Sometimes you can never trust the reviews. Went here based on Yelp and my lady (Shrery?) was so not friendly. Never smiled. I told her in the beginning that I wanted to keep the arch I had, and have a clean up. She cleaned up and didn't keep my arch so I told her to take off some more by the arch....yeah she took a full line off. She also was rough with cleaning my brows and made me put on my own aloe Vera. That's why I tipped her less and now taking a better look I should never have came here at all. She didn't even say goodbye when I said bye. Terrible service. Stay far away from this place. The best place in Hell's Kitchen for threading! I get my eyebrows done there usually every other week, and it's great for guys who need to get their eyebrows threaded but still want them to be full, shaped well, and clean! Let's talk about the price.. SO REASONABLE! AND they have a punch card that gets you a free threading on your 10th! There is never a long line, the most I've had to wait is 5 minutes! Visiting from out of town and was looking for a place nearby to get my brows done. I came in on a Monday morning around 10a, and they were able to take me right away with no appointment. The gal that did my brows (Remina? Spelling?) was great about asking me what I wanted and asking how to handle certain parts of my brows (I have a blank spot on one side), and was very considerate about my preferences. I come here on a pretty regular basis to get my eyebrows done since it's located on my way between work and home. They do a pretty good job with my eyebrows and the prices are really cheap. I have tried waxing here a few times too but never had a complaint until today when I discovered that my technician was DOUBLE DIPPING during my underarm wax. I have been coming to Shuree for mink lash extensions for almost one year and she always does an amazing job. I started coming to this location because it is right next door to where I live but I keep coming back because Shuree is always so friendly, is quick with refills, and always makes my lashes look amazing. I get compliments all the time and I have her to thank for being so careful and taking so much pride in her work. I especially like that she asks me how I like them throughout the process and will always go back and fix any lashes that may have fallen while she is working on the other eye. She also always checks in to make sure my eyes aren't burning and helps when my eyes start watering which makes me feel very comfortable as I'm staring up at the ceiling for long periods of time. My technician is poornima and she does an amazing job. Very clean and efficient. I specifically love the way she does my eye brows. I have never had any issue.
