Went there last night for my wife's 65th birthday. Was able to scramble up my children so we all could spend the night having a dinner together. Made reservations for a specific table, when we got there, it was being used by other guests. Spoke to the hostess explained that we made made reservations for that table. Her condescending remark was., " do you want me to throw them off that table?" Because of the time there was no way to make reservations at any other establishment, so we decided to stay there, they sat us in a brightly lit area off from the main dining room. The food came out, extremely slow one at a time My wife's food was wrong. Sent it back, by the time everyone else was finished with their food. She still had not received her plate. Again called the hostess over to tell her to take it off the bill we are leaving. She said sorry it takes a while to cook baked scallops. Keep in mind this is at least 20 to 25 minutes later. She said, would you like to take that dish home, I said absolutely not. That's when she said in that case I will definitely take it off the bill! I would never go back to this place. I would never recommend this place, the food was at Best. OK the service was at Best OK. The hostess was condescending and cocky. My wife left that place in tears as she didn't even get to eat on her birthday. read more

Everything about this master piece was delish. Tzatziki had perfect tanginess , thin sliced red onions like I enjoy ( OMG ) and shaved spit roasted pork. How can you go wrong with this combination , YA CANT ! Brings me to my last treat and a glass of Sangria but not just any I've ever had before but a Pink Lemonade one and oh man it was a thirst quenching tasty beverage. Was not expecting such a flavorful cocktail yet it was to me delight. As for the establishment it was a typical Greek place and as you enter you see all the Greek decorations and mints yet they also have a case of deserts which looked amazing.... We drove 45 minutes to try out this restaurant and we were a bit disappointed. We went primarily because the had octopod their menu. It was in a sauce over rice.. it was just ok.. a bit salty. I opted for a pork YIRO and he had baked lamb shank. The YIRO meat wasn't seasoned enough and they use a regular PITA BREAD of which they did not warm at all. Generally it is another kind of bread that has a crispness to it and always warm. I had to ask for extra tzatziki because the YIRO was dry. I upgraded to regular fries which were really good. Was hoping for this place to be a hit but three stars is all I can give it. Considering the long ride I don't think we will be back. Our server Brandy did a great job and I was sure to give her a good tip. She deserved it. read more

Came out for my mothers birthday, and the pregnant hostess was extremely rude to my mother. She called in front of me to place the reservation & the girl that took the call was very sweet about the simple request to a very specific table for a sentimental reason. We walked into the restaurant and my mother reminded the hostess of the specific table that she had requested, She literally batted her eye lashes & rolled her eyes and told my mother "it's not available, it won't fit your party" (we had 6- the table very clearly can fit 6 people) And then when my mother continued to say "I'm sorry, I know it's just a table but this makes me really upset" The pregnant hostess continues to say "well I'm not sure what I can do for you, I can offer you a feee appetizer" The physical body language, with the verbiage that was being used was super unprofessional, and quite honestly made our entire group extremely uncomfortable. My guy got the chicken park sub and his daughter got a chicken Caesar salad and they both enjoyed their meal. Those fries were so good I had to steal some from his plate. Full disclosure: I am Greek (and an excellent cook). (My 3 stars is a generous rating). For the few items I tried I make my comments: Calamari is supposed to have a light breading but our's were served with a very heavy breading and the calamari under the breading were very rubbery. The meat grape leaves were served broken and the filling inside came crumbling out. Meat grape leaves should have a lightly but packed filling filled with meat and Greek herbs with a little rice. The accompanying avgolemono sauce lacked lemon. My avgolemono soup had elements of a cross between two Greek soups: avgolemono and margeritsa. It also lacked lemon and in my experience should not contain carrot and dill. The Greek fries were good. Their feta cheese is good quality and sprinkled with oregano. But their tzatziki sauce lacked garlic. The waitress was polite but lacked the ability to identify the Greek names of foods. She checked up on us and refilled our drinks. The ambience was definitely Greek and that was comforting. Definately, there is room for improvement. read more

We usually dine here 1 a month. Went in on a weekday place was empty. Ordered lamb kabobs and rice pilaf. Pilaf was dry and had no flavor. Lamb was over cooked and small pieces. Didn't eat 2nd kabob and told waitress. She said ' why did you wait so long to say something' I said well didn't see you for 20 minutes why does that matter. It's a hidden Greek gem in Taunton... We went twice - once before we moved to Taunton and once after... and you know what! We will come back! Service is always attentive with a generous pour...Food is pretty good but we experienced a little disappointment while not receiving additional olives that we asked for as a side of our Hummus, Tzatziki and Red Pepper Feta Dip trio... I wish I took a picture before we licked our fingers over empty bowls... ... there is just the right amount of dips and pita bread and I was burping garlic next few hours! (- it's a compliment!) The lamb skewers were off the hook with rice that was right on. The starter Greek Side Salad had the creamiest feta (and a load of it) that had a fresh mild taste. I noted that they did have a lot of gluten free options which was nice. I tried a bite (or three) of my friends Moussaka and it was to die for!!! My sister has been craving Greek food and my mom found this place on Yelp, and boy was it a score. Food was amazing, loved the hummus and pita and their french fries. Sometimes it's hard to find vegan options at restaurants but they had no problem making a wrap with the veggies I wanted, which was broccoli, spinach, onions, and hummus on wheat. Hummus was definitely a good call. The restaurant was cute and clean. Service was also incredible; our waitress was Brandi and she was probably the best waitress I've ever had. Last week I ordered a Greek salad. It was fantastic. A bit pricey(highest in the city) but worth it. Yesterday I ordered another. It was placed in the bag upside down or it was dropped. I opened the salad when I got home and only saw lettuce. Everything else was on the bottom of the container. I asked for no olives. They were in the salad. No pita bread either. Thank you) So I went to the restaurant In Taunton. I got on my car and the bag was leaking. not a little a lot I carried it all away to the doorway and it was still leaking. I left it outside for a couple minutes so it wouldn't smell at my house since it already smell up my car. I got the muscles with pasta. the pasta was great,muscles there about three of them that were chewy. Three large shrimp one of them had poop in it. The baklava Was tasty but It was more like a cake,tons of filling in the middle. When I was there most of the to go orders were pizzas maybe next time I'll just get a pizza. read more
