This place makes my husband's favorite pizza, the Margherita. Fresh tomatoes, delicious cheese and terrific pesto on a crisp flatbread crust make this a great pizza. We ordered a disappointing takeout lunch. We were told 35 minutes and that was accurate, but both sandwiches had burnt dry chicken. The wicky was edible because of the sauce, but the chicken parm was not. The french fries were very good. The menu is sparser, focusing on just sandwiches and flatbreads. * While it's not intended for dine-in, there are a couple of tables just in case someone does want to. Or to wait. Mind the wait. Our order was placed at 4:50 and we were told to pick it up at 5:40. For two sandwiches and one flatbread? When we got there at 5:45 they were still backed up and ours was a few minutes out. Our presence may have spurred them to finish ours faster, but if I'm ordering sandwiches and flatbread, in my experience that's a half hour or less to begin with, not the 50 minutes. Oh, and while I wasn't the one placing the order, I'm told they somehow interpreted my sandwich as a pasta entree. Huh? And it was to be picked up at the regular Crisp restaurant? So we called and squared that away, and it did come out a sandwich. I also saw that our order only showed two sandwiches, but when we got there the correct third sandwich was included. So at least everything came out how we ordered. I can't speak to the flatbread - not my style as a New York-area native - but the sandwich was... I'll say a small step below our local Tony Boy's back in NJ. Flavor rather lacking. The "spicy sauce" wasn't spicy to my tongue, which I was hoping for with a name like "wicky-wicky". (The main restaurant indeed has that as a pasta dish. The server should know that Too has it as a sandwich.) I asked for a side of the sauce to dip and that kinda saves some of the flavor. Tony Boy's can get the flavor right onto the sandwich so you don't need that side. I'm not a big sandwich guy, I'll admit. There's only a few places I'm willing to spring for, such as the one mentioned above. But to even compare a place to Tony Boy's is a good start. This review could easily be 4 stars instead of 3 if the kitchen can get things moving a bit better and trim down those hour-long wait times. (And we're in winter - I shudder to think how long the wait would be during tourist season.) The 5th star would take some culinary effort, but if you are sandwich-oriented yourself, I wouldn't talk you out of Crisp Too. I would just tell you to bring something to do to wait. read more

Ordered takeout. Tried the cheese, Portuguese and caliente. They were all a hit. For anyone that likes spicy, caliente is your jam. Loved the flavors of the Portuguese. Reminds me a little of Sweet Tomatoes pizza for anyone that is familiar. Sauce was nice and pizza is thin. Everyone loved it. They were also very accommodating and careful about French fries for a dairy allergy. You need to keep an eye on wait times. Not sure what takes so long for orders especially being open year-round. I'd wait almost 2 hours on a "busy" night for a pizza and salad. I definitely appreciate the promotional efforts in winter months such as a surprise envelope. However, I feel like more discounts for locals or lower prices in generally would be ideal. Overall, great location and staff, the fire pits outside are always fun (at the regular crisp), just wish the price points and timing of food was improved. Crisp is a great spot to have lunch. Everything I have tried on menu is delicious. The pizza is the best, Caliente my favorite! Fresh salads, filling subs, great fries, and the best sangria. Presumably this is the to-go arm of Crisp, because this is where we ended up when we first tried to order Crisp online through Chowhound, but had too many questions, and decided to call in our order. We had a Margherita, a Caliente, and a custom build which was more than enough food to feed 4 people. They call them flatbreads but to me, it's a normal thin-crust people. They're round, not square, which along with thin crust would be how I'd define flatbread, but I digress. The food was great, the pickup service efficient if not particularly friendly, and based on my studying of Yelp, I think this is the best pizza within 10 miles of Osterville, maybe 20. Oddly, while swimming in clam and lobster shacks, it seems like the Cape runs short on quality pizza places. This is one. Try it. read more

Long wait for take out pizza. About 55 minutes quoted that ended up more like 65. The salad got lost somewhere so the pizza sat in the heater for longer than I would have liked. Ordered the margarita should have looked at the ingredients first. It had some kind of sweet tasting green pesto/balsamic on top. Not to my liking, but one person in my party thought it was great. To understand the full scale of Crisp's greatness, peep the Yelp listing for the full-service restaurant located just down Main. Here, though, is where they're looking to off-shoot the crazy takeout biz Crisp gets, so the seated customers at the resto aren't waiting a millennium to feast. As such, the menu is very similar, with all the pizzas, sandwiches and salads avail from the mothership made fresh for either a seated snack in-house (a few high tops pepper the waiting area) or a meal on the run. Want a good reason to eat in? Maine Root soda fountain with free refills. A few local brews are on tap, as well, but don't expect the full bar. You'll even find the pricing a bit different here: most sandwiches are a buck or two less. Buyer beware: it's because everything's a la carte. If you want those fries, you'll have to order a side. Her duck bacon pizza ($18) is a long-standing favorite, and the new oven nailed the signature crispy crust. I do though take exception after witnessing a family who placed their order 20 minutes after us be finished with their salads, wings, and pies by the time we received our order. We shouldn't have to ask about our order status three times. It is also a little disingenuous to say wood-fired pizza, when it appears not all are made in a wood-fired oven. Not one of our pies was made in the wood-fired oven in the front, but instead in your regular run of the mill deck oven in the back. The smokey taste was not present. I had low expectations for Crisp Too given the reviews, but I was craving thin crust pizza and it seems you can only get takeout from Crisp Too (not the original Crisp location which seems to have much better reviews), so I figured I'd give it a shot. I ordered the margarita pizza and the Greek salad. The Greek salad was so delicious- the ingredients were super fresh and they accommodated to my requests for dressing and feta on the side. The pizza also hit the spot! I will say though that I expected the basil drizzle to be the highlight and turns out it kind of added a strange flavor and next time I will request without. That's just a personal preference though- the pizza was hot, crispy and delicious! This will definitely be our go to spot. read more

Stopped in for a couple quick slices ( the full serve location is just down the street but parking is limited and was packed). 2 nice sized slices of pepperoni (real pepperoni!) and a drink for under $9. People at work got this for lunch, one buffalo chicken pizza and the other was like bacon and balsamic type of pizza, plus a salad, wow was it bad. Just like crisp the toppings were tasty but the crust is even worse than the original. Instead of being "Burnt to a Crisp 2" it was completely undercooked and basically doughy if that's even possible. Not sure what all the hype is about this place. Since covid19 has been going on me and my GF have been staying home but going out on Saturdays to go out and try new pizza places and just to get out of the house. I use to be in the resturaunt business on the cape for ten years.The menu sounds great with all there grass fed meatballs and there nitrate free pepperoni ect. So we ordered a pepperoni, mushroom, whole mozzarella and cheddar cheese pizza with extra sauce. Well we got there 10 minutes early and a girl came out to the car to ask us if we placed a order and we said yes. We waited 10 more minutes for our pizza. I watched the staff work through the window. Nobody had on face mask on and some were wearing gloves but they exited the building and touched door handles and the went back in and handled food. While we sat there we noticed a black Toyota Tundra that pulled up and a gentleman get out with what looked liked a napkin holder and walked in. He looked like the owner or a manager at least. Same no precautions to what is going on. The pizza was very bland i didn't get any extra sauce and there was bearley any nitrate free pepperoni or mushrooms on the pizza. I will not return or recommend this place and if i have written this review i am more than disatisfied for a $20 plus pizza. Craigville Pizza is a better option for less money. As big fans of Crisp, my boyfriend and I were excited to try Crisp Too last night after a day at the beach. We called, put in our order and were told 30 minutes. When we arrived (about 5-10 minutes earlier than it was supposed to be done) we expected to have to wait a few minutes. We waited for over an hour for one pizza and an order of wings! I know the place is new and it's natural to have growing pains for the first few weeks but there were at least 10 people inside waiting for over 30 minutes. It's faster to call the Crisp restaurant across the street and get one! We did notice that a lot of people were buying over 5 pizzas at once-perhaps there needs to be time limit of when you can do this? (ie. call at least 2hrs ahead of needing 12 pizzas) Overall the food was amazing, it always is but it was a bummer to have this long of a wait time. Hoping it gets faster in the upcoming weeks. Absolutely terrible. I have no idea why we continue to go! For starters, they do not have the full menu of Crisp. Our pizzas were cooked fine but the buffalo chicken pizza lacked the key ingredient.... buffalo chicken and had way too much cheese. The main thing on it was the pineapple. The duck bacon pizza was ok. The buffalo meatballs were just blah. We normally never have leftovers but there were plenty this time and they are already in the garbage. We would have gone to the regular crisp across the street but they claimed a 45min wait when the parking lot was only half full and there was nobody waiting in the waiting area. Extremely disappointing for a birthday dinner. If your looking for a bite to eat, stick to the 99 over crisp too. For $120 in food, this was a terrible choice. read more

Went based on a trusted recommendation. Sorely disappointed. Had the garlic knots (just greasy bread that tasted old covered w that cheap parmesan cheese that is ubiquitous in poor quality pizza joints and zero garlic flavor), truffle pizza (whatever they use to season it was clustered into a single slice - the rest of the pizza was just cheese and french fries, another greasy mess) and the duck bacon pizza (lacked multiple of the ingredients listed on the menu). Nothing tasted good at all, something I would expect if it cost half the price. As it stands, we will not be returning here for takeout pizza. read more
