After trying many different salons and spending thousands of dollars. I think I finally found the a salon that my mom and my wife love. The stylist are very nice and professional. As soon as you walk in they welcome you offer to take your coat and extend their coffee bar to you. I told them my mom is very fussy with her hair and they were very sweet and accommodating with her. I have been bouncing from salon to salon for what feels like forever, trying to find the right combination of a great experience for a reasonable price, with a stylist who I can really trust with my hair, and DENISE is like a dream come true. She met me at the door, brought me right in for a wash, and made me feel at home from the minute I arrived. She gave me a trim and blowout, and worked some serious magic on my hair, b/c the treatment she used to wash it made it feel like LITERAL SILK, I couldn't stop touching it! I cannot say enough about Perfect Image - first of all, the salon itself is BEAUTIFUL inside, modern, chic, and so well kept! I was offered refreshments, and the trimmed hair on the floor was swept within moments of being cut. So well organized, I always get someone on the phone when I call - very responsive on FB as well. (AND there is plenty of parking in their own private lot, no hunting for a spot!) It had been so long since I'd had my haircut, I honestly didn't care how much my visit was going to cost, but I was impressed again! $50 for the wash, the "magic-silky-hair" treatment (which I think was included at no additional cost), cut, and blowout. Let me tell you, I have been to salons in the area and received much less for a lot more money. WON'T RECOMMEND!!!!! Heridania Reyes personality is very dismissive and dry. When asking her to do something healthy for my hair, she appeared clueless. When completing my hair it was an unfinished touch up(rough on the edges of my hair and and left me with open sore's on different parts of my head). You had the audacity to try and charge me to fix your admitted mistakes and was going to send me out with wet hair. If you have been doing hair for "26 years" you're not suppose to make these type of mistakes. She needs more practice/confidence. She was very unprofessional when told of the mistakes she made. She rather an unhappy client than a satisfied one. read more

I needed a last minute appointment for a blowout and was able to schedule same day. I walked in at 1:10pm and left at 1:50pm, looking fabulous thanks to Denise. This salon is beautiful, clean, modern with many amenities to ensure a pleasurable experience. Denise offered tips for my hair and didn't try to upsell. Perfect Image is fantastic. I go to Denise - but everyone there is amazing. Denise is an absolute magician, and makes me look great. She really can assess your face, and tell you what will look best on you. I can't believe how much I love my short haircut. Its so easy and cute. Denise does incredible formal updos as well. Every formal event starts with a trip here. They alleviate the stress, and make you feel great inside and out. The best thing is they can do your hair - and when you are done you can get your make up done by a pro! I took a class on makeup - and Henrich (I think that is the cosmetologist's name) made everything so easy and made sure I got it. I love this place and will never go anywhere else. Also have to say - the coffee is TO DIE FOR. They are always on time, efficient, and you look gorgeous. You will not regret going there. It's the best! read more

This is definitely our new salon. My mother in-law and I went to this new place and love it! Heridania and Elia are excellent. Patient with my mother in law and knew exactly what to do for us. What appears to be a tiny place from the outside is a lovely hidden gem on railroad ave. If you are new to this town and are looking for a new salon give this place a try. read more

I have been using Denise for 2 years. After many years and a lot of money spent on getting highlights, being that I have red tones in my hair, Denise is the only person that was able to color my hair without turning it red. No more bleach and toner for me. My hair is natural looking and more healthier thanks to her advice. She knows I like my long hair and won't cut more than I ask for. My hair is now natural looking and so much more healthier thanks to her. Everyone there is so pleasant. read more

I went in yesterday hoping for a little bit more than a trim because I had been growing my hair out for a long time, it reached my lower back. I told the lady doing my hair that I only wanted a little bit more than a trim and she proceeded to cut at least 5-6 inches off. My hair barely goes past my shoulders and was cut terribly. This was the first and last time I will be going into this salon. read more

My once curly hair was COMPLETELY damaged by the salon owner: First of all, I asked for a balayage, and she gave me highlights. Second of all, as a COSMETOLOGY STUDENT, she put me under the dryer after the highlights were applied, which is a BIG NO NO when doing ANY chemical service. Third of all, after complaining about my hair being NEARLY STRAIGHT, she still was going to charge me for a haircut. She was TOO rough and have improper techniques especially combing my hair after noticing my hair was damage. She made a hilarious excuse saying all i needed was a trim after my service was done, NOT WHILE the service was in process. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I did NOT need a trim as I had a trim the month prior. She could not take blame and tried to blame me. I was crying, my hair I grew for all my life was destroyed in a matter of 2 hours. She needs her cosmetology license revoked and I am planning to write a letter to the head of cosmetology in New York about my experience as she obviously needs a refresher course in cosmetology. I will NOT be planning to return and a family member had the same exact experience with the same exact person. DO NOT GO HERE !!!! Especially with gals w/ curly hair !!!! TERRIBLE customer service and was completely traumatized !!! I cannot even wear my natural hair out anymore !!! And STILL made us pay full price !! Wasted money for a overpriced salon. Completely DISAPPOINTED. read more
