I'm new to the Phoenix area and I came across Perez Auto Shop. It's not too far from my house so I decided to check them out. I drive a foreign car and most shops don't like working on these vehicles so I was surprised when Mr. Saul said they can service it and have it ready by the end of the day. They fixed my axel, control, arms and driver belt. Customer service is excellent!!! Victor was an amazing help, he answered all my questions and assured me that my car was in good hands. Brought in our 2009 Hyundai Elantra for new brakes and other issues. Chose Perez Auto from reading good Google reviews and the location. Plus the third generation of a family owned business is nice. We were happy with their service and final cost seemed right in line with normal pricing. Told Victor about the loud screeching noise in the morning usually when it's cold and he seemed to know right away it's most likely a serpentine belt. We were given estimates before any work was done. Sure, there were some missed phone calls and had to leave a message. And yes it's a small area with lots of cars and limited parking, but we were treated well on a busy Friday before Easter weekend...everything completed in one day. Glad we found Perez and maybe next time we will try the popcorn they have in the lobby. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I usually never write reviews but I felt a moral obligation to do so. For context, I was primarily communicating with Victor. I took my car in for a fuel pump replacement and they did a horrific job. They broke my fuel gauge and AC in the process and refuse to take responsibility. They wanted me to pay them more money to fix something they broke! They even tried to pull the "it was already broken when you brought it in" nonsense. Extremely poor communication and customer service. Do yourself a favor and find another place. read more

I started my day thinking, "oh great, I have to go to the auto shop." I called and spoke to Gabby and remembered how nice everyone was last time I was there so I grabbed some cookies. My recalibration took longer than expected (through no fault of theirs) and gabby turned on a movie and offered me popcorn! Turns out it was a great morning with great service! I sent a customer's car to this company (my company provided only mobile service at the time) as the diagnosis required an engine due to a broken crankshaft gear. Authorization was provided and the car was picked up when we were notified that it was finished. After about 2k miles our customer notified us the car did not start and we picked it up and had one of our techs conduct an initial diagnosis. We discovered the vehicle presented with the same broken crankshaft gear. We sent the vehicle back to Perez Auto and demanded a copy of the invoice from the engine purchase which was never supplied. We also requested warranty for the engine considering 2k miles had lapsed since it was replaced. The company agreed to do warranty work. After two and a half months and story after story and the vehicle not being returned to us, I sent an employee to Perez Auto Repair to investigate the real status. On the same day I sent the employee I was told the engine was out of the vehicle and they were awaiting a new engine from their supplier. We found out they were lying and the engine had not been removed but the vehicle had been pushed aside and had animals living inside of it. read more

DO NOT TRUST *******************THIS PLACE initially went to perez-auto repair shop took my van there on 7/8 of 20/20. I took my van in because it was overheating so I told them that it was like a radiator issue they kept my van eeden stated that they run diagnostic test on 710 20/20 and that what I needed was a whole new engine they stated that my head gaskets were blown I requested to see the diagnostic print out that showed the results they were talking about and they just kept ignoring my requests I have copies of all of our communication through text they convinced me that the only way to get van out was to get a new engine or rebuilt engine I want with the cheapest offer so I agreed to the rebuild engine attached is the payments for the services that they provided that I paid I made my first payment of $1,000 on 727 2020 pay the remainder when they completed the work they kept saying that the engine was not in yet probably received a text on August 13th of 2020 stating that the van was ready I paid off the remainder that was old on online one of 20/20 they stated that I had a two-year warranty Ivan if anything goes wrong with the engine I have the documentation to prove that one week after that I checked the engine oil it was dry so I had to fill motor with what I have been Ativan for about 2 to 3 weeks then out of the blue it overheated which is the original reason I want I took it in to them to begin with and they didn't pay attention to me so I had to get the amount owed back to the shop I requested that they check all the fluids they said that they would but I really doubt that they did. 9/16 of 20/20 they stated that it was a torn hose they replaced it and I took the van back so all of a sudden on 2/3 of 2021 the engine started steaming up so I immediately stopped where I was driving I had I called them they told the truck the van back to their shop and now they're telling me that it was an electrical issue that caused the fans to stop working which cost to overheat of the of the engine so now the engines blown a gasket they said my no this is a rebuilt engine that I bought pay $2,500 for and they're saying that it's not covered under the warranty of the of the engine and they're wanted me to pay again I think that they're being deceptive in reference to why they needed to I'll do that repair to my van to begin with . I came here just to get my instalok recalibrated hoping they were better than the last place I was at they were even worse and the lady Miss Gabby chose to tell me that they don't accept anything but cash or debit card not Apple pay a Google pay no problem I go across the street and spend $4 to pull out $30 to pay her and then she's going to tell me always $38 and expect me to go pull out more cash customer service was horrible she didn't even try to work with me at all on the $8 even though I have to pay the 75 and I know that's not her problem but she just basically looked at this black African-American male and just said oh well you're short so I had to go get $10 to pay her and she didn't even want to give me my change back on the wall their mission statement is for customer service to be satisfaction while I didn't get it she care less and here's my review read more

-5 STARS! Horrible customer service! I took my car into this shop over a month ago to get an intoxalock interlock installed into my car. One of their employees removed my alarm/gps device. I took my car back the very next day to show them and they stated they would look for the device. They gave me the run around sending me back and forth to my car dealership. I asked for the device back so that my dealership can re-install it since they could not find it I was told by one of the employees Lalo to get the price and they will pay for it. Once I got the price they changed their story and I no longer spoke to Lalo I spoke to someone name Gabby who began to give me the run around. She then stated she would need to speak to my dealership, complying I provided her with a manager at my dealerships phone number along with the manager of my alarm system. He informed them that they checked my car and my device is no longer in there and in there system it shows that it is at the auto shops address. Still to this day it is still showing active at their autoshop. After that I spoke to someone that is supposedly the manager named Ismael and he was very rude, would not let me talk and then hung up in my face stating he already knows everything and I can call a lawyer and take them to court. -Phx,AZ read more
