We ordered the gyro as a plate, and you can pick your protein - we both wanted the lamb, but unfortunately they were out. So we both went with the pork instead. You get to pick your side, I went with the Greek salad to start, which was decent sized for a side salad. The gyro plate was really good - generous portion of pork, lettuce, tomato, onion, slices of pita bread, a few French fries, and tzatziki. The food was delicious, and generously portioned, I brought most of my pita bread home. We will absolutely be back to explore more of the menu!

Turns out after doing some reading on the inter-webs, pork is actually the authentic Greek preparation and the lamb/beef is the more Turkish/American take on it. Either way, one bite and I was a convert. The grape leaves were everything you want them to be; briny, punchy, and packed with filling. No complaints there. As for the ambiance, another reviewer put it best: "I wouldn't take my first date here." Fair enough. But for a quick, no-fuss lunch? It was perfect.
