We went with rice bowls to go since we were traveling, and as always came away pleased with the taste, quality, and quantity. I haven't had a Pepper Jax craving in a long time, but today I was called to get myself a fresh absolutely delicious shrimp and chicken Philly sandwich! I never leave off the veggies, mushrooms, onion and green peppers are my go to every time! Wonderful job, this time around was the best it's ever been! My wife and I went here last week to finally try a 'famous' philly and was I impressed! I didn't think that it was going to be so good, but it really was. You walk in and you go up and place your order. Everything is made to order and you get to see the people make your food right in front of you, which is great to see. I ordered the fireball philly to go and it was delicious. The steak was cooked with Jalapeno juice and it was great. The meat was cooked properly, great seasoning, and the bread was nice and fresh too. I grabbed various sauces/marinades from the sauce station, asian, au jus, and some BBQ and they were all good. I also ordered fries and they were good too. All in all, I definitely want to come back to get another philly. Can't wait! read more

1st time at PepperJax and I was pleasantly surprised. TBH I thought it would be like any sandwich joint. Along with Philly's, they have salads, loaded fries or nachos and bowls! The hubs and son got the Philly, the daughter got loaded fries, the nephew got a side of fries and I got a chicken bowl. Everything was great and the portions were huge! The food was served fast the the staff was pretty friendly. Only complaint would be that it is hard for the staff to hear you over the grill and the place was a little messy (tables not cleaned, side bar dirty). Overall, I definitely wouldn't mind making another trip! read more

A++++ Customer Service! We visited Saturday 6/26/21 and all the staff working this lunch hour were funny, helpful, and just genuinely nice. The manager bonded with us as we have daughters around the same age. I love visiting places and getting to know the people. I want to say ever 10 mins someone was walking around asking if everything was good. I really enjoyed this visit. I would like to take the time to tell you what a wonderful manager you have at this store. My wife recently found out that she has celiacs and we have struggled to find places where she could eat out. After searching online we decided to eat at Pepperjax with friends for her birthday. Not only was the manager excedingly friendly but he took his entire staff and showed them how to clean and sanitize the entire grill and prep area as well as themselves. I have never been more impressed with a restauraunt manager in my entire life and I work in a service industry myself. Not only will we be returning often to this store but we will be telling our other friends how impressed we were with Pepperjax. read more

My review is just a touch bias since I was not eating dairy when I visited this location a couple months ago. I got the philly sandwich plain, no veggies and no cheese, and it was mediocre at best. It could very well be because of the lack of cheese, but I thought the bread and the meat were super dry and tough to chew and get down. The size of the sandwich was substantial for a philly and the fries were good. I wish they would put fries in a container other than styrofoam, as it makes them super soggy and hard to choke down. Inside the restaurant is pretty clean. It took a while to get through the line and get our food, so lend at least 10 minutes in and out on the weekend. When I can eat dairy again, I full intend to return and load on the cheese! read more

Their phillies are always good but I did an online pick-up order for the first time and it was extremely disappointing. It was maybe half-filled with meat and I ordered it with onions, jalapenos, and green peppers on it and there was none of that. Spencer the manager is a liar. He put jalepenos juice on my vegetables and the other cook put it on one of our sandwiches. Barely edible and Spencer lied about it. He said it must have been from the grill. I asked for his boSS' info and he said he couldn't give out their personal information. How is that personal informatio? The cooks were outstanding and the sandwiches were good. When we were at the paying station, the employee was checking off items on the closing sheet while we waited. The chairs were rocking with broken legs, the decor' is very shop worn, we had to juggle our food to our table without a tray, and the soda machine was leaking on us when we filled our drinks. I have only had the steak sub and fries. When you get both it is a huge amount of food. I love the subs. I have only had the steak with mushrooms and onions. I usually ask for extra mushrooms and onions and they are very generous. They toast the bun while the meat is cooking and then add cheese. I just love these sandwiches. They also have chicken and shrimp. In addition they have salads and rice bowls. To be honest the subs are so good I'm leery ti try anything else. I've seen the others and they look great. Again this is a chain but the service is courteous and quick and the food is tasty. Who can complain about that? read more

Wow...second and LAST time I was at this Pepperjax. The guy behind the counter dripped cheese all over the take out box for my order of loaded nachos. I mentioned it to him and he took his gloved finger and slopped it back into the main compartment. Gross! The "cheese" was so watered down that it tasted more like water. Awful! The floor was so greasy that I felt like I was walking on an oil slick. I've been to other Pepperjax and this one gets a D for dumb. read more

The food is always good and I always recommend the gourmet rice bowl with steak. The fresh rice with cilantro and philly seasoned steak compliments each other well when they meet in the bowl.
