Our…read moregrass had long died after the freeze in 2021 and unable to grow under our huge tree as well as every plant in our front garden. Our stone wall had cracked so bad it was falling apart and our front yard was a dirt bomb. Very embarrasing needless to say. I was recommended to Daniel Stewart from one of my clients that had the most breathtaking yard. I called him and asked if he could "resurrect" our yard. When he came over and looked at our sad situation he said he could make it beautiful. We needed new drainage and sprinklers that could maintain the yard, new sod that could take the heat and shade, our beds completely redone, old dead plants removed, new soil and mulch and he would do a beautiful design of plants, flowers and rearranging our bench, stone birdbath, boulders to enhance his design. And they would fix our stone wall. He quoted us a very fair price and we signed on immediately. They came out bright and early on Monday April 6th and finished by 5 pm on April 7th. And wow did they do an amazing job. His crew was so professional and when they left all our neighbors started gathering around to see this wonderful transformation that took place overnight. I waited until now May 23rd to write this review so our seasonal flowers would be in bloom and our grass was blended in for the "after" photos. They planted azaleas behind our bench and other flowers around the tree that will be in bloom next spring. We are beyond elated with our new beautiful yard Daniel promised. I paid him a great deal of money to redo some flowerbeds and dig up some areas in the back and put down sod. He told me he had checked the sprinklers to be sure everything had good coverage however he did not because he did not have access to the controller in the garage to do so. He came back later and did something and said all was fine. The sod began dying because it was getting no water. He then came out and insisted he was qualified to change up the sprinkler system to make sure everything would be watered. I just checked his work and the situation is worse than when he started. He told me I could hire a lawn sprinkler company instead. Well, I certainly wish I had. I asked him to replace the dead sod and he hung up on me.

Also, you know when someone's work is so good that neighbors walk up to him and ask for their help. He was back the next day to save their near-dead crape myrtles and trim up an old oak tree. They also had poor drainage that was eroding the side of the tree.

The landscaping here looks terrible and Haynes has been on property for a year. I asked who makes the landscape choices here and was told it's the "landscape committee" + guidance from Haynes. This is the plantings they have in 2 ugly urns they have at the entrance to our neighborhood. No flowers on the planting, never has had any. Looks like giant overgrown weed. If this is the type of landscape Haynes thinks looks good, there is a serious issue! Looks worse than the entrance to a cheap apartment complex & Haynes should be advising on what would actually look nice for this caliber of property. Further, their crews have gotten lazy since getting this neighborhood's business & just come and blow leaves around. Guess they think this is their ATM.

Due to good ole HOA, we had to get College Fund to replace some sod in problem area of our front yard. At 1st, everything seemed going better. We had yard meticulously cared for, from watering (on our part) to keeping weeds and such out of yard. Then we started noticing issues again, although smaller, still needed areas fixed. Miguel, a very arrogant dude wasn't even there for 10 minutes. He stood in one part of the yard on his phone while 4 different zones were going off. He never checked the 2 areas I was concerned about. When I asked him about it he said because it was hot outside. So with his logic the whole lawn would be brown. He said he had been doing this for 15 years, and knew what he was talking about. Very frustrating that he didn't want to listen or help. I do believe he didn't want to be there. It was Friday, he got here late, and commented that he was tired when I had asked how he was doing. Disappointing.
