My family and I have been coming here for years, but they recently lost my wife's rehearsal dinner dress. They said that they've lost other people's dresses, and also given some people the wrong dresses (swapped them) without noticing for months. To make matters worse, we were using them to preserve my wife's wedding dress, veil, and shoes. When we went to pick them up, everything was very sloppily tossed around in the box. This review is very overdue. Several years ago my in-laws lost their home due to a hurricane. The home was flooded and it had to be completely gutted. My husband and I took a boat to the home and grabbed what we could salvage including the window treatments. I brought the drapes from Southeast Texas and dropped them off at Pepper Square close to our Dallas home. Pepper Square cleaned the window treatments and stored them for us (for free) until the house could be repaired. These were very long and heavy curtains. They held them for us for OVER six months. Pricey, but their customer service is fantastic! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, especially for my most treasured possessions like carpets and gowns, but I might opt for a cheaper place to launder and press every day shirts. I was greeted when I walked in the door, and the gentleman behind the counter took the time to explain the service options available for my husband's work shirts. We agreed they would launder and press them using a light startch. The shirts came out perfectly and were ready for pickup the next day after 4:00 PM. I even received an email reminder that they were ready. When I did stop by, the staff offered to carry the items out to my car for me. They are conveniently located at the crossroads of Dallas, Addison and Richardson off of Beltline at Preston Road behind Trader Joe's. Lots of parking is available. It really is a perfect location. Unfortunately, my husband won't spend more than $2 per shirt, so I have to find another place, but I'm already planning my return trip here for a few special items. read more

Pepper Square Dry cleaners are thieves. Wanted to charge me $119 to dry clean two 8'x8' curtain panels! Twice as much as they cost brand new! I dropped them off and failed to ask how much it would cost and I was stunned when I went to pick up and they said $119! I thought they were joking! They gave me a 25% discount but I still paid $86 which is twice what I paid for them. I should've asked price up front but they should've gave me a heads up of the excessive cost. I wish now I didn't pay and just let them keep the 2 curtain panels. I went to 3 other dry cleaners in the area and all 3 said the cost would be $30 to dry clean 2 curtain panels. After returning to in person after working from home during COVID, I needed to dry clean some of my business blazers. The bill was $82 for 4 jackets. Its a jacket(size 4 petite). Half a suit. I don't remember the prices being this ridiculously high, but I'm sure this is not a new mode of operating for them as is evidenced by the other similar reviews. I am extremely disappointed but unfortunately not surprised. This type of behavior is common among a certain facet of our society. They charge more than a double from what I was used to, they charged me 31$ for 3 shirts and one pants which in my old cleaners would have charge 12-15$!! When I first walked in, I was greeted very quickly. I had 4 suits and a dress shirt - total was about $84, which is worth. They have free water bottles to. What I appreciate the most is the turnaround time - 1 business day and the quality was there. Everything was pressed and came out right with no issue. Pepper Square was one of the few places that was open Saturday, said they would accept the dress, and mail it back to me. They were very informative about cleaning grease from silk. I brought it in and Roberto and his partner were so nice and helpful!! They were optimistic about the cleaning and really spent time with me making sure they got all the right information. AMAZING dry cleaners. The owners is great & I've always had very positive experiences here. I think the pricing is very fair for what they do. I especially appreciate the delivery service they have where they pickup your dry cleaning & return it to your doorstep totally clean. Very convenient for when I need my items cleaned but I don't have time to drive over that way. They also have a wash & fold service which I have used a few times. My washer was broken for about a week & while I was waiting for a part Pepper square cleaners took in all my normal clothes for a basic wash, dry, fold service. I was in town for work and during my stay in dallas i found pepper square. From the beginning i was greeted politely, given a couple bags and a nice coffee cup gift package. I was given a "gift" as a small token for entrusting my garments to Pepper Square Cleaners. Although this was a nice gesture, I assumed there must be some hefty prices to accompany this gift. I was correct to assume. I dropped off 9 pair of work pants/capris and a jumpsuit. $80.64 was my total, $8.16/pair. That is way too expensive for a pair of Zara pants. We love Pepper Square cleaners and use them regularly. Their attention to detail is well- known, but yesterday they were extraordinary. During the ice storm, I wore an old cashmere sweater. It had several small moth holes, but I love the bright blue color. When it returned, the holes had been carefully repaired with matching blue thread. Every single hole had 'disappeared'. This wonderful care for customers' garments is their hallmark. They pride themselves on replacing missing buttons( notice the giant button in the front window).
