Go else where. I went here yesterday and I regret stepping foot in this place. My once thick eyebrows are all gone. The lady was SO ROUGH. She just kept popping hair off. My eyebrows were so full before I sat in that chair and now I have two little lines to call brows!! You can see how light and sore the area around them are because she threaded all of my hair off. Today at 11 ish in the morning, into the shop to get my eyebrows and my neck done. I been going there for years and i never had a problem with there work. Even today the person did a great job. Once i paid and tip the young lady. I walk out to head to work. A women on the street once that i had a stained in my dress. I look down and all the chocolate wax go on my dress. I walk back into the store and I said look at my dress. Its all stain up. They told me to please have a seat and we can help u. I said ok as i patiently wait she began putting on alcohol on my dress to clean it. I got piss cuz now I late to work. I told her to stop and give me my money back. She said no refunds. I said i want my money back. I eventually got my money back and then head to Target to get a new outfit for work. They have no respect for the people in the neighborhood and i will never, ever come back too them. The worst consumer service ever. The skinny lady with the ponytail. The manager at this establishment needs to learn customer service skills. I asked for a simple Nigerian henna tattoo. The design I presented was much simpler than the elaborate Hindu Henna tattoos on display in the shop, which spanned from fingertip to elbow. My simple tattoo was only the length of my hand (from fingertips to wrist, a glove). When I told the manager, I wanted Nigerian Henna, he added $10 to the cost of the tattoo. Even after explaining the differences between the tattoos, he argued with me and turned up the music so that other customers would not realize he was charging more for Nigerian tattoos. Later that night, I returned to the establishment for my friend's phone, which was left accidentally. He complimented us on how beautiful we looked for the Nigerian wedding we were about to attend. He also returned $5 of the tattoo money and said he was having "family issues." That night, he was very apologetic...or so we thought. I guess the manager does not realize that we are regulars here, so when we returned for eyebrow threading 2 weeks later, we found that the Hindu henna for $15 was now $65. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I am so upset I am crying right now about my eyebrows. I had semi full eyebrows with a nice arch that took me forever to grow back, and I am extremely anal about my eyebrows (I am a makeup artist). When I fill them in, I love having them look nice and full. I tried this place after a desperate attempt to save time as I am leaving to go out the country the next day. The lady seemed helpful as I explained to her how to do them how I like. I told her to leave the unibrow and clean up the top and bottom, not taking too much from the front as I have far apart eyebrows. I already had my eyebrows filled in, so all she really had to was follow what I drew, and clean up everything else around what I shaded. I am honestly an easy customer, my eyebrows don't need shaping, just cleaning. For some odd reason, it felt like it hurt more than it usually hurts me, but I nudged it off as I realized that it's probably because I haven't done them in a while. I look at my eyebrows, and thought they were fine. But stupid me, my eyebrows were already filled in so I couldn't really see the wack job she did. I go home and take off my makeup. She TOOK OFF THE ENTIRE TOPS OF MY EYEBROWS! Not only that, but threaded halfway up my forehead and has bumps all over. I started crying because this is by far the crappiest worst shittiest eyebrow job I've ever had. It took me years to grow my eyebrows, and one lousy experience to ruin it. I always wondered why that place was always empty, but now I can see why. I am so upset, I probably will go run in and demand a refund despite only costing $6. I don't really care for the money, but I do want her to know how HORRIBLE she did my eyebrows, and now I am forced to go on vacation looking funny. I wish I had gotten her name, so I can post it so you will know not to have her. I am SO DISGUSTED. Thank God hair grows back, but I promise I will never step foot in there again. read more

The absolute best place to get a Brazilian for a good price. They have different wax to use but I got the honey wax for $30 and this is by far the best wax I've ever gotten there is 0 hair left. They do plenty for great prices, I will definitely be returning. I also got my eyebrows done and it was all done by Kay so that's who I'd recommend she's amazing! read more

But afterwards while she was doing my wax she kept ripping it over & over again, and the wax wasn't warm it was very hot and she ended up burning my skin & they expected me to give them a tip. I've being cleaning my eyebrows by threading for almost 20 years. Of course, occasionally the threat breaks. However, today a woman named Mina broke the threat three times within the beginning of my clean up. She was applying so much pressure to my face that everytime the threat broke it snap against my skin, leaving a minor lingering pain (which hasn't happened on previous ocassions when the threat broke). When I asked Mina to proceed carefully, she immediately became defensive and exclaimed it wasn't her fault, that the threat breaks on its own. I told her that, when other people have done it, it never broke that quickly, frequently or painfully. Mina escalated her attitude and tone and she told me that she has been doing this for nine years and that she didn't want to finished walked away and continue speaking in a foreign language. Her co-workers offered to finished my eyebrows, which I accepted and they did a better job than Mina (both in quality and professionalism). When I asked for the manager, Mina cut me off and exclaimed they weren't "managed" but that the owner comes later in the day and I came come back then, which a disappointed customer should not have to go through in order to present her complaint. read more

I was skeptical about the quality of this place because it isn't in the most desirable neighborhood, however, I was happily surprised! I will not let anyone touch my eyebrows except Kay. She is so sweet and patient, and she listens to exactly what you'd like. My brows were a mess from years of plucking, but she fixed them and showed me the beauty of my natural brow shape. I had to stop going there for a while because I finished school and was no longer in the neighborhood every week, but the new place I went to was so horrible. I have no idea why I keep thinking that maybe the next time I go the experience will be better. Only one of the older ladies know how to actually shape the brows. But the last couple of times I've been there I had two different people and it was horrible. One of them I guess didn't know how to thread and kept hitting my face with her hand and the other lady always messes it up and takes away too much hair from one of the sides. I'm so pissed off I came here. I asked for my eyebrows to be waxed. After trying to push off on me their method of why I should get them threaded they reluctantly "waxed" them. One the waxing was done she still found a way to thread them. I just asked for them to be cleaned up because I get them done weekly at my nail salon but hadn't had time to go yesterday. It was really nice and clean they didn't eff up. They have a nice reward system. I really liked it. The people are very nice. I went to a girl called Meena. I just asked her to clean up my brows and she did just that. She was very careful and caring. Some of the reviews on here can throw you off but it wasn't that bad. It's just a bit too pricey $11 for upper lip and eyebrow and obviously you gotta tip too. But I liked it I would go again. read more
