us on hold several times comes back says that they moved a few things around. at this point you can tell he's annoyed because they all just got caught in a lie in the office so he says we could possibly get you in this evening. We're willing to take any car any time that you have one available today. The man tells me you're not getting a car today and hung up in my face, awesome customer service. The funny thing is that Walmart damage to my car doing an oil change and this experience has been so horrific that I started to record every interaction I had concerning this claim unbeknownst to him. I have the entire call recorded I have contacted corporate office and I will be contacting the manager of this facility. I would like to say that there was zero professionalism. There was zero compassion for me as a human being. And there was zero accountability for y'all lying about not having cars. Enterprise will know exactly how much you value their customers. Professional, Interpersonal, and eager to help. Everything was affordable even the insurance. I picked the truck up at a service center from a Home Depot in Lewisville Texas. I like the way they handle things. Especially, because they close by 9:00 pm. I mean really, How convenient is that? Oh, yeah, and get this, They accept Groupons you guys" That's like a hot fudge sundae with a cherry on top. Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with over 15) disorders and diseases, including Lupus and that weekend that I rented the truck, I was sick the entire time with migraine headaches up to 5) days and got nothing done. No pne could drive the truck because their name was not on the contract. I hope that I can get refunded for the money that I spent and the work that never got done.
