My pizza was given to me with the warning that the bottom of the box was still very hot. It was still plenty warm when I arrived home 30 minutes later. The crust was perfect, you could use the outer crust like breadsticks. Great amount of toppings, just the right amount of sauce, and the ordered addition and change of toppings were done flawlessly. The owner told me 3 times how long they had been open with pride. I agree, great spot I will return to, as should you. Recommended

I had a chicken garden salad with French dressing, it was a good size, the other five people had various dishes that all looked tasty. I really liked the way the place was laid out, dark woods, cozy. My only complaint would be the old-fashioned I ordered, it was pretty small for $15 bucks. I guess I should know better trying to get a mixed drink in a restaurant these days. I switched to an IPA that came in a pint glass, cold and yummy, I had two. We will be back!!

We were seated right away and our server was super helpful and had great recommendations. The menu is huge and everything sounded really good. They feature some things that you don't see elsewhere in town, like the Cudighi, which is a Yooper classic! Nate ordered that and I got the firecracker salmon bowl. I really enjoyed the food - the salmon bowl was a good portion and very fresh. I liked the veggies and the flavor was Asian-inspired. The Cudighi sandwich is basically a pizza sub with a spicy sausage patty that's been baked in mustard. It's unique and interesting, and Nate enjoyed it. We don't get to the NW side of town that often, but I would make a special trip to visit Roasted again. They have weekly specials and features, and a Saturday prime rib dinner!

Sophia's opened about six months ago and the location is suffering as the previous owner was less than kind to the patrons of the nearby Walker Roadhouse. The owner knows a thing or two about fresh homemade local ingredients. The sauce and pizza dough are made fresh daily and many of the toppings come from local Sobie Meats. The 16" deluxe was at least 18" and was loaded from edge to edge with quality ingredients for $15.99. The crust was similar to New York style, but just a little crispier. The breadsticks were light, airy, and melted in my mouth! Food was made from scratch and ready to walk out the door within 20 minutes. There are a few tables and chairs for dine-in, and the decor is a little shabby, but it has a nice hole in the wall feel. Give this new local business owner a chance!

We've gotten plenty of takeout from Quarantino's over the years, but only recently stopped by to dine in. We were greeted right away and got to choose a nice booth by the window. The menu is concise and features their delicious Detroit style pizza. I was starving so we ended up ordering quite a bit to have leftovers - the kale Caesar salad, one of the weekly feature pizzas, and the Quarantino's deluxe. The salad is one of my favorites - it's made with curly kale and topped with crunchy kettle potato chips. It's always good and makes for great leftovers because it's so hearty. Our pizzas came out shortly after our salad was finished and they were delicious. Their crust is perfection - fluffy but chewy and crispy in the right places. I personally love their red sauce the most because it's savory, and not overly sweet. The toppings on the deluxe were plentiful and high quality. The special pizza rotates weekly(ish) and this one had 'nduja, ramp aioli, and shredded potato. Plus lots of cheese. Their specials are always inventive and sound so tasty. Our server was super fun and awesome to chat with. I really liked him, he brought such a big smile to my face. The place was packed full of people (a sign of a great restaurant) and while I sat and waited over fifteen minutes past my pickup time, I watched people come in, be told it will be a few minutes and then their receipt/order gets pulled and then taken to the back, like mine was. Almost as if they don't bother making the pizza until you show up? Anyway, we picked up our pizza and bread and headed out. I was surprised at the small box that contained both the pizza AND the bread; I got into the car and opened it and laughed. The pizza was small, the bread was small. I was surprised at how little food there was. Oh well! Lesson learned. We took it back to our hotel and fed the kids. The pizza looked delicious, but was just ok. The cheese bread looked amazing - and then I bit into it. Dill. Why is there dill on the cheese bread? Overall, it was an experience. Nothing terrible, nothing great. Note: finding parking for carry out is a challenge.
