I was then transferred to someone else, and the attitude only got worse. Every answer came across as rude and dismissive, as if I was inconveniencing them just by asking questions. I was told I couldn't book less than four hours over the phone, but if I walked in I could. I was also told there are no refunds, even if you only end up using one hour of the required four-hour rental. The policies are frustrating enough, but the way they were communicated made the experience even worse. Customer service costs nothing. If someone calls with a simple question because your online booking isn't working, the least they deserve is to be treated with respect. Based on my experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

They had a pool table in the middle of the main room, which added a lot to the vibe. Unfortunately there were way too many people in there to play. It was pretty crowded but it they did have a backroom with another bar that helped with the overflow. I didn't get anything to drink but I tried a few of my friends and they were very good. This was my first time in Roxy's and it was a Saturday at about 1:30. This particular Saturday the Kat Von D black tulip field down the street was nearing the end of its life. This town was bustling with people. I walked into Roxy's and stood in the doorway not quite knowing what to do, do you wait for someone to greet you here? Still not sure about that but finally I saw a couple seats at a high top next to the bar and I walked over and sat down. The inside of the restaurant was full and the outdoor patio was filling up as well. I was right next to the bar so the bartender was right behind me and waitresses were right behind me constantly. It still took almost 20 minutes just to get a menu, as a matter of fact we did not get a menu until the waitress came over to take our order and we said we do not have a menu. My girlfriend and I decided on a flatbread to split and some truffle fries to split. We ordered our cocktails, she had The Roxy and I ordered the Carajillo. We went to order when she brought our cocktails back and she said, "Oh, I forgot to tell you, we cannot do flatbreads because the dough is not ready and we are out of the soup." So we did not want her to get away so we quickly decided on something else. My friend ordered a roast beef sandwich and I stuck with the truffle fries. The place is cute on the inside and it was clean. We received our food and the food was enjoyable, my fries were hot and crisp with a lovely lemon aioli on the side for dipping and my friend said her sandwich was good. It was a really good thing we were not in a big hurry. We will be making more trips to Vevay as very soon Kat Von D is opening a new clothing shop and we want to go to see it. I also took advantage of the ladies night menu and got a $5 cucumber mint G&T. The cocktail pricing is what you'd expect, ranging from $12 to $16. The wine list is not extensive and I would not describe this as a wine bar. But, I would come here seeking a fancy cocktail anyway. No food served, but door dash menus are available and there is also a limited menu for direct delivery from the Indian restaurant across the road. The outdoor patio looks nice. We were there on the earlier side, around 5 PM on a weekday. Service was pretty attentive with only one waitress handling the tables. I think if they found a way to serve some simple appetizers and put in a railing along the walkway from the parking lot to the door (thinking of my husband here) I'd give it five stars. They have a weird rule in that they insist on scanning your ID, regardless of age, up until 7 PM any day - this is so that no one who orders a drink can go next door and shoot (where they also scan IDs). The shooting range closes at 7 PM. So shoot first, drink later.
