I came into this establishment with my sister on Christmas Eve morning there was only one other customer in the store, they immediately helped us which was nice. They started with me, the lady who helped me cut me 3x while filing my nails. She then was told to stop doing my nails and another lady came over and got my nails filed a bit more but nobody checked the length. One of my pinky nails is much shorter than the rest because nobody checked their work. We tried to chat with the people there but I felt ignored because I had said "ouch" multiple times due to being cut. I also noticed they didn't change out any of their supplies. Truly felt disgusting and truly hoping I do not get any kind of infection due to this. I can say I will never be going to this establishment ever again. read more

I realized I wrote a review 2 years ago about how great this place was because the owner did my nails. This time around it was not the case. It was a man who did my nails this time (no big deal, love it) but he made me bleed on 3 of my cuticles while buffing them with the little buffing block. Now the worst part about this, he was still painting over them with the last few clear coat and putting the bloody brush BACK INTO THE NAIL POLISH BOTTLE. It has been 2 weeks since I got my nails done, and I still can't get over how unhygienic and gross that was!! Also my cuticles did not stop bleeding for hours after and that is no exaggeration. I went through about 4 bandaids for one really bad cuticle and it was still bleeding through them!! 2 weeks later and I still have a black mark on my cuticle. Maybe a scab. So bad! Also forgot to mention, he did NOT cut my cuticles before hand (don't know if that is part of the normal routine for dip nails), but most importantly did NOT ask what shape I wanted my nails. When she finally started on my nails, the service felt incredibly rushed, causing me anxiety. My pedicure was finished at the same time as my partner's, despite her starting 20 minutes earlier. It seemed like she rushed through my appointment to accommodate another walk-in. It's clear their priority is making money, not providing quality service. The next day, I sent a message about my dissatisfaction, and she asked me to come in for a fix. However, she only planned to paint over the existing polish, which would leave the nails uneven and wanted me to pay for a color change even though we were fixing her work. I came in to get a full set. The lady, I'm pretty sure she's the owner was just super rough and not very nice. She did the shape of my nails good, after arguing with me about what shape I wanted. Then during the painting the salon didn't quite have the color I was looking for and I normally don't mind swapping colors to go with something similar, however, I wasn't really digging the color she started painting on my nails, I asked if I could switch colors and she told me no. The design doesn't look too bad, but the color is not what I wanted at all. I felt like the entire process was very rushed. She was super rough. And just overall rude. Not impressed! While I love how they turned out, when I got there I had to sit and wait for 40 minutes for the nail tech to finish someone else's nails. I went in for a pedicure on Christmas Eve. A welcoming place with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. I received a nice deluxe pedicure. My heels were dry and cracked and the technician did a wonderful job on them. I left with my feet looking and feeling better than they have in months. read more

Hmmm. There is nothing about this nail salon but the price is what I pay at the Chrysalis in Bellingham. ??? After she was done, she went to work on someone else and just left me for 45 minutes! Finally, I said, "Am I done??" and they let me pay and go about my day. The technician was very unfriendly, didn't say a word to me or smile even once. And it smells like an outhouse in here!! What? When I got home, the polish had smudged despite having a ton of time to dry. This is likely because she put on thick layers of old, dried out polish. Avoid this place!!!!!This is by far the worst nail salon I have ever been to; Frankly I only do this about 2 to 3 times a year so my standards are not super high... but this place is awful! read more

Just your average nail salon. I've been twice. Greeted very nicely both times. Each time I got the older woman doing my pedicure. No disrespect but my nail polish was on my skin and overdone on my pinkie toe. I didn't have the heart to ask her to fix it. (You can see on the photos) The woman definitely chat about you under their breath. The massage chair is amazing so it makes the awkward silence bearable. There's a TV on with music showing but nothing playing. Would I go again for a cheap one in sedro? Maybe. I'd probably go into town and pay a little extra for a better experience. read more

If I could give a 0 stars, I would absolutely do so. I live close to the salon and wanted to try it as the one I had been using was a bit of a drive that I didn't want to make anymore if I could find a comparable salon in town. I sat down for my pedicure (and dip manicure) on 6/27/23 and was pleased to see the owner Lily was great at communicating. That was about all I liked about the experience though--the owner could understand most things that were being communicated to her--that's it. Firstly, I really can't stand being hustled thru the relaxing experience of a pedicure, by having to get my manicure at the same time, when I should be able to peruse my phone, drink some coffee and enjoy the massage chair I am paying to sit in. But what was I to do? Lily was very rough with my nails. I was actually in pain for a great deal of the manicure. All the while her aging mother is rushing me thru every past part of the pedicure. I was also displeased when I saw you had to pay $10-15 for a normal pedicure anywhere else. Like they won't even scrub your feet with the pumice stone thing if you don't pay for the of their pedicure pricing. Her mother is weak with her hands and spends absolutely making the pedicure a relaxing experience. As if I wasn't unhappy enough, next I see the store owner's daughter sit down to begin painting my nails. I'm sorry but how is a 16 yr old qualified or certified to do this work? I give her a chance and allow her to do her paint job. I explain to both the mom and daughter this was all for a photoshoot out of town the next day. I ask the daughter to please make sure there are enough coats on the my toes so I don't see them underneath the paint as I know this can occur with lighter colors. She asks me at one point, "is this good enough?" But when I try to look down, her mother who was working on my nails doesn't allow me to move enough in the chair to see. I say, "If you can't see the nails underneath, I'm sure it's good." Even though it was several coats of paint, she rushes through and puts the top coat on way too soon. I sit there for another 30 or so minutes while the mom/owner finishes my manicure. She puts my flip flops on and I assume I'm supposed to pay and leave, so I do. They were 7 minutes away from closing when I checked out. By the time I got home and looked down at my toenails, they were completely ruined. The business was closed and now I was left to fix the nails myself (which I go for pedicures in part because I'm not great at painting my own nails) at home because I could not get on a plane for a professional photoshoot looking like that on my toenails. I took pictures of everything and saved my receipt because I wasn't going to be able to go back and get the refund for my horrible pedicure for over a week (I was out of state). I was pleasant and tipped well at the end of my experience because I am a who appreciates how much tips mean to people and I had no idea how bad the pedicure was until I was home. There were many other little things about the quality of the work (in my manicure as well as the pedicure) that became apparent after I was redoing my nails myself that night instead of finishing packing for my trip. But that's neither here nor there. The worst part of this entire experience was when I went back for my refund. I was polite at first. The daughter was the one working the counter, but as I tried to explain what happened with my receipt and pictures, she kept saying that it wasn't their fault and I shouldn't have a full pedicure refund for a bad paint job. Then the mom/owner came over and began raising her voice at me, telling me I couldn't stop saying what an amazing experience I was having, so how could it be I wasn't satisfied with the work. I began to defend myself. Then her customers who were laughing and saying rude things so I could hear them about me, began yelling at me too. She allowed this to go on until I left. Telling me she didn't have to give me any refund at all. It was awful. read more

There was one nail tech doing both feet and nails, no gloves, going in between customers without washing her hands. Windows closed at least 100 degrees inside with sun beating on front windows last week. I almost got up and left, now wish I had as Ian so sick- I am being tested for the Delta Variant!!!! It was a mess. The polish and tables looked like they haven't been cleaned in months. Dust collected everywhere! Don't go here unless you want to get sick! I had a manicure and pedicure by a very kind and quiet gentleman. He peels hangnails towards you ripping the skin rather than away from you breaking the skin and not causing infection. Last time I had to get antibiotics. This time it almost happened again! I said something before he ripped the skin and instead of acknowledging that I was hurt he showed my the skin and laughed. I understand there is a language barrier but wow!! When filing my nails I don't think he even got the toenail! It rubbed my skin raw. The white tips were uneven and not natural looking at all. I do not say this lightly since I have gotten French tips since I was 16. I got shellack for my manicure and he again filed my skin more than the nail! The white is think and chunky and looks like something a toddler doodled. Best of all it is already peeling! There was residue of polish and gel all over my fingers. Plus they massage your legs and arms which I had never had in a regular mani pedi and turns out I am allergic to the lotion. (Not their fault) Given this has happened repeatedly with anyone BUT Lucy and she is always booked, I will be looking for another nail salon. read more

I brushed it off as they were talking sh*t about my nails and how bad Regal Nails did the fill. Shrugged it off until he started making side comments. Took note all his words as the male in the store hovered over my shoulder. While he was behind me. He pulled out a juicy gum pack, and asked me if I wanted one. I shook my head as I was listening to what they were saying, and the mail doing my nails made a scuff from me shaking my head. I then said, thank you, as I got annoyed. Not to mention I had to tell him two times that I did not want my nails shorter Has a strong monomer smell when I first walked in then they burned Incense. The lady who did my full-set did amazing! I was totally satisfied! And I also got a pedicure.. Just regular polish this time instead of gel because I'm more broke than usual! I hate giving bad reviews. But my experience was terrible. I asked for a fill and simple color change, no designs. They filled over dirt, didn't clean it out. I told them multiple times I wanted clear acrylic powder, not pink acrylic powder and they still did pink. I got gel polish and knew it was going to chip because he didn't clean my nails with alcohol or acetone to take off the oils. 4 days later it all lifted. I went back in to get it fixed. I told him to please clean them with alcohol before painting. He said "no". He did it again and they rippled in the light...I told him it was due to not cleaning them with alcohol before painting. He said "no, it was the light." Took it off then cleaned with alcohol ‍, put in the same light for the same amount of time and they didn't ripple. They didn't give me my money back or any discount. Don't go here. They just want to get you in and out and don't care about you. read more

I just moved here a few months ago and was lucky enough to find this place! Both the manicure and pedicure are fabulous. In these Covid-19 times, they are very good about cleaning, wearing masks, using partitions, etc. Nice staff. Easy parking. They can get busy, so I call ahead and it's never a problem.
