I found this place through yelp and the accolades are well deserved. The environment is so comfortable and welcoming and service is very fast. I didn't get her name but the lady who does the eyebrows here is very personable and lovely to talk to. She did an amazing job with my eyebrows and was very detail oriented with my eyebrows. I felt very special as a customer because of how careful she was with my eyebrows. This will definitely be my new go-to place for eyebrows from now on!

The first time I went the business was not open though I arrived during business hours according to Yelp. I had arrived on the Hindu holiday Karva Chauth. You might want to call ahead before you come, though keep in mind she probably has to leave a customer in order to answer the phone. Also, she has a limited range of conversational English, just a heads up. The venue sits across from Victoria's Secret as a standalone booth with one Esthetician, presumably the (co-)owner, attending to all customers. When I arrived I was the fourth customer on line, and had to wait approximaty 30 mintues, which may be fatiguing for some; her partner was kind to offer me their only seat. The Ithaca Mall does not offer free Wifi but my cellular signal was sufficient while I waited. Once seated I did Not feel that service was rushed. After an initial pass the Esthetician spent some time touching up both my brows. She'll hand you a mirror before you leave and you can point to anything you think was overlooked which you might wanted addressed. Cash is the preferred method of payment but I only had my debit card. I input my credit card number, expiration, CRV, and zip into the SquareUp App on her phone myself. There was the option to leave a tip within the app and choice between receiving receipt by text or email (my number automatically appeared once my card information was entered). Shortly thereafter I received a text containing a link to view my receipt. From the receipt you have the further option to rate your service experience. Great service and kind demur, I'll be back.

My mom and I were here at the mall and I knew this place was here so I figured I'd stop in and do them real quick. What a mistake. I don't know WHO did my brows but I would not recommend her. This is supposed to be a fast process. She took at least 10 minutes. When I do them at home, I'm there for 10 minutes total, including paying. Although this wasn't the real problem. She was threading exceptionally rough but I'm used to this at times as they get close to get the smaller hairs that may be just starting to grow. Fine, non-issue. What IS an issue is when the next day my eyebrow looks like some small bug took bites out of my skin. Obviously she was getting so close to my skin that she was PULLING MY SKIN OFF! I will never again come here and would advise you to go elsewhere. To add insult to injury (literally) the fee here was $10. Again, cheaper back at home.

I called on the day and the lady is able to get me in within the next 2 hours unlike a lot of beauty salon where you ha be to book days ahead. This is great for my emergency waxing. It's a small beauty shop but cozy. I did an underarm waxing and the lady was very fast. It didn't hurt at all. In the end, there were a few tiny tiny hair that cannot be removed by wax, I suggested plugging them, but the lady did threading! Threading is a traditional hair removal technics in Asia and it's very traditional. Even in Asia where I am from, not many people know how to do it anymore. So I was very impressed by it. The lady really did a very good job. The environment is not fancy but the price is also very good!! Will definitely go back!

After the Lash Lift service was complete I received a special after care package containing Lash Care Serum & Lash Brushes with some info. I also received a loyalty card & they do birthday discounts! After the service was done a few weeks later I was even contacted by The Lash Factory to see how my Lash Lift was! I love this detail because it shows that they care and want to make sure you were satisfied with your experience even after they already got paid for the service. Those little details are what separates this business from other Lash businesses I have gone to in the past. They really go above and beyond - and show that they truly care.
