    Tomato Burrata appetizer

Checked out this rooftop patio above the hotel William Gray on a summer weekend afternoon. It is one of the better views in Old Port. Food - (3.5/5) - it's not an expansive menu for sure so check ahead if u are eating to see that u have options. Had the Burger Perche and it was not bad. Onion bacon jam was a nice topping. Burger was cooked well and sweet potato fries were good. Burrata appetizer was ok. Not as good as u would find at pure Italian restaurants but ok. Service - (4.25/5) - Servers were friendly and attentive. Food and drinks came fairly quickly. Atmosphere- (4.25/5) - two tiers of tables to see the city with umbrellas for when it's too hot. Seemed pretty chill since mid afternoon. Overall - (4/5) - it's a good spot to go for light bite or drinks and a view. Chill vibe.

After enjoying ourselves in the nearby speakeasy ColdRoom it was time for our dinner reservation at Perche. Overlooking Place Jacques Cartier, Perche is an upscale eatery and cocktail bar. We sat near the glass with great views of the Place and the Old Port. Street performers music filled the space was an added plus. The servers were all excellent especially Alex. The food was top notch and the cocktails delicious. Prices were very reasonable considering the setting. Very delightful and enjoyable evening dining alfresco. Not to be missed when in Old Town

What a cool rooftop bar! The place is very modern, fun, and hip, with a great view. I sat at the bar and had a fantastic time. The bartender (I believe his name was Jospeh according to the hostess) was incredibly knowledgeable about the drinks, super friendly, and his hospitality was exceptional. I had a couple of cocktails, and they were absolutely delicious. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

A great spot to see the sunset over Old Town Montreal and the River. We loved the views. We have fantastic service and everything tasted delicious. The drinks were very good!! We settled for apps to share for our dinner because we weren't overly hungry and it was all delicious. A wonderful place for a romantic meal.

This rooftop was closed to our hotel and we were curious to experience it as the view was good. The menu was limited and pricey but drinks were good and came fast. I ordered the grilled salmon and it was worth it. The ambiance was relaxing and there was perfect for a conversation while you drink ans eat. Service was 10/10 starting from Alicia that offered to put us on a wait list since we didn't have a reservation and rain was expected. Julia our server was top notch and accommodating she checked on us multiple times and made recommendations as the menu was new for the season. Overall, this place is good to start the night with a light dish and drinks with friends.

Beautiful atmosphere with great views, very good food and drink. Enjoyed the shrimp appetizer, the wagyu burger, carbonara and tuna tartar but not the salmon, bland and not remarkable. Drinks to recommend: kinglet and a tequila drink with a tajin rim. Sangria was not great.

We were there in September and it was the perfect place to be on a perfect day. The drinks were delicious, vibe was great, friendly staff and good food. I recommended it to my friend who was visiting Montréal this weekend but we realized it was closed for the season probably:/ Hopefully next summer

Great view of old Montreal from this rooftop restaurant! Too bad the food does not compare to the food which was mediocre. The chips with our guacamole were stale. Drinks were alright.

Came here for drinks on the rooftop while we were in Old Port. We happened to walk by and saw the rooftop which looked cool, so we tried our luck and they were able to seat our party of 12 pretty quickly. The entrance to the rooftop is in the alleyway. The elevator was broken so we had to take the stairs up, but once up there you get a birds eye view of everything; the water, the Ferris wheel and all the architectural buildings. The playlist they had on was great, a lot of throwbacks of R&B hits. Drinks are on the pricier side. I tried a couple different cocktails and they were all pretty good. My favorite was the blossom, it wasn't too sweet and perfectly refreshing. We didn't try any of the food so I can't speak to that. Service was alright, it was a bit on the slower side.

We stumbled upon this rooftop restaurant by chance, and we were so fortunate to do so! We had a group of 15 people, with no reservations for the evening, and the manager was so accommodating! He set us up at a couple high top tables, and put Kayla in charge of taking care of us. Kayla went above and beyond in taking care of us. She was an excellent server, but she was also so engaging with our group. The food and drinks were excellent and exactly what we needed. I highly recommend this place, and ask for Kayla if you go!

Perfect! We left our name on the list and received the text letting us know our table was ready sooner than we expected. We took the elevator up and were seated on opposite sides of a small round table. We chose to move the table and chairs so that we could sit next to each other side by side and my wife was anxious about if that would be okay. Seconds later, the gentleman poured us some water, checked the stability of the table that I had slightly moved and then placed a small shim to shore it up. Our appetizers were laced with caviar and the first bite of the burger juiced my wrists like a good burger should. I don't remember being asked rare, medium or well, they decided to just make it perfect.

This is one of the most beautiful roof top lounges I have been to. In the heart of old Montreal the beauty of it is surreal. You have the water body at a decent distance and have beautiful old architectural buildings all over. This place was packed with people! I am surprised there weren't as many reviews online as I would have expected. We did wait in line downstairs for about 10-15 Mins and got seated upstairs soon after. The servers were excellent and came to attend us right away. The cocktails and wine were excellent and paired well with the food. We got wine but we were seated near the bar so we could see all the cool cocktails everyone else was drinking. We got the tartare, poke and guacamole and the ceviche and it was all so good. The view is absolutely gorgeous and we will come here again in a heartbeat. The staff communicate in both French and English. Must go on a summer day!

The second visit was amazing! The bartender working that night was incredible--she clearly knows her craft and made our drinks quickly without sacrificing quality. Every cocktail was delicious, and the overall experience was much more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend The Coldroom. My only suggestion would be that, with a space that busy, the bar could really benefit from having an additional bartender during peak hours. It would help keep wait times down and make an already great experience even better.

They took me INSIDE. Through the restaurant. And out the other side into this absolutely fantastic hidden courtyard. Excuse me?? Why did nobody tell me we had upgraded accommodations? The back patio is one of those spaces you'd never know existed from the street. There are stone walls, greenery climbing everywhere, strings of lights overhead and some seriously cool artwork and murals. It feels tucked away from the bustle of Old Montreal and, once the lights came on, had a really warm, relaxed atmosphere. Most importantly, nobody seemed remotely concerned that a tiny Italian Greyhound had joined the dinner party. I was welcomed right in. Mum ordered the trout over couscous, which looked extremely impressive. She did give me some of the trout. Dad ordered the steak frites. I repeat: Dad ordered steak. At a dog-friendly restaurant. While sitting next to a dog. He did not share. I feel like we've covered this issue before. Dad had wine, Mum had a Diet Coke, and I spent much of dinner curled up comfortably with Mum while monitoring the steak situation. There were developments. None favorable to me. But Wolf & Workman is exactly the kind of place we're always hoping to find when traveling: somewhere the humans don't have to compromise on having a genuinely great dinner just because I'm with them. This wasn't simply "there are a couple of tables outside where you can put the dog." I got the good patio. Dogba's verdict: 5 paws out of 5. Dog welcome: enthusiastic Surprise hidden courtyard: exceptional Murals: excellent photo opportunities Evening atmosphere: Mum approved Mum's trout: apparently delicious Dad ordering steak in my presence: provocative Wine for Dad: yes Steak for Dogba: I'd prefer not to discuss it Would absolutely return. Although next time, when someone says Wolf & Workman, I expect considerably more attention to the wolf portion of the clientele.
