Food/Drinks: We opted for pickup, and this was our first time in the area. We tried the calamari pizza, and saying it was one of the best I've ever had would be an understatement. It was absolutely delicious the sauce was perfectly balanced, and the flavors were spot-on. I would genuinely make the trip back to Cape Cod just to have this pizza again. Location: The restaurant itself looks inviting , perfect for a first date, a family outing, or really any occasion. Since we only did pickup, I didn't get the full dine-in experience, but the atmosphere seemed warm and welcoming. Service: Although we only picked up our order, the service was prompt and efficient. Service was a 4-5, very good. Ambiance was 4. Well decorated with music playing (Greek?). It's the food that is the issue. I'm here for work and needed a quick healthy meal. Ordered the Greek salad ($21) with a side of gyro meat ($12). For the price I was expecting an exceptional salad. What I got was basically a "make your own" salad with 4 huge slices of cucumber, 3 fat slices of tomato and almost 1/2 of a red onion (see picture). When I saw it I thought it was a mistake so I commented to the waitress "I ordered the Greek salad" to which she replied "this is that". So I began to slice up the ingredients to make my salad. I dropped a wet olive on my suit pants so that wasn't a good start to my meal. The gyro meat was more like beef brisket that was not seasoned. It had big chunks of gristle. I would have thought ordering gyro at a Greek restaurant would have been a good bet. $40+ (after tax and tip) for a lunch is a bit ridiculous for a salad that I have to make myself. read more

Probably the best Greek option in the area, nice atmosphere inside, friendly staff. The food was good, menu has the classics and done well. I enjoyed dining outside. Came in with low expectations and was still slightly disappointed with the food. The appetizer sampler was very salty (although that could be expected from feta, sausage, olives) but the spanakopita had an excellent filling to pastry ratio. The steak kebab was underseasoned and dry. The shrimp was well seasoned but still dry. Neither were overcooked, but just not that good. The orzo stew was a little watery, and tasted like sour mush. The salad looked like it came from a cafeteria. Cocktails were sweet and refreshing. The service was friendly and the vibes were excellent. Between that and the fact that I parked and walked in without a reservation, I enjoyed the meal thoroughly. (Last visited 5/4/2022.) While vacationing in Cape Cod with my wife we stumbled upon Estia at the end of downtown Falmouth so we had to check it out. Here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: The outside of this place looks pretty legit and pretty chill. It's a Greek restaurant so there's lots of use of white painted bricks, a gorgeous outdoor section and lots of big glass windows. Inside though... this place really opens up! The ceiling is tall, the space is wide open and there are so many sections. It's really quite a large restaurant with a fish tank in the middle, several dining sections, a stone oven and a beautiful rustic/modern interior. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but she was the bartender at the time. She was sweet, patient, funny, had great recommendations and made sure that we had a great time. Food: The complimentary bread/oil was an excellent touch and it harps back to Europe's "no-butter" approach to bread. However, I'm American, so I would've liked some butter or seasoned oil. Lol. For an appetizer I went with the traditional Greek salad. It consists of mixed greens, super creamy feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, olives and sprinkled with a delicious creamy dressing. It was light, the mixed greens were crispy and like I've already mentioned, delicious. For my entree I went with the lamb loin chops! This consists of 2 8 oz. pan-seared loin lamp chops drizzled with a Mavrodaphne demi-glaze and for my side I went with the mizithra mashed potatoes. Think of them as Greek mashed potatoes, it's hard to explain. These were delicious. There was a bone in each of the chops that you have to eat around, but it was totally worth it. Value: This place isn't bad at all. It's definitely a 3 out of 4 $$$ so that means to bring your wallet, but you won't leave wondering if you didn't get your money's worth. In conclusion, I loved this place and would certainly come back here! I would explore other parts of the menu to see what kind of range the chef has! ;-) read more

Our server Steve was amazing! Outside tables were so cute, we were with a large group for a bachelorette party - maybe a little rambunctious but Steve was great and answered all our questions on food and drinks. For appetizers, I recommend the Sampler, zucchini chips, and octopus. For dinner, I recommend the grilled lamb and the fig raviolis. With the lamb, I ordered a glass of the Kechris Genesis Red, which was good! If you like white wine - Highly recommend a bottle of the Gavalas Santorini (100% Assyrtiko grapes)! They don't take reservations in the summer, however, we originally came here on a Friday evening in July and were told they couldn't take anyone else on their waitlist for the night, which was frustrating. We did go back the next day for lunch and are glad we did! The vibe is fun and somewhat trendy. The food is amazing!! Such great flavor. I ordered the Spanakopita, which came with a small Greek salad. So, so good!! The bread they give you to start with the olive oil was 10/10. My son order a lamb ciabatta sandwich with truffle fries. Had a Greek salad. They used limp mixed greens rather than Romaine lettuce and were stingy with the Kalamazoo olives, allotting only 4. When I asked about whether they could use Romaine lettuce they said they did not because they had none. So it was basically just a salad with a few Kalamata olives. For $21. I was not impressed. We tried the lamb burger that comes with a side salad ($25) and an octopus appetizer ($26). The octopus appetizer was not great as said in the reviews - too charred, great texture, but very little taste. Guess since I grew up eating this as a regular dish, it was nothing special in my eyes. Moussaka was fabulous but a fairly large portion. Shareable dish as it is fairly large. . Lobster ravioli was delish, as were the shrimp kebabs. Dessert - chocolate cake was amazing but portokalopita was just ok. I should have stuck with the baklava, which sounded and looked great. Service was great, water was refilled. Great quality with everything! PIKILIA - we got the TYROKAFTERI (feta+roasted poblano ) which was our favorite, then the TZATZIKI and AVOCADO FETA. The tyorokafteri was creamy and had bits of the actual pepper in the hummus, and was roasty, creamy, nutty and delicious. Tzatziki was heavily seasoned with dill, cucumber and robustly flavored with that nice clean, tartness from the yogurt. The avocado feta was also super flavorful, and quite heavy on the feta pungent-ness, which was a little much for me but feta lovers this is for you! The pita was fluffy and chewy :) GRILLED OCTOPUS Tender pieces of octopus with a nice bouncy chew that doesn't overstay its welcome. Nice char, and acidity from the lemon. SPANOKOPITA Large, flaky feta cheese spinach in phyllo dough. They do not skimp with the filling, and the flavor was spot on, though I wish the item held up structurally better as when you go to fork or cut it, the filling spills out and the dough remains uncut - but this might just be a symptom of them stuffing it and giving you your moneys worth! Either way, yummy, and moderately oily but what can you expect from spanokopita? LOUKANIKO GYRO Greek sausage pita sandwich. They top it off with a few fries - the greek way! The fries were nicely crispy and potatoe-y. The pita was fluffy. The greek sausage's skin was hard to bite through after getting through the tender meat and had a smokey flavor. Enjoyable. GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH Tender grilled chicken with crispy, toasty, airy bread and a nice layer of guac and bacon to add some creaminess and savoriness. Really good even though you may not think much of a grilled chicken sandwich SHRIMP SAGANAKI OUZO Lots of shrimp pieces in a tomatoey, herby sauce. Great job! FRIED COD W RISOTTO The fried cod was well fried and flaky - falls apart to your fork. Good flavor and acidity from the lemon; the risotto was DELICIOUSLY creamy and cheesy and highly recommend getting this as your side or something with this! Lemon herb potatoes as one of our sides was also really well roasted, soft, bright and lemony without being too salty or sour. Surprisingly delicious Greek restaurant! Abundant and delicious portions, friendly service, charming ambiance.

We arrived in Falmouth after a long drive, we were hungry and headed to check in at our nearby inn. We had lived in the area years ago and did not know this restaurant had opened in recent years as our last visit had been in 2017. We love Greek food and had recently been to a community Greek festival in CT and thought it would be fun to have wider options than festivals allow. We were seated immediately as it was early for locals to eat, a rainy and cool night and not many people out and about on the streets. We ordered a variety of small plates, though this right for two to share and found that to be true. Yes, like most good family restaurants these days, prices are higher than in the past. Salaries of staff and cost of ingredients need to be reflected in the prices if any place like this is to stay in business. We like the team approach in serving. Many restaurants in our home area do this now too. It is efficient and with good coverage nothing gets overlooked. It appeared that families were welcome as were people that appeared to be on a date night. Nice to accommodate children at this earlier hour. We also returned our last night in Falmouth as it was so close by the inn. We found easy parking both evenings, given that summer season is over and the weather was not good. Over the course of both meals, we enjoyed the traditional pork gyro with a side of sweet potato fries, the lamb "lollipops", a shrimp kabob with side salad and an order of sweet potato fries, yes they were that good we had them both nights, with baklava, and galaktoboureko for desserts. We had coffee and tea both nights to drink. We liked everything, all the portions were ample and our favorite single item were the lamb lollipops. We had expected a chunk of grilled lamb on a skewer but what arrived were 4 thin sliced, very high end petite, young and tender grilled rib chops. Rib chops are my favorite cut of lamb and these were perfect. The chops were "frenched" as for rack of lamb and grilled perfectly medium and easy to pick up by the bone. If I lived nearby, I could order this frequently with a salad and those sweet potato fries and call it a meal at that. With dessert of course and a glass of wine if the occasion appropriate. read more

Estia is clean and elegantly designed for ambiance. The staff is young, polite, and immediate in their attentions to please. The food is very good standard fare Greek cuisine, but no better than Greek Town Detroit or Queens,NYC. It's designed for fine dining, but it is not a fine dining restaurant. The prices are exorbitant for what it is. I don't mind paying fine dining prices for fine dining. We paid close to $300 for four people to eat fast food. read more

The menu is very large with a variety of meat, seafood, pasta, pizza, and few healthier options. We didn't get pizza but having a real pizza oven in a Mediterranean place is a great option. The lamb shank was enormous. The rack of lamb was actually smaller but also a large portion. The octopus appetizer was expensive but delicious and a good amount that you could share with four or so people if you wanted to. Zucchini chips were definitely lightly fried so if you're looking for a crispy chip that's not what you're getting. The fig martini was too sweet for me and had a lot of chunks are the bottom so I wouldn't get that again. Overall the food was all very good but overpriced, even for the cape. The only main critique was the service was very disorganized. The staff was all very helpful and apologetic but from running out of menus to the process of getting a table the experience was not as smooth as it should be at a more upscale restaurant. Again, the staff was good just I think better systems need to be put in place so food and drinks come out on time you don't have to wait so long at the hostess stand. read more

Terrible service. Mediocre overpriced food. Our party of 9 went to Estia with high hopes. Two in our party had been before and enjoyed their meal. We cannot say the same. Service was poor. Waitress was inattentive unless you wanted to order more over priced drinks. She didn't even notice that one member of our group didn't get their dinner. How is everything she asked cluelessly. Everything was mediocre at best. My sister's steak was raw despite the fact she ordered medium rare. She had to send it back and it still wasn't right. When they did finally bring the forgotten entré, it was dry and crusty. Seems they forgot it under the warming lamp. And don't plan to be Eder steak unless you want to pay over $50 for it. The worst part is that they added a 22% tip to our bill!!!! I don't mind tipping generously when service is good and the meal is delicious. This was neither. When we asked to have it taken off the waitress said 'It want my fault' WOW! I've never had such poor service followed with indignation. The took one entré off the bill but kept the mandatory tip. Can it really be called a tip if it's mandatory? Will never go back. read more

We sat outside on a beautiful Saturday evening and we were lucky enough to have Dusan . He was the perfect combination of attentive and not overbearing . He made great suggestions . This is a new restaurant serving modern Greek cuisine. We sat outside, and even thought it was pleasant, I felt like the furniture was too large and bulky for the space, as people are keep hitting the back of each other's chair. We ordered a couple of appetizers to share: Spanakopita and Grilled Octopus. Spanakopita was big in portion and very flavorful. Octopus was sooooo good! Plump and soft, tender, with great seasoning. For main, we had Swordfish Kebobs, Blackened Big Eye Tuna, and Seafood Estia. Kebob was nice, came with vegetable kebob as well. The tuna pieces were thick and fresh, spicy and delicious! Seafood Estia was a bit similar to chiopino, but not spicy. Generous amount of seafood, very good tomato based sauce that went well with the seafood. It served with a side salad, but we substituted it with Truffle Fries. Interesting thing was, the kitchen staff assumed that we don't want any rice, because of it... So we had to ask for the rice on the side. For dessert, we had Baklava and Chocolate Cake to share. Baklava was really nice, but a bit too heavy. And the cake? Our server said it was the best chocolate cake she's ever had. It was just a-ok to me. Way too sweet, it was like tasting sugar and sugar... We had a lovely dinner here. Each dish was crafted with care, and with large portion! We were all very full after the meal. I was not a big fan of their desserts, but still, it was great. Wow! What a fabulous restaurant! Just had dinner tonight with the family and this place has many many options for vegetarian's. We had a wonderful waitress. Don't remember her name, but she was so kind and friendly. Made special effort to make sure that we got falafel on our salad and even though they had closed already, we got the donuts for dessert. Do not miss the baklava and the roasted potatoes. Really delicious food & nice atmosphere. Especially for the Cape where there's not a lot of good restaurants -do not miss this one! Walking down the main strip of shopping today, myself and my party (family of five, four adults and a child) found ourselves here at Estia when we'd made it to the end of the street and still hadn't decided where to eat. After taking a peek at the menu we figured why not, their patio was full so they must be good. Upon walking in I IMMEDIATELY felt underdressed in my shorts, t shirt and sandals as the decor and staff were very tidy and polished. (Not in a bad way!) We we're given bread and water and ordered our meals. I had their blackened salmon pita wrap and side of lemon herb potatoes. The wrap itself was pretty good, inside was also some arugula and pineapple salsa which balanced very well with the salmon. The potatoes weren't too bad either, though some spots on each were roasted a bit too much and I wasn't a fan of the taste. While I didn't try the margherita pizza, the rest of the table did and they enjoyed it. My three year old had pieces of everyone's meal and her favorite was the pork gyro so kudos to the chef!
