I always feel welcomed upon entering and the service is always great and attentive! The restaurant itself is spacious and easy to get around, with some TVs playing live games. We ordered the Tom-Yum soup and Pad Thai today. We usually order their Papaya Salad and Fresh Spring Rolls as our appetizers but we decided to order something new! The Tom-Yum soup is good, but I do believe it's missing some tart/sourness that you'd taste in other traditional Tom-Yum soups, however it's packed with lots of chicken and mushrooms, so that's an A+ in my book! And of course the star of the show, the Pad Thai. You can definitely taste the authenticity of this dish here, it's sweet, savory, nutty, and very aromatic! Eating out in 2026 is getting more and more expensive especially when you want good quality meals. I was here some time ago and just had a craving for some Thai food. Checked with Google and it let me know I was just minutes away from My Thai. Friendly server lunch special price was less than dinner price. This was my second visit, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The space is cozy, quiet, clean, and beautifully decorated. We walked into an empty restaurant, but within an hour it was completely full -- and for good reason! The Thai flavors here are some of the best I've ever had. We came specifically for the peanut sauce, and it did not disappoint -- sweet, rich, and absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a Thai tea and a Singha Light beer, both perfect complements to the meal. Our server was prompt, confident, and incredibly efficient. Got the spicy fried rice level three with chicken and the small wonton soup for a to go order. It was ready quickly, and packaged so nothing would spill and the soup was double bagged which I appreciated. Forgot to ask for silverware and realized that they probably don't just give them out as a standard in California, but not a huge deal. We had a nice lunch at My Thai today. Our server was very nice and even split the Thai Tea we decided to share into two glasses. Their lunch specials included a cup of Tom Yum soup or salad, and we both had the soup, which was just okay. He had the chow main and enjoyed it; I had the Thai spicy eggplant and it was good. I Love Thai Food. This place was okay. The food was very generic. It's your typical decorated Thai restaurant setting. They can work on their employees customer service. Our server was focused on her co-servers, standing around leaning on the counters and talking. I had to ask for my water refills. The worst part was when we were seated we were sat where a lot of water was leaking causing the concrete floor to be slippery. I told the server and she seemed to shrug and say, "they must have left the water going and the sink over flowed". You would think she would have cleaned up the water after we moved ourselves to another table. NOPE - the water stayed there the whole time! I will be thinking twice to go back. Came here on a whim as we didn't want to eat at the hotel. Found out this place was open late thanks to Yelp. The service was really good. The portions are big we had the pad see ew and the pad Thai noodles and the panang curry. All had good flavor, with a nice kick if you like spice. The price is above average but I guess it makes up for it in portion size. We also got the Thai tea, which is super sweet and concentrated. I had to water it down due to the sugar content. As another reviewer said, "It got the job done." But it wasn't anything to write home about. Only reason we ordered pickup from here is because Thai Hot in Indio is closed this week for vacation. Their curries are made with chicken stock...not traditional in Thai cuisine. I asked for my tofu yellow curry to be made vegetarian and they said they can do it without chicken stock, but it would also not have half and half. Thai curry made with half and half?? To start, it's a great name for the restaurant and it was conveniently located close to my hotel. We came here for lunch and it was actually pretty crowded but didn't seem to affect the level of service (which was very good). The menu has a good variety of options including the popular items you would expect to see, like pad thai. The prices were a little higher than expected but the portion size was pretty large. We ordered the pad Thai and the pad see ew, both of which were pretty good and the Thai iced tea was refreshing. Busy little place. Thought the food was going to knock my socks off since it was so crowded. Service was nice - ambiance was rushed and loud and small area. Food just okay- I have had way better Thai food. They were not helpful with the menu and my husband ended up with a stake salad, needless to say it wasn't clear on what he ordered. He also ordered a side salad and he did say the peanut butter dressing was good. My curry was just okay nothing to shout in the streets about. As a local to the desert I won't be coming back. One and done. We like to try different Thai places and this is off the list. You might like it , don't take my review as bad for you. Just saying I have had 10x better. One of our favorite places to dine. The food is always fresh and tasty, the staff is always friendly and courteous, and best for me, the chef accommodates a vegan preference. I know I can easily get a healthy meal, while my husband gets his favorite food at his high spice level. Speaking of that, I appreciate the 1-5 scale of spiciness so there are no surprises. They have all the favorite authentic Thai dishes freshly made. My husband loves the vegetable Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup with tofu, and Spicy Fried Rice with tofu just to name a few. If you're like me and need to be more careful with a low fat plant-based diet, I enjoy the fresh vegetable spring rolls, steamed vegetables and brown rice or noodles- not an easy task to eat like this in a restaurant. We really enjoyed the new Indiana Jones movie and this Thai restaurant in the same parking lot as the movie in La Quinta on Sunday night! I would give this place a strong 41/2 stars. We loved the noodles the best followed by the chicken satay, rolls , and mango. Everything was so fresh and the service was outstanding. However the curry was a little watery and needed more curry flavor. The eggplant could have used a little more flavor as well. Those two were not bad but we would try something else next time. Every dish here is exceptional--easily my favorite Thai spot. All ingredients, especially the vegetables, were so fresh. The satay chicken was cooked perfectly and not only had a delicious peanut sauce but also a yummy cucumber relish. The food was piping hot when it came out.
