Probably some of the best pizza by-the-slice for Lunch that I have ever had. Everything from white pizza to a huge selection of specialized toppings including chicken, beef, sausage, riccota w/ tomato & basil, broccoli, bacon and many others. Their Cheesteaks w/ fries are great also. Parking at lunchtime weekdays can be a bit tight but there's a second lot adjacent to theirs right next door. A bit crowded at lunchtime on the weekdays but it's worth the wait. The owners are all from Italy and run the place like a 5-star Zagat rated eatery. My husband and I stopped by while we were traveling. I'm so glad we did. The gentleman that helped us (possibly the owner) was kind, efficient and knew what he was doing. I ordered food through Grubhub. The delivery time kept getting later and later. I called the restaurant. The people I spoke to hard to understand and impatient. After I was told to hold on a second time, I heard people talking, but no one got back on the phone. They just left me waiting. I was about to hang up when someone hung up on me. I contacted Grubhub, and was told my food was on the way. I waited almost an hour and a half for my food. It was good, except I was able to pour the butter onto my bread, since it came melted. I might give People's another chance, IF they hadn't been rude and hung up on me. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I've heard from a few folks that their food is spot-on. The fact that the dude at the counter's normal speaking voice was loud enough to hear clear across the room got me pretty stoked since boisterous people are generally good cooks. Unfortunately, they were either having a bad day or everybody who suggested this place was high. I got a slice each of their cheesesteak pizza and their BBQ chicken pizza. The first one was mediocre and had to be coated with garlic, parmesan, and red pepper for me to get it down. The second one, I took a bite and had to stop. It was just plain terrible; the BBQ sauce tasted like watered-down Heinz crap, the chicken was dry and flavorless, the dough couldn't even hold itself together. I offered the second slice to the person I was with. He took a bite and threw it out, so I know it wasn't just my taste buds being off that day. The service was quick and friendly; I'd give them a few stars for that but I just can't justify it after eating such terrible food. read more

Best pizza in the South Jersey area. I have been coming here for close to three decades and it never gets old. The owners make you feel like family and they are so welcoming to new faces. This level of service that they have displayed over the years seems to b very contagious because all of their employees share this same attitude as the owners Over the years, I have turned many people on to People's Pizza and they will drive past 5+ pizza places just to get a pie from People's. We have always loved Peoples food and it's such a treat when we do get it. I love them even more now after a few months ago I went to pick up an order and my 3 year old decided to turn into satan and throw a fit as I'm trying to juggle him under my arm and food. Instead of judging me or watching as I was totally embarrassed my kid was acting that way, two men who worked there grabbed my food, held the door open for me and brought it out and put it in my van. Days with a toddler can be rough, and those two men were a breath of fresh air at the moment. So I'll say not only is their food absolutely amazing but so are their employees. read more

Best Pizza in the area. We eat here once a week and are never disappointed. The guys who run this place are hilarious. The Neapolitan and the Arugula are my favorites. The slices are very big (the cut their pies into 6 slices). They have tons of choices to choice from. I have never had it, but have been told the meatball sub is the best around. read more

Let me first start out by saying no ones family eats more pizza or tries more pizza than mine! My father alone eats pizza at least once every two days(and no, i'm not over exaggerating). I am all italian, born and raised in NJ. Pizza is religion in my family! Everytime we pass this place, are in the area, or leaving the Philadelphia airport to go home (People's Pizza is on the way home from the airport) it is a must stop! The employees are always smiling and cracking jokes. They are Italian and one of them speaks with a real heavy accent which makes it more comical when you hear them talk. They have all different kinds of pizza however I get the white pizza with tomato, broccoli, ricotta cheese, and garlic. I highly recommend it! The crust is crunchy on the edges but soft where the cheese meets the crust. The tomatoes, garlic, and broccoli are evenly spread throughout. The vegetables and the cheese are fresh. My family and I have been going here for years and I have tried so many other places I always keep coming back to this place!! The food is consistently good and the prices are good. After trying other pizza places I am usually let down and disappointed but this place has NEVER disappointed me. (a lot of pizza places that were once good changed their kitchens including the ovens which effects the pizza and thus the pizza changes and isn't as good anymore). A relative of mine always orders the cheesesteak every time he goes there. This family member travels a lot and tries cheesesteaks every chance he gets all over the country and no place satisfies his cheese steak craving like this place. The bread is perfect and the cheesesteak itself is to die for. The garlic knots are knots from heaven and I get those every time as well. We have also ordered pizza and cheesesteaks for takeout and they have been consistently good as well. The people who go there are all different ages and all different types. I've gone in wearing jeans a t-shirt or yoga pants and a tank top. I have also seen business men during lunch hours go there in suits and ties.
