On Sunday I brought my own lashes to be placed. She told me that they were too thin and would try her best but it wasn't her strong point and that it would be best for me to come in the next day (Monday) to get them placed by the eyelash pro. I couldn't wait so I asked her if she could place them anyway. SHE QUOTED ME $50, fine. She said she could do them with the eyelashes she had at the salon and that the ones that I brought in were too thin. I didn't like any of the lashes she showed me, they were too thick and look like broom brushes. I asked her if she could place the ones I brought in. She finally agreed and put the tape on my face like she didn't want to do it or like she was being made doing something she didn't want to. So I had her take the tape off and said I'll just come back tomorrow. Monday I saw the eyelash lady Nori and SHE QUOTED ME $100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She told me that my eyelashes were too lifted and that they were not going to stay. I didn't even protest the big price difference as I used to come here years ago and paid $60 ITS LIKE THEY COULDN'T GET THEIR PRICES RIGHT. After she used my lashes to place them, I didn't like how uneven they looked but again she said it was because my eyelashes were too lifted. When done, THEY CHARGED ME $80 with tax $87.10 and plus tip for something I didn't fully like. I went back and GOT THEM REMOVED TODAY (Thursday) just three days after because they suck and got CHARGED $10. The lash lady had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to add a tip. I was like I'm good. PAID $87.10+ $7 Tip plus $10.89 ($104.10) TOTAL FOR SOMETHING I DIDN'T like. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!! read more

Instead of focusing on doing what i asked which was waxing and threading my face she kept finding extra things to do (that i DID not ask for) to charge me extra. This was my first time going and I should've walked out since there was already a lady there who was having trouble soon as I walked in. Wouldn't recommend here at all. read more

I'm very pleased with the service I was given walking into Express Brows. Since COVID my regular brow place has closed and was in need of a new salon. I stumbled upon Express Brows and was pleasantly surprised. Very clean, kind and knowledgeable staff. I had my eye brows and lashes tinted, nose hair waxed and black heads on my nose removed using the hot wax. I came out of the salon skipping along with a smile on my face. Staff listened to what I needed and suggested a few other services I had not done before. I'm quite pleased with the results. read more

Only two star because of how rude the woman who does the eyebrow threading is. I've bee going here for about 6 months now and I say hi (like any normal person would when they interact with someone) and she literally ignores you. She proceeds to act like she doesn't want to do your eyebrows. I decided to write a review because I always tip and every time she literally just throws the money down like she isn't happy with the tip amount. This last time I tipped she took the tip and literally flung it on the table. I laughed because of how rude she is. I said thank you and she ignored me and walked away. I went in for the first time a bit nervous because I'm always scared people are going to over thread my eye brows and sudha instead told me she wanted to make them thicker and fuller! Within a month after going in twice she has totally transformed my eyebrows! This is the cleanest salon I have seen since the COVID pandemic. The staff is very nice, and the place is very clean. I have gotten eyebrow threading and underarm waxing here three times, and all have been great experiences. The women who work here are very friendly and kind, and they do a meticulous job with the brows. I've gone other places and paid MUCH more money for them to be uneven or too thin. Very nice place but the lashes are fake, I paid for mink lashes and got the same things the give the girls who paid 25 dollars. it took them ten mins... when it normally takes about an hour, she didn't take her time, the lash removal was very painful, which had my eyes watering and burning. ive had lashes removed. that as well take 30 mins not this place they use a glue remover which is bad for your eyes. Go to a real place that is gone to give you the real deal. christian lash on 39th and 6 ave. I refuse to pay more to look a mess. read more

Sudha has been doing my eyebrows for almost 2 years and she is THE BEST. This location conveniently and coincidentally just opened near my job, but I would travel the 5 boroughs to make sure Sudha was the one to do my brows. She has helped me seamlessly grow in my eyebrows from a botched threading job at another salon. Service is quick and efficient and the ladies here are attentive and friendly.
