    Chicken Pad See Ew
    Kelly V.

Ordered takeout on a Sunday night (just fyi - it's takeout only!) Ordered chicken pad see ew, paid $18. Great portion and great, nice and fast service. The person who took my order was very nice and even offered to start cooking the dish 5 min after I called because I said I would be taking around 15 min instead of 10 to pick it up so it could stay fresh (awesome, thank you!). But, I wasn't a fan of the actual dish. For one, It was not sweet enough for me. I am used to a sweeter flavor when I eat Pad See Ew (not Pad Thai sweet, but sweet and salty) and this one just tasted savory. Second, it had thick carrots and huge pieces of cabbage which I have never had in my Pad See Ew before (and not a fan of). I am a self-declared Pad see Ew connoisseur and buy it every time I eat Thai. So I was so sad that it wasn't that great. I don't think I would come back.

Wow! I'm surprised I stumbled upon this gem as they are definitely delicious. The glass noodles dish I had were plentiful in veggies, shrimp and chicken that I ordered. Portions were very generous as I had enough for a second meal. I did like the chicken satay but it is a little sweeter and creamier than I remember chicken satay being. Service was friendly. It is a small place just doing pick up which I applaud, make sure to order over the phone rather than 3rd party platforms to continue to help support local businesses! Their menu is small but plentiful. I can't wait to add more dishes to my palate, and hopefully they're all delicious.

My wife and I just experienced Peppers Thai for the first time. First impressions were really good from the excellent customer service over the phone to the customer service in person. The person we spoke with was very nice and it was fair priced for the amount of food. I got the Pad Thai and she got the Kung Pao Chicken. Both of our orders tasted good and we split an order of Veggie Rolls. I tried very hard to finish my food but I ended up eating less than half and saved the rest for the next day. Definitely a good price for the portions received. I would go back again and try something else since this was so good.

Boy was I surprised when I found out they had opened up another location *when I lived out of the valley, I would come to Palm Springs to eat at their PS location* Now that I live in Rancho Mirage this location is near me. Just finished eating up the food we picked up......and yes.....it's as good as the PS location. The cashew tofu dish was delicious and my partner gobbled up his garlic chicken. The veggie spring rolls were crispy and delicious. If you like the Peppers in Palm Springs then you will like this one. Had enough left overs for lunch tomorrow

Such a great local place to get some really good Thai food. Extremely friendly staff, food comes out fresh, and fast. If you live local then you should shop/support local. Definitely if you like Thai then give this place a try.

Good food...tasty I ordered the pad thai and was a bit disappointed in the flavor. I always thought pad thai used fish sauce This one definitely did not! Not sure if they forgot to add it or what For that only 3 stars

Pad Kee Mao. The portions are more generous I just couldn't wait (this is about 75%).

    Do I need a reservation?

Hello. Thanks for reaching out. Our location in Palm Desert is only for takeout. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Do they offer gluten-free dishes?? I'm highly intolerant and can't even have regular soy sauce.

We have tamari that we can sub in our stirfry dishes. Curries and Pad Thai are already gluten free.

I've been to a few which you think they'll be good but it was a little disappointing. Alway hunting for amazing Thai food... My second time here and it's good. Of course with this heat wave, it's so hot to sit outside which the patio tends to be pretty off limit in the heat. Unless you prefer it. We came for dinner which was still pretty early. There's two main entrance, the front and the side/back where the patio is. And two dining area, front and back. Well we walked in, it was a little daunting as we were the only one there. That does have an effect of do we stay or leave. Anyways, we stayed as we enjoyed our meal last time. It did pick up during our meal. Service was great with our waiter. Constantly refilling our waiter without us having to mentioned it. Menu wise, a good amount of Thai dishes that you would be familiar with. The only downfall, they don't have noodle soup which is a favorite for me. If a restaurant has it, that's a plus. Well they don't carry it. Also there's a bar so that's good as well. Honestly it doesn't matter to me with Thai food if they bring out starters before or with the meal. I'm going to enjoy it regardless. Food, we had the chicken larb. Minced meat with Thai spices and a nice sour sauce. So good and had it with a side of rice. That's normally served with cabbage but this time it's with Napa cabbage. Never had it that way but it was still good. Entrees, the spicy noodles. So many different names for them but all the same. Thin rice noodle with whatever protein and slice veggies all tossed together with a nice sauce on top of lettuce. Some places add that while others don't. Lastly the massaman curry, with carrots, potatoes and peanuts in a rich curry sauce. The food was good and very tasty. Portion wise was plentiful and perfect for a main or à la carte with friends. I'm alway on the hunt for amazing Thai food and this place is quite nice.

Pad Thai was great- my husband has enough for lunch today. Crispy spring roll is just fantastic! Pad Kee Mao with tofu is a great dish. I ordered mild spice and this did not disappoint. Tom Yum Soup, which is gluten free, is about the best I have had. Fresh vegetables and tofu in an amazing coconut broth. Mango sticky rice: now this is always my dream dessert. The broth was pretty tasty, but we've had better. The main thing we look for are the straw mushrooms and this had white mushrooms instead. At least they were cooked. We've had soup that had floating white mushrooms... We will be heading back to try some different dishes, as they have so much to offer!

The Tom-Yum soup is good, but I do believe it's missing some tart/sourness that you'd taste in other traditional Tom-Yum soups, however it's packed with lots of chicken and mushrooms, so that's an A+ in my book! And of course the star of the show, the Pad Thai. You can definitely taste the authenticity of this dish here, it's sweet, savory, nutty, and very aromatic! It was also nice and smoky, you can definitely tell that it was cooked on a wok. They are very generous with their portions as well.
