We took off a star because the end cost was more than double the initial estimate. We were initially quoted $700 for the work based on the pictures I sent, and after a phone call when I explained the issues, he said give or take $200 more, but in the end, we had to pay $1,500 (plus a $100 tip). Dino explained that this was because there was some work needed that wasn't visible in the photos I sent. It might still be a good price overall compared to what I'll pay at the body shop, but for other potential buyers, just make sure you send all the photos of the things that need repairing so that you don't get surprised by the end cost.

I specifically asked them to put on Toyota brand parts, paid for them. Yet to my surprise, they did most of the job with aftermarket parts. I only know this because I took my car to get a regular check up at my local Toyota dealer, and they informed me that the parts were in fact, not Toyota that were replaced. Not to mention, there was a huge fiasco with an employee leaving that was working on my car, which significantly increased the time it took to fix the car. Two weeks turned into four weeks, every code under the books is popping up, and I need to get my car fixed at Toyota now.

Hate to say it but I have to remove a few stars for this place. While I don't think they were…read moremalicious and while I feel as though the work they did (replace control arms, ball joints and a tie rod) wasn't necessarily bad, when you go into a shop with a specific issue you want fixed - it was a random shudder in the steering and body - and they charge you almost $1,500 for work that didn't fix the original problem, that could be labeled as bunk. I had to go to another guy down the street to get the issue truly addressed and fixed: both front half-shafts had to be replaced, the joints were worn and loose. Anyway, I was lighter about $4,000 when all was said and done, it just sucks not knowing if I threw away the initial $1,500 on shoddy, unnecessary work.

Go here with extreme caution, we had 2 consecutive repairs and both had a negative impact on us…read more(the client/customer). First, Rubio was selected by our insurance to fix a small dent/scratch on back left which turned into a repair cost of 5X of original quote and a spike in our insurance (not to mention it took 7-8 weeks!). While that was wrapping up, we had our second vehicle in for repairs to be covered under warranty and after 3-4 weeks of lies and being without the vehicle again, we lost our chance at getting the repairs. Travis had told us repeatedly (verbal, text & email) that he had submitted 3 claims for repairs. He never did, these were all lies! Turns out he did nothing. The overall communication and lack of execution was very poor! We were extremely disappointed and do not recommend Rubio/Travis to any of our friends and family in the area.
