This salon is truly "as good as it gets!" I live in LA and my work as an actress,host and model has me constantly on camera and I while in NYC, I decided to try this salon which was recommended to me by friends in Manhattan!!! I was nervous to try Ombre but left it to the owner of the salon, Rita, to do what she felt was best! I am so glad i sat back and just let her do her thing... TRUST her!! DO what she suggests!! I have already been photographed with my Ombre hair at Sundance Film Festival and the compliments were on-going!! Rita, your salon is cozy, calm, CLEAN and genuinely kind people working!Doreen, who was at the desk gave an amazing greeting and was constantly trying to make sure I was comfortable while present!My hair is ONE of the most important things to me and the cut and ombre look fabulous! I have been going to Sharon for many years, she always knows what to do with my hair, to make it look great. My daughter had her own stylist that her and her friend would use. She decided to get some color in her hair and it came out awful, her hairdresser didn't know how to correct it, she tried but made it worse, then she had the nerve to charge her again. I asked Sharon if she could help and of course she did , she corrected the color and gave her a very nice new color. My daughter was happy, I knew she would be. Simple Beauty is a small and intimate salon with a lot of personal attention and friendly staff. The receptions are always helpful and friendly. The shampoo and support staff are courteous and kind. As for the stylists, we go to Sharon. My daughter got her hair cut today by Sharon. Sharon always listens to what her clients want but also suggest things in addition to make the overall result beautiful. My daughter's cut was fabulous and she was very very happy with the outcome.
