6/19/2026, Juneteenth!! Last weekend my exterior AIRCON fan unit kept running after I turned off inside thermostat,... so I pulled the exterior unit connection. Today, Perez confirmed the switch could be defective. I agreed to have a new switch installed as the unit is several years old and electronic/electrical components wear out. $385.00 total. Contacted them on Friday and they came out Saturday, even earlier than they had stated. My AC had stopped cooling and the house was so hot inside. Came out for inspection and identified the problem and fixed it with no issues. Had them perform a maintenance to make sure everything else was running smooth and to also check our heater issue, so we will be good for the winter. Repairs cost less than the portable AC I was considering buying and done in a timely manner. So nice to be home in a cool house! Called Perez A/C Repair during the week and set up a Saturday appointment. Gustavo arrived on time and diagnosed the problem promptly. I found this company online to request after hours service on a Friday evening on a triple digit/heat wave day. The response was immediate, even with the call being after hours. They were able have someone out in a timely manner (same day) and had all the needed parts readily available. The owner (Bryan) kept me in constant contact with the technician findings and ultimately were able to get the job done at a fair price. I called them on a weds afternoon, soonest they had available was Friday morning. I went ahead and scheduled that. I was able to call and text them on the number on Yelp. I even texted them around 10pm and got a response instantly. They were professional the whole time with quoting and getting the work done. There was water dripping from my intake vent and they were able to resolve the issue. They quoted me a flat rate for inspection over the phone and then gave a reasonable repair total price on site. It was close to 3hours from the time they show up and the time they packed up and left. It is now 5 days since the repair and i havent had any issues since so im very happy. First and foremost, I'll start with the positives of the experience. The repairman was kind. I gave 2 stars for a few reasons. When I first scheduled the service to have my water heater drained, I was told a date and a 2 hour time frame when the technician would arrive and complete the service. When that date and timeframe came, I was contacted 20 minutes before the end of the timeframe for the service to be completed and was told the technician was sick. Not a big deal; however, the rescheduling process was odd. Once I was rescheduled for the following week, I was now receiving automated text messages about the appointment scheduled that I was not receiving prior. So, I am not sure if maybe there was a hiccup in scheduling my initial service, and I was missed for scheduling and it wasn't a sick technician issue - but it was odd. Second, the technician drained the water heater and in doing so, caused a leak in the water heater valve. He promptly advised me and went to the store to get a plug for it. I assumed it was fixed, but returned the following morning to adjust the heating knob and it was leaking pretty extensively - so that will be something we now need to replace ourselves. Lastly, the fee to use a debit card is outrageous and was not told to us in advance so we could create a check or provide cash. I had to pay $35 just to pay with my debit card on an $85 service. Overall, the technician was kind, but we won't be using Perez Repair Heating and Air moving forward. read more

I was 7 days without AC in july, had a service contract with another company, but they told me they had trouble finding the parts. On friday, they told me they needed another 4 days (making it a total of 11 days in a hot house) to get the parts. I gave up, looked on Yelp and called Perez Repair on Friday late afternoon. Brian was at my house in 30 minutes but had a little trouble and wasn't able to fix it. He came back the next morning, Saturday, and within 20 minutes, my AC was good as new. Perez Repair, I think, is a family business. The son, Brian, is polite and honest, did a very good job, explain the repair and saved me $300. I recommend them 100%. read more
