I love that Pepperoni's is open VERY late on Fri/Sat to satisfy my intense and illogical post-midnight pizza cravings. Small space: counter seating inside, couple of tables outside. People mostly do takeout, but since I live a 10min walk away, I love sitting outside and admiring Montrose at night. Friendly staff! Most important of all: THE PIZZA. Reasonable prices and I like that you can order a personal size 8 inch option for a small meal. The dough can be chewy but overall I would call Pepperoni's instead of any of the usual chains. The crust is thicker than thin and crunchy and not doughy. We had pizza tomato sauce put on the pizza and their pizza sauce is their best ingredient. We asked for extra and actually got it. Most places kind of skim on the pizza sauce even when you ask for extra. The buffalo wings were good. I would describe Pepperoni's as B/B+ pizza for B/B+ tier price. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it and I can only think of a few places that I would consider better and they charge more. If you had coupons or got a discount, they would be hard to beat. Pretty solid pizza place in Montrose near everything hip and cool. The best thing about this place: they sell slices. I give them some definite props for that (definitely affects my rating as well). The pizza was actually pretty good. I think by comparison I would say that Pink's is a bit better and Frank's slices are better (if you order them fresh). But still, the pizza was very solid. I ordered a slice of pepperoni and while we were there they had an order of thin crust pineapple that got cancelled so we were given a few slices for free. Those were pretty good too. I would definitely come back, though this wouldn't be my go-to pizza joint. We also ordered a cannoli since we saw them on the menu. Very large cannoli for the price and really not badly done.
