Philly Sandwich with Fries
Bryan A.

On our way to an evening meeting on a Friday, we didn't have much time for dinner. However, the hostess and the waiter were both very understanding of our situation and they made sure that we were helped quickly. The restaurant was crowded, but service was great! I had the Philly which was delicious. Plenty of chicken, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and cheese on that sandwich! My wife was a big fan of the Texas Toast Grilled Cheese with added tomato. She got potato wedges and I got fries; both were very good. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Tish's and we will come back again when we have more time to enjoy the ambiance.

The service was beyond friendly from the get go being sat, even with a large group next to me she still checked on regularly. The atmosphere is so adorable and clean and chic. Felt very cozy here. The food tasted as good as it looks-- I ordered medium rare and would say it was closer to rare but tasted great and didn't need steak sauce! I prefer it be that way over being overcooked, so would just do medium. Will definitely be back! Thanks to the girls working!

I always look forward to coming here, until today. Was excited to try the beef stroganoff. But when it came I didn't even have an ounce of meat, palm size serving of beef and noodles. No mushrooms, sour cream or wine. Tasted like brown gravy mix. The green beans were okay, could tell they were once frozen. The little piece of crusted bread they gave me was tasty. Totally disappointed. My husband ordered the Aristocrat 16 burger and sweet potato fries. He enjoyed it. He knew I didn't care for mine and kept offering his. The restaurant started filling up after we got there, but always has a good noise level. Waitress did well, checked on us a couple times. I guess if I come back I need to stick to the Reuben or burger.

This place is just past the railroad bridge and you can almost miss it. The exterior is almost like it is a golf clubhouse so you might not think it is a open restaurant. Pretty good sized easy to navigate parking lot. When i stopped in around noon on a Tuesday it seemed like a pretty old-ish crowd. The booths are actually kinda tight in the main area near the interior bar. There is a pretty high vaulted ceiling so it could get kinda loud in there. The Staff was pretty dadang nice. I was listening to how they were treating everyone and it pleasant. The food we ordered up was pretty good but for the price it could have just a bit better. What I really liked was the raspberry mosow mule was damn near perfect!

What makes this place is the people. I loved the atmosphere, very neat and clean and comfortable. You could go business casual and have a nice meal or wear blue collar work clothes and still feel comfortable. The owner is engaged and very friendly. His care and attitude show with the staff. My waitress was prompt and friendly with the perfect amount of attention. The food was good too. I was looking for a tenderloin sandwich and Tish did not disappoint. The onion rings were not my favorite but not an issue, it was the sandwich I was looking for. If back in town, I will go back. Tish recommends the double cheeseburger so that is my order next visit!

Satisfying experience after a day driving Lincoln Highway - Chicago to Wyoming to Pacific Northwest road-trip. In the beginning the staff greeting was with non-welcoming attitude, that change a little throughout our dinner time. Locals seem to enjoy the small bar area and claim their seat there. Food was good, salads were fresh and perfect serving that satisfied our hunger. My old fashion was a little sweet from sugar not bitters. First I ordered a Boulevardier a Negroni variation, and the server came to i forming that they do not have Campari, bummed. The I was informed there were no cherries for the old fashion. Being the flexible me I settle for an old fashion with a Lin orange twist. Overall, it is an okay place to grab a bite and a cocktail (if you are into that). Good place for locals to hang out

OMG can I just take a moment to RAVE about this place? We were in the area and picked it based off Yelp reviews and our dining group dynamics. This always feels like a risky venture when you're deciding on an unknown (to you) place for a bunch of other people; it can be pretty hit and miss. But this place was a HIT. The menu is surprisingly extensive for a diner, with tons of unique options that still represent classic American tastes. We had a big group but were immediately seated in the back room, which gave our group's rambunctious kiddos a little space to get out the wiggles. They have kids menus and crayons! Service was super speedy with all those little touches - we ordered a lot of lemonades so they brought a carafe for easy self-refills. Appetizers and salads and entrees were timed perfectly and everyone's food came out at the same time. Speaking of appetizers, you must try the spinach dip! Sooo good and not huge portions, so it won't spoil your meal (although still enough to share with others). I ordered one of their wraps, and that special crispy cheese on the outside was just amazing. Kids meals came with ice cream and sprinkles so the kids were in heaven. Hopefully I'm not setting the bar too high for this place, but we just had an incredible experience. Those reviews that call this place a gem, they are not wrong.

We have gone a number of times. This was my first time for grilled cheese with tomato and bacon. It was perfectly grilled and the potato wedges were perfectly done. They didn't look like many but they were pleasantly satisfying and filling

This cozy and cute little lunch spot is fantastic for a fast casual bite to eat. Listen honestly I may have given it three stars. But it is clean, the service is good, and the soup was on point. The ruban's meat could have been more tender. But for a nice lunch this is definitely a place worth trying.

This place is just okay but seems to be a favorite for locals. The wait staff clearly knew most of the guests who appear to come every week. They have a nice outdoor space for dining and a full bar. I don't know that I'd come back here but seems like a good basic spot if you just want a burger.

After a couple of minutes, I went back up to the counter and asked if they had already started making it, because I wanted to change my order. The kitchen was open, so I said to the cook, "Don't worry about it if you've already started. I know my indecision can impact people, and I don't want to be a problem." He looked at me and said, "No, it's totally fine. Would you like some veggies on the side?" "Yes, that would be amazing," I said, and walked back to my table... and burst into tears. It wasn't just what he said. It was the kind energy in his eyes. I felt someone who took pride in what he was making, and who genuinely wanted people to be happy. I found myself asking, why am I crying? Because in a world where so many people in power feel disconnected, where corporations can make us feel like numbers, being genuinely cared for in a small café reminded me how much I love humans. Most people have love in their hearts and are trying to share it in their own small ways. As the world cracks, these simple things are more meaningful than ever.

Most of the highlight was the various types of burgers and fries they had, so my partner and I got two kinds, and we both enjoyed our respective meals. I had the block burger, which was as good as I imagined it to be, with juicy patty cooked to medium and every ingredient needed to make a good burger. The poutine had a lot of beef gravy and cheese curds, which made the dish a comprehensive experience to consume, rather than just fries. The duck duck goose fries were amazing! The duck confit, cheese curds, mayo, gravy, and gooseberry gastrique combination worked super well on top of the fries, because they altogether basically made it a gourmet dish that I had to eat with a fork. Finally, the sloppy nick was seasoned very well, even if we got the vegan version, which used impossible meat instead of ground beef. It was still really great!
