    Chicken parm sub
    Adam B.

I hate to write a bad review for a local business ... but we spent nearly $40 on food for 3 people and all admitted it was some of the worst food we've ever eaten. Out of all the items, the pizza was a bit above mediocre and edible ... so if you go here, skip the sandwiches and go with the pizza. I ordered a chicken parm sub and it was by fair the most disgusting sandwich I've had. The bread was like the 99 cent bags of hot dog buns at the supermarket. There were spots caked in flour and there was no substance, and likely high fructose corn syrup. The bread, though gross. was the least of the issues. There was crunchy black soot all over one end of the sub. These chicken tenders HAD to be reheated a couple times. It seemed like food that was made and reheated and then heated again. Forget rubbery chunks of chicken ... these had the texture of plastic. Chewy and almost crunchy hard. Some of the chicken pieces were breaded and others were dry and had no breading. It was also bland and flavorless, the way plastic would be. The sauce tasted mildly of vomit. The steak and cheese was dry, chewy flakes of meat. Flavorless and overcooked. These cheese on both subs had no flavor, was white American-tasting cheese that looked translucent as if someone dripped wax on the bread. Overall, this was just a mess. I really wanted to like it as it had the look of a 1980's pizza/grinder shop in New England while I was growing up. But, the food was literally inedible except for the pizza ... no quality control, corners cut and reheated. Sorry, I would love to support local businesses but feel I must share this with others as $40 is hard to come by these days and we had to throw away half our subs they were so bad.

    Pepperoni and mushroom pizza

Awesome pizza!!! My fiancé and I spent Valentine's Day weekend in Dennis Port and I was craving pizza for some reason. We called one place that wasn't open yet and Brothers luckily was because man, this pizza was phenomenal. A very thin, light crust with just a little crisp is cooked perfectly under stringy, tasty mozzarella and a sweet and flavorful sauce. We also got a small garden salad that was fresh and complimented the pizza well. I think it was luck that I walked in to pick it up as they pulled it out of the oven. Highly recommend!

The jalapeño poppers were probably the best I've ever had! I also ordered the chicken broccoli alfredo pizza which was very good!

While trying things on the menu I was happy to pick the shrimp tacos. They were perfectly cooked with pico, cotija cheese, and siracha aioli. The crust on the batter was flaky and light. Not a heavy batter and it didn't overpower the flavor of the shrimp. The shrimp tacos are not gluten free and they have a minimal amount of gluten-free options available. Most of their sandwiches have a gluten-free roll available for an extra two dollars. If you have a severe gluten allergy/ celiac disease, I probably would not risk most of the menu items. Thankfully, we were also able to order a rice bowl with plain swordfish and had no allergy related side effects afterwards. The kids menu is also great for options for littles while dining here. The view is nice, crowded if you're seated outdoors but the staff is awesome which makes it feel more like you're going to a friends house to eat. I'd come here again for drinks on the patio as their drink menu looked so good. A great stop for an outdoor lunch or quick stop with friends.

We ended up there on a Wed (happened to be our anniversary) so I only experienced the à la carte menu. Highly recommend reservations as it's a small restaurant. Parking is limited but you can park in the lot of a nearby furniture store ( across the street and a half a block east). Our server ( Maeve) is very pleasant and helpful. All staff members we encountered greeted us and seem happy to be working there. Not a full bar but many nice choices. We enjoyed Pinot noir from Oregon. We had delicious oysters, a fresh salad, Portuguese clams, and a swordfish dish. Also had a "fancy" Hoodsie dessert that was quite good. All our items were first rate. Other dishes served at neighboring tables also looked great. Noise level in restaurant is very tolerable. Pricing seemed very reasonable given quality. **** It merits stating that this restaurant( Lune) is well staffed for the number of customers they serve. We had terribly slow service the night before at Viera on Main ( Chatham) because they don't have enough staff. Lune provided very attentive service to go with their high food quality and flavor.

The meal was almost perfect--nearly all of the courses were introduced expertly and executed with haute precision. The prix fixe menu is offered on weekends, and it looked, as you can see, exciting. My favorite courses were the caviar and dessert. The white asparagus course was inspired and delicious, though it needed another minute or two to achieve a perfect texture. The sous vide veal breast was a miss. The ratio of meat to fat skewed too heavily toward fat. The diners I observed around me at the bar all left fat on their plates. That said, the sauce and spinach accompaniments were delicious. The bread, optional caviar, and dessert courses were brilliant. The wine pairings fell a bit flat, I thought--they were all good, but none compelled me to ask for more or to see the labels for later purchase. I loved watching the culinary theater from the bar seating. It was a bit more hectic than I recall from my last visit, but it was clear that the staff were working hard and collaborating effectively. A talented local artist's work on the walls here could definitely elevate the ambiance.
