I had a craving for some wings. I have passed by this spot a million times and opted to give them a try. I arrived around 5pm. There were only a few patrons inside. There were more staff present than guests. I imagine they anticipate a larger crowd as the night progressed. Our wait staff wa helpful. She said she typically works at the buckhead location but was helping out at the Cumberland location. We opted to try the wing meal. It comes with one side. If you want celery and carrots there is an additional charge. There is also an up charge to get more than one wing sauce, and to opt for only flats!! Honestly, I am not a fan of all the up-charges. What started as a $13 meal turned into a $16 meal after all the extra fees. The lemon pepper seasoning was good. The reason for the mediocre rating is because the food was not fresh. It appeared that everything was just reheated. I also do not like the fact that the wings are actually wingettes. I really wish restaurants would stop calling them wings! They are a third of the size of a wing. The Tater tots are not good. The veggies were ok- but again did not appear to be freshly prepared. This is my brother's spot and it has now become my brother, mom's, and my hangout spot. We love coming here to hang out especially to watch Saturday and Sunday games. I always get wings and a turkey burger because they make a good one! Not many places can! For this to be a bar with most bar food being standard, the bar food is actually really really good. The wings are ALWAYS juicy, and fried to perfection and a definite must have. The wings come with celery and carrots which is always a plus for me (and my mom lol). My son is home from an Army training for the weekend. I offered to cook and he says, naw Mom, I want some wings. We called up my daughter to meet us a JR Crickets on South Cobb and when we got there, there wasn't anywhere to park, so we left and came here. My kids are in their 30's so to see how our brains meshed together was the best a mom could hope for. I have ordered delivery, pick up and dined in at this located, which is located on Cumberland Boulevard, near the intersection of Spring and near the Chuck E Cheese. However, my dine in experiences have always left something to be desired. Every time I have dined in, we have sat in the dining room area and it always seems that there is just one server for the entire area, which isn't fair to them or the customers. I mean, there are easily 15 tables in that section - way too much for one person to handle! I will say that the server always does their best, so we make sure to take care of them appropriately, but we definitely feel like the restaurant sets them up for failure with that whole area! I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with onion rings, inferno chicken tenders with fries, and a buffalo chicken wrap with a side of mac n cheese. The portions were filling and the wraps were delicious. I can honestly say these are the best chicken wings I've ever had. Other places dont come close. My girlfriend took me here for my 29th birthday recently and it was a solid move. On Mondays they have $10.99 all you can eat wings. Doesn't come with fries unfortunately, you can't get a to-go box, and sauce is extra, but with a friend that's no problem. Let me tell you, you'll get full. The boneless wings have real meat on them. More than any other place I've been to. This has been my go to spot to get wings for years. The food has been good and the customer service. Recently, I called over the phone to make a to go order. I was on hold for at least 25 minutes. I decided to go to the restaurant and place an order since I was waiting on hold so long. When I went into the restaurant it was a moderate amount of people dining in. It was not packed. I went to the counter to place an order. There was no one waiting at the register. I showed the person behind the counter my phone and how I was still on hold. He stated "Oh you've been holding that long." Then he tells me they are busy and my order will be taken. He walks away. Another person came over and said sorry we are so busy and understaffed. Then he walked away. The first person came back to the register and he still did not take my order. He just stood behind the register looking at what appeared to be a slip they use for orders. Then a woman came over and said, we are understaffed I will take your order in a moment. I asked how long will it be..she said 10 - 12 minutes. Keep in mind I had been waiting over 50 minutes between being on hold and standing there in front of them waiting for them to take my order. There were at least 2 to 3 people cooking and a few additional staff members. Someone could have taken the order. At least offered a cup of water. Also, the person I was with said there was water on the bathroom floor...which may have been coming from a leak. I am not sure what is going on with this place. While waiting for our order to be corrected we noticed an insect crawling on the counter where the sink was. YUCK! We got the person who was working attention and she was just afraid. Another male employee came out and even he wasn't having it with the bug. Finally my friend offered to come behind the counter and help the staff kill this big that was crawling on they counter. One of the people came around and tried to make some shit up about "oh you know it's the south...bug always sneak in... No ma'am I don't care what region of the United States of America I am in, having these insects crawling around on the counter is NOT an excuse okay?.. Obviously they wanted to cover this up by offering some vouchers for food but it wasn't handled professionally at all.
