Went in to see if I could get looked at as I was having sinus problems. Had to wait until they returned from lunch but the Stripes urgent care next door is closed for lunch at the same time so I went here as there reviews were better. Seen quick Dr was great only bad thing is there is no X-ray on sight you have to go to AJ to get that done so I got stuck with 2 copays but I would recommend this place very clean read more

This urgent care is way better than stripes urgent care. The lady was so much nicer and caring. I would recommend you go here instead of stripes. They make you pay $40 just to fill out a sheet. That is the bad part about this, but it's better then stripes. read more

After my unpleasant experience at Stripes Urgent Care, I went down the road to this place. Upon walking in I was asked how can I help you. I stated I needed to be seen and was told sorry everyone is going to lunch. Why are these businesses open when no providers are available. Close facility for lunch. I drove an hour to get here. Awful, unprofessional people. My daughter walked in yesterday, asking for their help. Two elderly women behind the counter immediately started interrogating her, starting with "do you have an Appointment." Then they put their masks on, basically told her to get out, and they couldn't help her. And quoted some mumbo jumbo about "the government." I've never seen anything like it. The billing department is quite suspect and extremely disorganized and inefficient. I received a bill TWO YEARS AND TWO MONTHS LATER if I didn't pay they threatened me with a collection agency. Wouldn't recommend at all. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Travelled to Gold Canyon from WI with a bad cough and cold. Symptoms progressed and I went to Peralta Urgent Care where the NP Linda quickly diagnosed a double ear infection, bronchitis, and possible pneumonia. Shots, prescriptions, and a breathing treatment had me feeling somewhat better by day's end. A follow up breathing treatment the following day was recommended and received. The worst of the illness was over and I as on the path to recovery. Without prompt treatment I may have ended up being hospitalized. I am active, very fit, and healthy but this illness required aggressive treatment which was provided by Peralta Urgent Care. read more

My girlfriend needed to have blood drawn. She started calling PUC a little after 8:00 this morning. She called about 15 times. Left about 8 messages. No answer and no return calls! Finally we just went in figured they were having a busy day. When we got there the waiting room was EMPTY! She told them she had called many times. They gave a weak sorry. The person at the desk said she'd get the nurse. So we sat there about 5 minutes when the nurse came out to talk with a patient that came in after us. She said "I didn't know you were here." When my girlfriend went in for her procedure a guy comes out of the office and starts spraying insecticide INSIDE THE OFFICE WHILE THERE WERE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE!!! When my girlfriend came out she had a urine sample jar in her hand. Said I'll have to take it back to the office after we got home. The reason was there were no hand rails in the ladies room. She just had surgery and can't get out of a low chair or toilet. When I took the sample back I put it on the counter. The guy that was spraying the insecticide says "You can't put that on the counter!" It was in a sealed plastic bag! I said "It's okay to spray insecticide in the waiting room while I'm sitting there but I can't put this on the counter?" It went on for a while. He said there's other places to go. I said we would not be back! Avoid the place like the virus! read more

Went there to be seen for severe stomach pain. No receptionist at desk. After sitting for 15-20 minutes the lab tech came to get someone for labs. I asked her if anyone was seeing patients today. She went to the place next door and a man came back and said they were not seeing patients today. I said they should perhaps put up a sign stating that rather than let people sit there in pain. He said yes that is right. He sent me to the one down the street. Again no receptionist. After 5 minutes or so one came and informed me it would be a long wait. This is unacceptable and not a proper way to do business. Front desk needs to be manned at all open times. Yes, they need breaks but you get someone to cover for you!! read more

Not happy with Peralta Urgent Care! We went there last Wednesday for my husbands foot that was swollen and badly bruised. He had an X-ray and said he had a bone spur. The next day we decided to go to a specialist and his foot was indeed broken! Urgent care called us on Saturday to confirm his foot was NOT broken and that he was walking in bad shoes with no support! They should have done a load bearing X-ray but didn't have the correct equipment... instead they should have referred us! I am not happy we paid 75.00 up front for a wrong diagnosis. They will not refund us and they said they did their job. He also said "75.00 isn't much anyways". His attitude was horrible and I believe it was the owner! We Will not go back!!!! read more

I am from out of town and was suspicious I had a urinary track infection. I went to this clinic even though it had a 1 star review. I walked in, no other patients were there. The place was very clean and since it was Sunday, there wasn't a receptionist however the nurse practitioner, Virginia, was at the front desk. I had to fill out forms since I was there for the first time. After that, I was taken immediately. The have a lab on the premises and I received the results within minutes. Virginia took the time to explain everything to me. I thought she was great. The owner's husband walked in and was as friendly as could be. I asked Virginia why there wasn't more people and she told me they weren't crowded in the summer. I don't know why the other 2 people gave them only 1 star. Maybe they were thinking of the old clinic. I would definitely go back and would recommend this clinic to my friends. read more

Very unprofessional and rude. Came here on Monday for an ear infection that wasn't hurting too bad and the nice NP gave me ear drops and told me to come back if I was not getting better so she could prescribe me oral antibiotics. A few days later my ear infection became so painful, I had a high fever and had started vomiting. I came back to this location to see the same NP and the rude front desk man told me they could not treat me, I tried to explain to him that the NP told me to come back for oral antibiotics if I got worse and he would not listen, only talked over me. He tried telling me that the establishment is only for a "quick fix". I am a medical professional myself, I know what urgent care means, you don't need to mansplain "urgent care" to me, sir. I even tried explaining to him my primary doctor is booked for the month. He still would not listen. I walked out frustrated and crying. If you're sick please go to the urgent care that is in front of their building! They are so much nicer and very professional. They were shocked I was not prescribed oral antibiotics to begin with and that my infection had much worse. They also told me they have a lot of people come to them because peralta urgent care is so bad. If you are not equipped to run a medical establishment then you shouldn't be in the business of medicine at all. read more

My mother is really sick. She was looking for the urgent care and finally found it. It was 5:59 and the signs outside say they close at 8pm. The lady literally locked the door right in my moms face. So heartless and unprofessional. She could've have at least told my mom sorry ma'am we are closed. Instead was rude about it. read more

I went in after a frustrating time to get my pharmacy at Kings Ranch Rd. The Desert Clinic needed to call the prescription into the pharmacy. I called the Clinic and they said they would call it in, they did not. This is not the first time they have lied about turning in the pharmacy. Since they said they did call it in and did not, I made a trip to the clinic to get the call in which they said they would do, but did not. When I approached the front desk, I found the red head receptionist to be very rude. This is not the first time I have had an issue with the front desk. If this was my clinic, this redhead would be looking for a new job. read more

Father was diagnosed with flu and a prescription was called into his pharmacy for Tamiflu. Before we left I went back into the urgent care and asked a simple question. Was a flu test done and what symptoms he presented that made the FNP determine it was the flu? A simple question. I wanted education. (I am a nurse in the area and I have been seeing a lot of the same type symptoms, but when the patient is tested for the flu it came back negative.) I was told he had a fever by the tech (blonde) and that she would go get the FNP to talk with me. The tech came back to the front and told me they don't do flu tests. That the person that diagnosed him is a FNP and that if we didn't like the results we could go to another doctor. WOW, I couldn't believe the disrespect for a simple question. And, no, I never once mentioned I was a nurse. I don't throw around my credentials. I didn't feel that it was necessary but maybe I should've. I had a simple question that I needed to be explained to me, that was all. I suggest you go somewhere else. This place was cold and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy! No fever, no chill or body aches, gradual onset, eyes were tearing, nose was runny, and cough was present. Many things it could have been. read more
